Do not bother with Hyundai Anstey!!! As from all the other reviews below you can see, quick to sell you the car, not interested afterwards. Have caused me nothing but stress, shocking communication, never come back to you, do not take responsibility for anything. Having to argue a 4th return visit costing me fuel money when I've not even had the car a year and one of them was for repairs the garage had caused! Was excited when we picked up our new family car days before having my baby, caused nothing but inconvenience and now I want to return it!

Collected my Hyundai Ioniq 5 vehicle today and this is my second Motability vehicle with Sturgess in anstey. Ordered last week with Ben and the total service provided from start to finish once again was absolutely first class. If you are in the market for a Motability vehicle then look no further. The main reason for returning again was the previous service provided was excellent and nothing is too much trouble for everyone at Sturgess anstey. They are all super friendly providing excellent customer service from A-Z and beyond. This is a rare thing these days and after spending 60 years thus far on this planet customer service overall everywhere is declining. Not here will you find an ounce of not caring and helping. Thank you for a five star service and I look forward to seeing you all again soon

The short version:
I bought a brand-new Bayon
I filled it with petrol once
It broke down after 6 days and 250 miles
It was returned to Sturgess Anstey for diagnosis and repair
I was expecting it to be a warranty repair
I was told the vehicle had been miss-fuelled with diesel and that wasn't covered under warranty
I was charged £983.70 to have the fuel system flushed and cleaned and a blow fuel injector replaced and was told that the 5 year warranty on my 6 day old engine was now invalidated.
I disputed that I had put any diesel in at all
I had to get the fuel analysed at a lab
This showed no diesel present in the fuel
It did show a 0.29% trace of water
Sturgess never mentioned the word diesel again and pointed to the water being the cause of the failure
I again disputed this and stopped just short of taking Sturgess to the small claims court only because the Daily Telegraph got involved investigating my case.
At this point everybody at Hyundai caved in, Sturgess apologised and refunded me my £983.70 & £250
The medium version can be read on the Daily Telegraph website by searching for "My £22k car broke down after just 250 miles – but Hyundai is accusing me of filling it with diesel" on Google
The long version can be read on the Money Saving Experts forum by searching for "Rejecting new car due to dealer misfuel" on Google
Appalling, after-care service, left messages, no replies. Warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. Won’t be buying another car from them.
The reply shows fundamental lack of customer services. You don’t reply to messages or chat bots .

Dealing with Tariq Quareshy was a pleasure, very helpful when buying and exchanging cars.

Salesman was impatient, showed his irritation with me because I hadn’t heard him properly with payment details wich I hold my hands up to , asked him to change my. Bluelink to new car he had trouble with this , then said I will have to do it at home . Said he would ring me the next day, to see how it was going, I’m still waiting

Booked my car in for a service. Needed to change it from drop off for the day to sit and wait. I was told to bring it in at 8.15 and would be an hour and a half wait. On arrival I was told the changes had not been noted and it would be there all day. Told the woman I am unable to do that and found her passive aggressive attitude unpleasant. They did fit it in. Whilst I waited got a message to say needed a new battery for key fob. Clicked the link and paid. When I went to the desk to pick up my keys the guy could not confirm if the battery had been fitted so he fitted a new one whilst I waited. I then get a call from a woman there approx 4 hours later telling me my car was ready to pick up! Told her I already had my car and it wasn’t me she was after. Just feel that there needs to an overhaul of their admin systems and a little bit more training on customer service as it all felt rather rubbish.

Well where do I start with this very bad car sales company. The people who work there are very poor with people skills, as soon as you walk in to look at car they are so over the top being nice to you. Don't be fooled by this because as soon as you buy a car and you need to contact them , you will never never get a response from them. ,and if you do make contact they will say we will phone you back BUT THEY NEVER DO. So unfortunately I brought a car from them for my son's first car and after a week of buying the car it needed over £1000 of repairs doing to it. The car had so many faults I don't know how a reputable company could sell the faulty car or allowed to. Please be careful when dealing with these amateurs, I will never ever buy are car from this company again

I submitted my booking reference number 131834842 today for the appointment I scheduled two weeks ago. Despite informing about my car's system fault, I was disappointed when the receptionist insisted on getting an inspection from another garage due to their system malfunction. It's frustrating that this information wasn't communicated earlier, and now I have to wait another week for the next appointment. Thank you for the unsatisfactory service
Good sales pitch to pay into this and that, but actually, when something goes wrong, not that great. It is what is. I wouldn't come here again. We live and learn.

Disgusting customer service.
They don’t return your calls. They don’t respond to emails. They ignore you unless you complain or escalate things. They don’t give a hoot about you once the sale has gone through.
Was excited about my first ever brand new car and was looking forward to not having to worry about things going wrong and the unexpected costs I was having with older cars.
My brand new car developed a fault after less than a year and after finally getting hold of somebody they’ve basically said I need to claim on my insurance instead. So much for a warranty.
Feel completely let down by this awful company. If you do buy a car from them you better hope there are no issues with it.
They certainly won’t be getting another penny of my hard earned money.

It was a pleasure to buy my new car from
Sturgess Leicester and Tariq Quareshy made the whole process really easy from start to finish. Explained everything really well and no overly pushy sales pitch. Highly recommended

We purchased a second hand car for 22k from this dealership and we have had nothing but problems. The person we dealt with is called Lisa and she assured us that all of the issues we raised prior to purchasing the car (squeaking breaks and low tyre pressure in a rear tyre) had all been checked out by their mechanics and had been signed off as nothing but a tyre that needed pumping up and new breaks (we got this in writing that all of these issues had been addressed).
Well, it transpired after purchasing the car that there was an irreparable puncture to the tyre (resulting in a flat tyre by the time we got the car home) with the replacement costing £220 and the squeaking breaks, were actually down to an error in how a part had been fitted during the MOT (by their mechanics) which would have caused permanent damage to the car had we not taken it to a Land Rover garage and had it checked. This cost us a further sum of money. It’s been weeks, several emails and telephone calls and we have not received the refund, just an accidental response from Lisa to another customer issue with that customers confidential information.
We would advise you DO NOT purchase from this garage, as we have had an appalling and costly experience.

Taking my Nissan car into the Anstey branch with an exhaust pressure sensor fault and following a health check I received an email which showed that I had authorised 3 items which came to £571.76. On arriving to collect my car I was presented with a bill for £643.16 There was no reasonable explanation where the extra £71 had come from even though I had not authorised this. An unhappy first and last visit to this garage

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Sturgess Anstey. After paying a deposit and signing order forms for a car purchase, they decided to change the agreed purchase and part exchange price. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It's a clear breach of trust and a terrible way to treat customers. I would strongly advise against doing business with this dealership, as they do not honor their agreements. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. One star is too generous for the way they handle their customers.

Oh boy. Not a good experience. I had a flat battery on Sunday and got it jump started and transported to Sturgess. They did not get me booked in until Thursday and then to tell me that they do not have the battery and it will take weeks to receive the part. I had to ask for a courtesy car, it was not offered, and they said I will have to wait 2 weeks. Anyway gave up in the end and got it jump started again and took it to Mr Tyre on Aylestone Road and got it sorted in a couple of hours. Sorry, but you charge a premium and I expect a premium. Being a dealership and not have batteries for a common issue is not really good enough. They get an extra star as the people are nice enough.
Carl Bennet was absolutely awesome
Looked after every aspect during the entire process.
Great customer service
Excellent team
Will certainly do all future business through them

Appalling Customer Service and after care!!! Avoid this dealership 100%. Sturgess are more than happy to take your money, not reply to emails properly from customers and then return your car with additional issues that were not originally there! Their Customer Service/after care is absolutely disgusting and all their replies to customers are ‘cut & paste’. The staff are dismissive & inefficient & when you complain they ask you to email their Board & then reply yet again with a ‘cut & paste’ response! I will never take my car to this dealership or visit Sturgess Aylestone Road again!! And finally, their reviews on Trust Pilot are terrible and they clearly don’t care!!!!
