Very happy with the product
I ordered a pair of Versace glasses that would have cost me $330 in Australia, and ended up costing less than $200 on sunglassesshop.com - the product came within a week, complete with designer packaging and guarantee. I am so so happy with my purchase, the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was a delay in order confirmation on the website's behalf (I received a PayPal confirmation immediately, though, which made me feel safer). I only received an email once the glasses had been shipped, and I was provided with a UPS tracking number by the store. An automatic email confirming that the order has been received would have given you 5 stars. All in all very pleased and sincerely recommend this site based on my experiences!
A very disappointing service with Sunglasseshop
I ordered a pair of Oakley M2 glasses with Sunglasseshop as it was the least expensive and had an offer for new customers. The site indicated that the glasses were in stock, so I ordered and paid for the item. I received an email confirming the order.
After nearly a week I had heard nothing more, so I called the company. I was told that the glasses were not in stock and this was an error. I was then told that the glasses would not be in stock for at least three weeks.
I was offered a refund. I asked, 'If I had not called, how would I have got a refund?'
The reply, 'You wouldn't'.
I asked, 'Is there any alternative you can send me?'
Reply, 'No, there is nothing I can send'.
I await the refund.
So in short, I paid for something that was not in stock; received no communication from Sunglasseshop; only offered a refund after I contacted them; no alternative offered to cover the mistake; and I have not yet received the refund.

Inept
Four days to acknowledge order then sent confirmation email with URL to tracking number that had no tracking number. Sent request for tracking two days ago with no reply to date. Then they sent this request for a review - still before item was delivered. Inept.

I ordered my ski goggles online and couldn't be happier! The customer service representative always responded promptly to my chat/emails and my product arrived in the 7-10 day delivery time. And the goggles were even better than how they appeared online! Overall fantastic experience :)
Great service and quick delivery
Credit where it's due. I ordered a pair of ray ban club masters yesterday at lunch time from sunglasses shop and they arrived today by post! Can't get any quicker than that, well packaged and safe and great e mail communications to track. Will by again from this company. An excellent online service.
NO customer service and no idea where my order is
In the past, I've purchased sunglasses from sunglasses shop and they were delivered promptly and the customer service was good.
My recent experience is leaving me with nothing but a sour taste in my mouth.
I placed my order on the 27 December for two pairs of sunglasses. I received my paypal confirmation however no confirmation from SS. I emailed right away to confirm they had the order, I got no response.
Considering their promised despatch timeframes (and their Christmas opening hours) I anticipated that they should have sent the order this week. I've had nothing to indicate this to be the case. I've now emailed in total 3 times and three separate addresses - customer service, au and us @ SS and not a single person has replied.
Very upset as I was keen to receive my sunglasses after good experiences with SS but now it seems I'll be forced to lodge a PayPal dispute and that I have no hope of receiving my glasses.

When I had a question about how the delivery tracking system worked between the UK and the United States, I received a thorough email back from a customer service representative that answered my question. In 8 days, I had my sunglasses - almost forty dollars cheaper than I had found them anywhere else, and with FREE SHIPPING! They arrived and I've been wearing them since, even if it's less than sunny in Seattle!

Ray ban sunglasses appeared to be previously used, and lenses had been replaced with two different prescription lenses! The delivered product was so bad in my view, that I didn't want to take any risks with a replacement and asked for a full refund immediately and posted back at my own expense. They did refund promptly (although not the postage costs I asked for) so I would give them the benefit of the doubt and say no deliberate attempt to defraund. My advice is to avoid.

Vague shipping description cause unnecessary problems with U.S. Customs
I received a call from DHL stating that U.S. Customs had flagged my sunglassesshop.com package because the description of the contents provided by the seller was inadequate. They stated that they were required to obtain my social security number in order to release the package; otherwise it would be sent back. I did some research and determined this was not a scam, so I begrudgingly provided the information so I could get my package. A few weeks later, I was astonished to receive a bill from DHL for various charges related to the processing and release of my package! I was never informed that there would be these additional charges, and after attempting to dispute them I ended up paying them anyway. The frustration and trouble was not worth the money I saved in buying these sunglasses overseas. If sunglassesshop.com had simply filled out the paperwork properly, none of these problems would have occurred. I definitely will never buy from them again.
