Seemed to have miss placed my order initially. Then when I contacted them after a week they wouldn’t provide me a number to call so I had to correspond via email which is very slow. They then claimed I was using a fraudulent credit card, but it was my card. I spoke to my bank and they had no red flags on my card or suspicions. When I went back to surfstitch they stopped replying to me. I only ordered 2 pairs of shorts. A fraudster would order way more wouldn’t they? Anyway, went back to using trusty eBay

Poor customer service. Took ages to respond to emails. Didn't send me a tax invoice. When I tried to return items, the tracking details said that the delivery failed as the "address wasn't available". This seems really dodgy. I haven't purchased from this online store in years, but I don't remember it being this bad.

Sent me a dirty and faulty item - took over 2 weeks to get a response to organise the return. Sent it back over 4 weeks ago with postage tracking showing it’s been delivered yet no refund, no response. Customer service is diabolical and they have essentially scammed me.

Buyer Beware ! It's September 2023 and I think they’ve gone broke but still selling online..... bit like Qantas cancelling flights but still selling them, seems to be a trend. Ordered over 2 weeks ago, they deducted my money but no information on the order and no response to phone calls or email!

This company are thieves they take your money and dont send the items you order. I have been chasing this up for weeks. They ignore DMs, email correspondence and their head office is always unavailable. Please please please do not order from these people they will steal your money and you will never see it again

If I could give zero stars I would.
No reply from the customer service emails, impossible to contact by phone and the whole experience has left me beyond angry and disappointed. I have purchased two $350 gift certificates. Neither of which have been received. Have been trying to get answers as to what’s happened but no reply. I have been totally scammed out of $700.

Beware purchasing from this company. They have taken my money and weeks later won’t answer any of my emails or messages on FB and Instagram.
Very disappointed and unhappy, they should be ashamed taking peoples hard earned cash aka stealing 😞

Would give 0 stars if I could.I purchased a Ripcurl watch in October last year 2022 the battery stopped in March this year so
they actually got that replaced but the battery stopped again which means it was obviously a fault so they told me to send it back and they’ll give me a refund so I sent it back. Australia post said the parcel was lost in transit originally but have since said it’s now been received by surfstitch but they aren’t getting back to any of my emails or messages I’ve sent through social media. That was back at the beginning of June 2023 we are now nearly at the end of July and still no outcome and they owe me $105. I have managed a surf shop in the past and did the buying for it also so know what the merchant pays for ripcurl watches so to not even be able to refund the customer for a faulty item is just so wrong and now I’ll have to take matters further as a company can’t get away with not refunding what is legally mine. I have purchased many items from this company in the past and now I need their support back for loyalty but Im getting no reponse sadly and I don’t know why? Do not buy from these guys because this could happen to you also! It’s been nothing but stress trying to get a response from them and it was a birthday gift. I want my money back. Do the right thing Surfstitch and refund my faulty watch as you said you would. PLEASE!!!!!!

Ordered a shirt in a size Small, Sent an XL. Returned for exchange, they sent out the XL AGAIN!!!!! Now I have no 'free return' able to be generated (cos I've already used it due to THEIR mistake) and can't get an email reply or phone. Absolute scammers!

I purchased a wetsuit from Surfstitch in November 2022. I had hardly used it and the stitching started coming apart. I contacted Surfstitch who sent me an order to return the item at their expense which I did on 28/2/23.

Despite countless emails I have not had a response other than “we are awaiting a credit note from our supplier it should not be long now”. Despite months passing the matter has not been resolved and despite continuing to write to customer service I continue to get no response. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY VERY POOR AFTER SALES CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have been waiting for a refund since December 2022! Terrible customer service. I have sent a number of emails that have all been ignored. Do not shop here!

BE AWARE This company needs to be INVESTIGATED after reading other reviews.
I returned items for a refund four months ago and they are claiming they have not received the goods when in fact they do not want to refund.
I have provided receipts and evidence of my posted package.
They take weeks to reply and provide you with little & false information.
DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS not a trusted online retailer.

Adding to my review below, where I've been charged more, now I have been waiting for my product since early 03rd Feb. Today 20/03.
Nobody seems to really want to help you
I've requested more than 4x times my refund, and still nothing.

Honestly, their customer service is just a joke.
I'd avoid buying with them, dont feel tempted by their email mkt or nice products.
If something goes wrong, you are on your own

Purchased a present for my son from surfstitch he returned the shirts and a towel . 2 months ago still haven’t received the refund. They said it’s been approved. They don’t respond to emails. They are a joke don’t buy form them .

I have been buying from surfstitch for 10+ years and have never had any issues like the other reviews on here.
Shipping is SUPER fast to NZ. Yes they now charge $10 where it used to be free- but it’s worth it to have the items in 3 working days. Never had any issues with returns either, refund takes a while to come through, but every other company is the same. Would 100% recommend for a bargain (when they have sales) that arrives fast!

It used to be very good company. It goes downhill since taken over. Poor customer services. Ask customer to deal with DHL by themselves.

Absolulely NO service!!!!!! They hide behind a phone number they do not attend. I would be very careful of spending money with this company .I bought expensive skate gear for Xmas form them, that they will not organise to exchange to the correct size. Problem could have been solved in a minute had they dealt with it.

Customer service is flawless. A+ for having customers comfort placed first. I purchased shoes in feb 2022 that were Dr Martens after seeing them on many people. After 6mths and 2 wears of the sandals being taken out for 1-2 hrs they were in pristine condition. I had an issue that was kindly seen by SURFSTITCH. The communication with Surfstitch staff was of a high regard as I wasnt pushed aside like I was when I emailed Dr Martens about a flaw in the product. Refund was given and a voucher for future purchases was given. I have already grabbed something from the sale. As Surfstitch has the goods we want and send promptly. Thank you SURFSTICH.
