Please report this company to Action Fraud actionfraud.police.uk so that the Police can build a case against these crooks.

This company has disappeared with my…

This company has disappeared with my money as well. The phone number is disconnected and they keep posting a e mail address that does not work either. I am with the earlier poster in terms of spending whatever money is required to get these fraudsters locked up.

They should all be in jail

My previous review, pinned to the top of Swift's Trustpilot page, is fake. It was posted under coercion and does not represent my true experience with this company. At the time, the only way that these despicable sharks would agree to pay me any of the money they had collected on my behalf was by posting that review.

The truth is the same for me as for the dozens of other people currently posting on Trustpilot. One star because I cannot leave zero.

These "people" collected money on my behalf and kept it. At the end of last year (2024) they promised to send me a payment for Christmas and didn't send anything.

It turned out that they were trying to get a compulsory strike off at Companies House, which has been suspended as someone has objected to it. They did this last summer, though no-one from Swift has ever informed me of same. Instead they promised they would send me funds they had no intention of sending, whilst continuing to collect payments from my debtor even though they had effectively ceased trading.

They are frauds.

The company no longer has any registered officers, the main share holder (owner of 75% of the shares in this scam) resigned in June 2024.

I am currently in touch with Action Fraud trying to establish a route by which I can get these crooks prosecuted. Its not easy, but I have plenty of time on my hands, no money to go anywhere and I am not going away.

They should all be in jail.

Terrible company

Terrible company, not answering emails or any correspondence. Will be taking them to the small claims court and hope others will do the same. The irony of getting a company to chase a debt that is in debt itself and taking peoples money. Absolute robbers! I will be seeing this through am sick of people getting away with this.

They collected the debt i paid them for and now have shut down their phone lines and shutdown their emails.

I've emailed them like they keep telling everyone but the email address doesn't exist. SCAM they stole my money

They’ve never forwarded our debtors’…

They’ve never forwarded our debtors’ payments to us under different excuses. No reports/updates on the active cases. Now they are striking off on the companies house. It looks like we were conned and we’ll never see our money back. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Taken money but not provided any…

Taken money but not provided any services , not responded to the complaint . If the company went on liquidation in June 2024 but they are still allowed to take money from people bank till 06th Jan 2025 , and they name been recommended through Bark .com .

Please read before attempting to work with this company.

I am writing to address the serious issues I have encountered with this company.

Three years ago, I faced significant mistreatment from my employer, a situation that affected not only me but others as well. At that time, I had just given birth, and the abuse I experienced drove me to the brink of despair, I tried to end my life twice and needed years of psycological support and medication. With the unwavering support of my partner, a solicitor, I mustered the courage to take legal action against the owner of the company. The court ruled in my favor, ordering the owner to pay nearly £10,000, with £3,000 designated for damages.

After a year of waiting for the payment, I engaged this company to assist in recovering the money. I paid an initial fee of £390, with a clear promise (which is recorded) that this amount would be refunded to me once the matter was resolved. Unfortunately, the company took an entire year to trace the individual responsible. Unsurprisingly, the respondent was evading payment by frequently relocating. Even then, I had to chase Swift Resolution for updates; I did not receive any proactive communication.

After lodging a formal complaint due to their inadequate communication (which is also recorded), I was appalled to receive an email meant for another client from my case handler. This was a blatant breach of data protection. I later received a call from a new case handler, as my previous one had left without any notice, who advised me to delete that email.

Despite my continued follow-ups, it took an excessive amount of time to receive all correspondence from the respondent and the HCC agents. The materials received contained highly sensitive information, including medical reports and the respondent's stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Accessing this private medical information made me deeply uncomfortable and distressed.

Subsequently, my case handler went months without providing any updates or clarity on my situation. No one explained what was happening or what options were available to me. While I can empathize with the respondent's illness, I am also dealing with my own challenges, and I am still owed £10,000! I refuse to drop my claim simply because the individual responsible for nearly destroying my life is unwell. It is incomprehensible to expect that of me.

After more than five months of relentless inquiries, I discovered online complaints indicating that this company had ceased trading. I was not informed of this critical development, nor was I told that my case had been abandoned until I took the initiative to write this review. Following this, I received a call from Richard Lloyd-Hughes, representing the company, in which he verbally abused me and told me to "f*** off." Thankfully, this call was recorded and will be reported to the police.

Swift Resolution decided to respond to my review by writing two reviews that included my personal information—specifically, my name, surname, and place of residence. This action not only raises serious concerns about data protection but also demonstrates a blatant disregard for the potential harm they could inflict on me and my family. Moreover, while the identity of the managing director is accessible in the case directory and available to the public, it does not justify the reckless use of my private information in this manner. This will be brought up in my case with the police too.

This is my account of the situation, and I hope that it be taken seriously. I encourage readers to consider my experience carefully before deciding to engage this company. If anyone requires proof or further details, I am more than willing to provide it via email.

So our last two replies have been removed, it would appear it's fair game for the reviewer to name our director personally however we cannot name them?

This particular client - has their knickers in a twist because we won't enforce a CCJ against someone who has stage 4 Metastatic Cancer, for which they have provided medical evidence and of their suicidal thoughts.

What sort specimen must you be to take issue with this and yes, i gave her a piece of my mind with some very colourful language.

This company has held on to my money for 6 months now!!
I employed them over a year ago to recover a debt. The person owing me money paid in full in June. Since then I have have excuse after excuse about why they will not pay me the thousands they are illegally holding of mine.
Because of this I have had to borrow, cancel urgent home repairs and get further in debt. This is all in addition to how it has affected my health. It has made me ill.
I have now had to take legal advice and taking further action.

Terrible company without morals

Long story short, after a fairly lack lustre experience with Swift my debtor finally paid in full on 31st August purely because they wanted the CCJ removed. Lots of back and forth ensued and I was then told I would have to wait until 6th December for my payment due to anti money laundering/ charge back prevention. Then told it was due to the company ‘winding up’ before Christmas but to ‘rest assured’ I would be paid and would hear from the accounts team. I pointed out this was a breach of contract as the limit was 90 days, I was told the company was changing to only handle corporate cases but I would be paid.

Called several times on 6th December to no avail trying to find out where my money is.

To now see the company stating they are going into administration I now feel totally defrauded and have gone from having my money withheld by my debtor to having that money stolen by the company enlisted to recover it is just shameful.

I will be taking this further and hope to resolve it through any Avenue possible.

Romance Scam Right from the start,Swifts were…

Right from the start,Swifts were brilliant...my debt was from a Romance Scammer so the implications were quite different ..
Kate was great, so helpful and reassuring.
My papers were looked at and put in order ready for the Court. I won the case and the debt was paid immediately.
Without Swifts support I would have thrown in the towel at the start.

Great Service in a shark filled industry

Excellent Service from Swift.
I merely wanted a trace. I had engaged another Company to do this who after 6 months told me my debtor must be either Dead, Moved Abroad or changed her name.
I responded to a Swift email and had the address next day...
