Luxury watch purchase - great experience
I was looking for a certain type of watch and found that Swiss watches direct could get hold of it, my experience from start to finish was exceptional. Everything explained and even told to have think about it and come back. I really appreciated the guidance and not rush me in buying a luxury watch. They sourced the exact watch I wanted for my wife and had it delivered well in advance of the date I told them it was needed.

I ordered a watch paid the deposit
I ordered a watch paid the deposit. Sadly, due to personal reasons, I could no longer afford the watch. They charged me a restocking FEE of £115 . even though I hadn’t received the watch. It’s illegal to charge a restocking fee in the UK but they get around it by calling the item bespoke. When it is clearly an off the shelf item with nothing bespoke about it. They hadn’t even received the item themselves. I do understand they have a business to run, but I was grieving and not in a good place to be dealing with this incident at all.

We are sorry that this customer could not complete their order. This review raises a very important point when ordering from us. We are very transparent regarding the commitment we require to enable us to provide such large savings on brand-new watches. Everything is clearly explained by email which customers need to reply to before we can fully process their order.
Following their instructions to cancel, we explained that normally that would not be possible. However, due to their personal situation, we made an exception and allowed the cancellation with a 10% restocking fee. Furthermore, we offered them a refund of that stocking fee if we found a customer for their watch within three months. This time period has yet to expire.
Please note that this 1 star review has no reflection on the watches we provide as they never received it, nor the value for money that we offer our customers.

Price good, delivery good, know what you want
Price good, delivery prompt - watch delivered as ordered. One point to note this isn't a high street shop before they despatch you have to sign that you will only return if it is faulty. So choose well before you order!
