Hubby has always wanted a Chesterfield and after a back injury he was finding our old suite uncomfortable , I agreed he could have one if we found a comfortable one so I went on a mission to find the very one .
SW James claimed to make the most comfortable chesterfield, contact was made with Warren and we visited the showroom in April. What a pleasant surprise the claim was true the Huxley is a very comfy sofa. We ordered it in August and it was delivered the first week in October. The service and regular updates along the way have been second to none from Warren .
The delivery went smoothly too .
We are over the moon with it , no more back issues for hubby and our Dobermann approves too .

From first contact the communication and overall experience was excellent. Definitely worth making an appointment and visiting the showroom and actually seeing the furniture and the quality hides that they use. Also being able to put your individual stamp on your chosen pieces means that you finish with something individual to you. We are delighted with our furniture.

Wonderful service. Fantastic sofas. I purchased a four seater sofa along with two wingback chairs and a footstool from SW James more than a year ago. I am fantastically happy with the quality and comfort each piece brings. My daughter clumsily stepped on the footstool with chunky boots on and tore the leather underneath a button. I emailed Warren and explained the situation and he was so helpful in getting this tear fixed that I am beyond happy. I would buy from SW James again and again because of the service, quality and now the after care service I received. What a wonderful company.

We were looking for a chesterfield sofa & we’re very Lucky to find SWJames, we spoke with Warren over the phone & travelled up to Bollington to meet and view all his fabulous sofas in his showroom, situated by the wonderful historic mill setting
Warren talked us through all the details of how the sofas were made & materials used, he was fabulous & we decided on the Huxley & footstool, Warren also custom made them so they would fit well for our needs and room
Warren kept us up to date with how the build was going throughout the process
On delivery we had a small problem, which Warren sorted straight away & Neil his colleague travelled to us to look at the problem
No quibbles at all & our beloved sofa returned to the warehouse & was sorted immediately
Neil & Jaimie delivered our sofa back to us two days later & we’re absolutely fantastic!!!
We are in love with our Huxley, Neil talked me through the best way to care for the leather!
He was a star

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish and an absolutely beautiful sofa in our home now. It actually arrived with a few scratches on the feet, the company sent some new ones right away and a care kit free of charge as an apology. Cant get much better service than that! Brilliant communications throughout and really happy to do everything to suit you. A wonderful company to deal with.

When you buy on the internet you never know quite what to expect but in this case I certainly found the quality workmanship that I was looking for. They make bespoke & so I had to wait a while for the finished product but they kept in touch regarding progress which was nice.. I mean normally you place an order on the internet & then don't hear anything until an E-Mail to say dispatched.

Great company to deal with, they made our purchase exactly as we requested with exceptional quality.

Amazing service. The quality of the sofas are outstanding beautiful leather and look amazing. I would definitely recommend this company.
I even had a problem where my dog scratched the seat pad.
The company went out of there way to help and replace the seat pad.

S W James handled the manufacture and delivery very professionally and we were given regular updates. Quality furniture that will last for years.

Warren, and the SW James team has been really helpful, giving clear advice on sizes and styles, sending out as many samples as I required and being patient enough to not hassle in an overall buying experience that took me 12mnths to complete the decoration in my hall and settle on the choice of leather. The sofa (Sterling) is now in place against a paneled wall and looks super.

The customer service was impeccable. We had weekly updates on progress made with the sofas. When the sofas got delivered, they looked so lovely and were very comfortable.

We ordered a fairly large corner sofa , chair and two footstools and the process was pretty straightforwards. SWJames are really professional and make their sofas with old fashioned British quality. We're really pleased to have found them. The sofa and chair are very comfortable and feel like they will last forever.

The process was great from start to finish. Warren was very attentive and understood our needs completely. He kept us informed of progress every step of the way. We are absolutely delighted with our sofas and we would recommend to others.

We had a great experience from SW James from the first moment we went to the showroom right up until the footstool was delivered. Warren was great and so knowledgeable and he never made us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. He went through every product in every detail possible and never put any pressure on us to do a sale there and then. We ended up ordering our footstool online a few weeks later and were kept up to date with weekly emails as to how they were getting on. Warren and team have provided an amazing, professional and tailored service in producing my Chesterfield sofa and chair set - I'm a new home owner and truly appreciated their advice on optimal sizing and colour. In the end I went for a customised 4-seater Huxley with studding applied and I'm very pleased with the results as its elevated my living space entirely.

The entire process was quick and hassle-free too. Pricing was also great when considering value based on such high quality in the workmanship and leather vs other options on the high street which won't last over time.

After many disappointing store sofas, we were looking for more quality and longevity. SW James stood out immediately. They promote their Trustpilot reviews front and centre on their website for good reason. Their commitment to customer service is exemplary. This persuaded us to take a leap of faith without visiting the showroom.

Warren guided us through the whole process from our first phone conversation to delivery. He was always available, offering friendly, expert advice at each stage. He provided a flawless concierge service from start to finish. Regular updates kept us in the loop during the build. We even got an introduction to the craftsman building our furniture, which was a lovely touch.

We ordered a Huxley Snuggler and bespoke three seater. The quality is outstanding. The furniture lifts the look and feel of our living room. These are our first Chesterfields and we could not be happier. We are so impressed that we have ordered an additional two seater for our downstairs den.
