I paid just over £5,000 for kitchen upgrades in my new build and assumed that choosing an integrated kitchen would include integrated storage solutions. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.
It’s a small kitchen with two corner cupboards that have a huge amount of wasted space. These areas are essentially unusable, which really should have been thought through better in the design. I even had someone from Symphony come out, only to be told that nothing could be done. My developer also passed on that if I want to change it, I would need to pay to have the kitchen redesigned. I never had a say in the design in the first place, only the colours/countertops, but I didn’t expect something that is clearly not fit for purpose.
For the amount paid, it’s frankly unacceptable that these cupboards are not fit for purpose. I can’t even fit a normal-sized frying pan through the door without twisting it on its side, and my wok doesn’t fit in any of the cupboards at all. I’ve had to store it in my utility room. At no point during the process was it explained that the corner cupboards would not include integrated storage solutions, despite the expensive upgrades I was paying for. The door opening also isn’t wide enough for me to purchase inserts from, for example, Ikea. There’s nothing that will fit in this space to make it usable past the tiny front section of the cupboard.
I also had an issue with the laminate peeling on my freezer door. To their credit, this was replaced without any problem and I was told it was unusual. However, after reading reviews here, it seems this may actually be a fairly common issue with the unit doors, and I do worry about it happening to others over time.

I thought Morley went above and beyond to explain the workings of the closer mechanism. He was patient and professional.

I only give 5* because of a great technician working for symphony group - Michael Sutton. He was fixing what kitchen installers messed up and then another technician made it even worse trying to fix it. I could end up with a cabinet falling of the wall because it was literally hanging on tiny screws in the gap between plasterboard and the solid wall. The quality of the cabinets is very poor, installation by a fitter even poorer. Only Michael showed professional work and skill. He knew exactly how to fix the problem without damaging adjacent cabinets (which happened before with the other technician). Symphony, you deserve 1star for the quality, prices and the services. Micheal Sutton saved your rating. 5 star is for that man!

Ordering some new cabinets for my existing Symphony kitchen had me a bit nervous at first, as I was designing, measuring, and fitting everything myself. I did not have worry. Their process for choosing cabinets, colours, fixtures, and fittings is as straightforward as it gets.
Once I’d made my selections, I called to place the order and was looked after by Michelle Spink, who handled both the call and the follow‑up emails. She checked everything for me, matching colours, handles, and even pointing out a few additional items I hadn’t considered.
Michelle was always on hand to answer questions, going above and beyond throughout the whole process.
Delivery was exactly when promised, on time and brought right into the kitchen ready for me to fit. I won’t mention the moment I thought a door wasn’t straight… only to realise I hadn’t turned the right screw before emailing Michelle about it. Definitely not mentioning that bit.
From start to finish, the whole experience was flawless. It was a breath of fresh air ordering from this company, and I’m already planning the next stage of my kitchen.
An outstanding company to work with , and Michelle, if you see this, thank you. You made the whole thing so much easier.

The fitter, Mick Sacre, was very polite and professional and did a great job. The company have on 2 occasions been out to address issues with faulty doors, without any problem or complaint, which hasn't been the case with some companies we've dealt with recently.
Good service.
