I've reserved a car online and paid for it, with immediately automatic reply from Sytner and my bank.
I received a call 15 minutes later. When requesting more information about the car, a "Manager" told the salesman the car was being sold in the shop and my reserve had no importance, as I was a cash buyer.
The “deal” informed by the “manager” did not go ahead and they call me back, I demanded written guarantee the car would be reserved for me.
No return call and the car still remains, on their website, open for new "reservations" !!!
Simply dishonest and uncommitted people.
Keep your distance.
SYTNER ONLINE RESERVATION IS JUST A SCAM !!

Service was efficient although when I collected the car, the chap who was looking after me had gone. The chap who gave me the keys said that he would call me the following day. He didn’t. I was interested in extending my warranty (I have subsequently done this online) and upgrading my satnav.
Keaton looks after any matters I have and does a wonderful job, a credit to the organisation.
The only issues I have are a manufacturing problem and beyond Keatons control, albeit he does his very best to navigate the situation to a satisfactory conclusion.

I purchased a New Flying Spur saloon from Bentley Manchester in August 2021 with a mileage of 2350. To-date the car has less than 10,000 miles and has been regularly serviced by them. They also serviced my previous Flying Spur over a period of 8 years without problems.
In October 2023 all power to the vehicle was lost. Bentley had the car for 5 weeks, were unable to provide a courtesy car, and on return I was informed the problem was the failure of the main control board, which was replaced.
In February 2024 I again lost all power to the car and it was returned to Bentley. Following replacement of the main control board again and after final quality checks the car failed a third time whilst being returned to my home.
At this stage the problem was identified as water ingress due to the plenum drains being blocked by leaves. Bentley implied that the problem was caused by where the vehicle is parked, which is on a driveway alongside a garden with mature trees. This is far from being a unique location. I had never had an issue with my previous Flying Spur or my wife's car over the previous 14 years at this location.
Only after the 3rd failure was I told of the root cause of the problem. Prior to this there was no mention of plenum drains being blocked, of water damage, or the catastrophic consequences this could have when driving. Bentley failed and admitted to not providing cautionary advice.
Bentley Crewe's response was that to avoid the electrical system being compromised regular maintenance should be completed. To access the plenum drain requires the removal of a rubber seal in the engine compartment and the unscrewing of the cover to clean out the drain. There is no mention of this in the owner's handbook.
The car is hand washed on a regular basis and the area between the bonnet and windscreen is jet washed as part of the cleaning process. Bentley's solution was to offer a car cover but almost 9 months on this has not transpired.
A current Bentley senior engineer has openly admitted that the problem is due to a design fault and if not highlighted could be a danger to other drivers.
Bentley Manchester have failed to respond to my recent emails which have been copied to the Managing Director Jon Crossley. I can only assume why.
This is a case of sales before safety and an accident waiting to happen.
