James McKeown - Great customer service
I have know Sales Executive James McKeown since 2016 when I purchased a Boxster 981 GTS from him. James’ help, enthusiasm and font of all knowledge has only got better like a fine wine since then.
I’ve just picked up my second Macan GTS from James and his attention to detail is second to none. Although this is my second Macan and having done a fair amount of research myself over options on the Porsche configurator, James still took the time to run through with me everything I had specced to make sure it suited my needs and made suggestions on possible alternatives.
Once again he certainly exceeded all expectations and really is a credit to Porsche Chester.
After all of this, it was almost an anticlimax when I picked up the car yesterday, however, in the words of Arnie…...……..I’ll be back!!

Collected my new Porsche cayenne today
Collected my new Porsche cayenne today. All went smoothly from initial visit to showroom to collection. Before ordering I went to another Porsche showroom nearer to me but just didn’t get the same confidence as I received from James in Chester. James kept me informed all along the way with some nice touches like off road in Bala and Porsche experience at Silverstone, very much appreciated. My wife, daughter and grandson accompanied me to collect car today and were greeted with open arms and respect. I run a small business and know the public are very quick to complain and criticise but can be slow to praise hard work and excellent customer service. Knowledge of product
The attention to detail that James McKeown showed me when putting together the order for my new car was second to none. He actively listened to my requirements and quizzed me about my driving style . He arranged numerous test drives for me ensuring that each car had the spec I was looking to critique - he then gave his honest appraisal of what would be my perfect combination of extras. His knowledge of Porsche cars is quite frankly amazing.
I've had my car a few days now and without doubt he got everything right - its perfect!

Chester Porsche were very professional and helpful. In particular James McKeown who dealt with me was extremely patient and ensured my purchase went smoothly. Fantastic customer service
Josh was a pleasure to work with from my initial tel call, throughout the purchasing process until we collected it a week later. Porsche kindly booked us a hotel the night before as we had to drive up from London.
Josh made the handover experience of the Panamera very special with the car under cover until we pulled it off for 'the reveal'. It was such fun! This was the first time we'd seen the car we were buying (other than on the video that Josh sent us). The presentation of various extras that we were given were great and we felt like valued customers (which we didn't particularly feel at the Porsche dealer near where we live...). I would definitely recommend this dealership and Josh in particular

rediculous Taycan servicing costs...
Where can I start, message for a quote for a Taycan 20000 mile service and receive a ludicrous email telling me its just over £1400.
Now I know this service is harmonised across Europe at 300 euros, so what is going on?
A challenge to the service advisor and I find that they have added around £800 of 'optional' work to check drainage channels on the car, something that Porsche confirm to me is not a mandatory part of the service schedule. I even have a cost for cleaning the sunroof service channels when my car has a fixed panoramic roof without drainage).
When I challenge this I am told that I may invalidate my warranty if I do have this done, what a ludicrous comment. Such a shame and what can only be construed as trying to take customers for a ride worrrying them into being ripped off.
Now booked in with another porsche centre for over £900 less. What a joke and such a shame they feel they can abuse customers to this extent.
No other dealer I called tried the same rip off tactics and I phoned 4 in the UK and one in N Ireland.
Review dropped after Porsche Chester response as they didnt once mention until pushed that the major part of my quote was only 'recommended' Search online at the numebr of reports of taycan customers being overcharged if they werent aware of these tactics.

Upon investigating this particular matter it is my understanding that a service charge is £555.34 at our Centre. The additional costs associated with your particular quote were due to Porsche advisable, drainage checks.
In alignment with Porsche's advice, our service team include these additional service checks within all quotes, as without these checks a customer would not be covered under their warranty if any issues associated with drainage were to occur or be discovered at a later date.
Apologies if you were not satisfied with this quotation process, however our Centre is following Porsche guidelines, and we must do so to ensure every customer makes informed decisions and have a full understanding of the service advisories.

Porsche Chester - excellent service by Tom
Visited Porsche Chester on 18/1/24. Had an appointment with Tom who was excellent.
Took his time to understand what I was interested in, arranged for a test drive and answered all my questions.
In the end, the [used] car spec wasn’t quite what I wanted, but I would recommend Tom and Porsche Chester.
Completely different to Crewe Audi who couldn’t have been less interested.

Porsche Chester exceeded my expectations
Porsche Chester were excellent throughout all stages and especially the handover day. Josh was very knowledgeable and took the time to present the car in detail and nothing was too much trouble. It’s the customer service that keeps me coming back

Excellent service, a great experience
Having driven a Range Rover for the past 3 years, we chose to swap to Porsche, after a particularly unpleasant service experience with the Land Rover dealership.
