My experiences of Porsche Solihull has always been poor.
I would have thought by now customer care would have improved, but again it fell short.
Porsche didn’t ring me to book in my car for a tracker code installation as promised, I had to come in myself to get it sorted and even then they moaned that they couldn’t guarantee it would be done!!, really a 5-10 min job that cost me £141 and you still made out you were doing me a favour!!!!
Please don’t get upset about my review because if you don’t like then don’t ask for them or even better still improve your customer care and service.
Take this as constructive criticism and don’t cry into your cup of latte that the criticism was unfair.

I recently purchased a 911 (992.1) GTS from Porsche Solihull and wanted to highlight the exceptional service I received.
Sam was outstanding from start to finish incredibly knowledgeable, personable and genuinely committed to helping. His proactive approach made all the difference; given the exceptionally high demand for this model, he ensured I was able to secure the vehicle by contacting me directly so I could reserve it in time. That level of attentiveness really stood out.
On the day of the sale, both Sam Jepson and Nick Sheldon were excellent. They took the time to clearly explain the financing options and worked diligently to achieve a fantastic price for my MINI. It was evident they went above and beyond, leveraging their extensive network within the group to secure the best possible deal.
The car itself was immaculately presented, and Sam took great care in walking me through its features, sharing practical tips tailored to how I’ll be using the car. His attention to detail and customer focus were first-class.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Porsche Solihull and especially Sam for the outstanding, professional and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Ignoring My Concerns
Had a problem with my winter wheel swop over for my summer wheels.
I identified fresh damage to the wheels but they pointed to old marks and said it wasn’t their problem. I responded with photographs taken on the day the wheels were taken off. These showed old marks but not new ones and i asked them to look into it as i thought the fresh marks had been done while in their care. As of today i haven’t had a despise which has been over two weeks.
In my view ignoring this request is very poor customer relations protocol.

Only downside for me was a quote for a water pump replacement which wasn’t required .. fifteen hours at almost £4500 .. the water pump was replaced a few years back under warranty. The staining on components was from the previous leaks .. from original water pump. It takes six hours to replace a water pump on this car and the part costs £300 ..
£4500.00 is way over the top . Maybe it’s time for porsche to offer a fixed price repair ??? I respect the brand the only aspect which will drive me away from it is the dealership maintenance costs it’s the “ PORSCHE TAX “! hopefully something to take on board .
