Amazing Service and People
From my initial enquiry with Mohammad to picking up the car with Jacob, my experience with Sytner has been amazing. Mohammad was able to handle all of my queries really well, and gave me ample information that helped make my choice easier.
I cannot recommend Mohammad, Jacob and the whole of Sytner Cardiff enough. The service they provide is some of the best I’ve ever received.
Also a shout out to Summer who came to pick me up from the train station and drove me to the dealership.

My experience with Synter Select was great thanks to Joga
My experience with Synter Select was extremely pleasant and fluid thanks to the help of the gentleman looking after us Joga Singh. We ended up walking away with a new Jeep which was down to the very helpful information provided, fun test drive of the jeep which gave Joga more time to tell us about the cars features and gadgets which was very welcome. He even stayed past the dealerships closing time to finalise the deal and present us with all the options available. Not only did we walk away with a lovely new car but felt the process couldn’t have gone any smoother. Extremely satisfied and Joga deserves the praise for his hard work, kind nature and working late to see we were taken care of.

Rejected a defective 2023 vehicle within 24 hours – Dealer refusing statutory rights
I collected a nearly new 2023 Ford Focus ST from Sytner Select Cardiff. The handover was rushed with no vehicle walk-around provided. Within 24 hours, the vehicle manifested multiple significant defects: a severe engine misfire/idle hunt on cold starts, an undisclosed body dent on the boot lid, a prominent structural rattle from the panoramic sunroof, and heavy mechanical clunking from the drivetrain during load changes.
I exercised my statutory Short-Term Right to Reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 within 24 hours, returned the vehicle immediately to preserve its condition, and left it on their premises.
Sytner's workshop inspected the car and verbally confirmed to me that the structural roof rattle, the body damage, and the mechanical drivetrain clunking are all physically present on the vehicle. Unbelievably, they have logged a conclusion of "no fault identified" to commercially shield themselves, claiming these verified defects are "normal characteristics."
When I tried to discuss this with Sales Manager Les Berry, he aggressively claimed I had simply "changed my mind," refused to honor my statutory consumer rights.
The vehicle remains rejected on their forecourt. A formal dispute has been raised directly with Black Horse finance to completely unwind the agreement. Absolute textbook example of appalling post-sale customer care. Avoid this dealership.
