The worst car buying/ownership…
The worst car buying/ownership experience ive ever had, found what i thought to be a good deal on a 19 plate Land Rover discovery sport with 47 thousand miles. Paid for the car in full, collected it an drove it home, the very same night it had a engine management light come on. I was covered under 3 month warranty so was advised to find a VAT registered garage to diagnose, turned out to be a DPF/EGR fault. Was then asked by sytner to get an estimate done, which I did. Work was carried out to fix the fault, sytner stated 3-5 days before the work was paid for to the garage. 13 working days later this still hadn't been paid out. I had the garage questioning me an on my case for the amount which I had to consistently chase sytner for, then eventually made payment. 2 days after having the car back from the first fault, another fault occurred, humming from the back when turning left and right. I then phoned sytner again, they very reluctantly after 3 days of phoning an basically begging them, agreed to take it to my local land rover dealership. Where it stayed for 2 weeks, turned out to be a driveline fault, to do with the rear differential! Sytner we're very slow to deal with this fault, i chased land rover to find out what was going on, land rover then sent me a health report on the vehicle stating the brake pads on the front were om the verge of being dangerous, 2mm of depth. The car had done not even 150 miles of use. Even though it states on sytner select website they dont sell a car without atleast 4mm of brake pad depth. I then spent another 3 days arguing with aftersales they had sold me a car that was misadvertised. Out of 28 days owning this vehicle we got 4 days use from it. This car was for my pregnant partner with whom I have 3 kids with. I'd paid insurance on this car, tax. As we all do. Then find myself paying for ubers for my family to commute to school etc. After begging sytner they very reluctantly accepted my right to return. This is by far, the worst car buying/ownership experience of my entire life. I will make sure every single person I come across i will warn them against ever using this company. I will never even entertain looking at a vehicle that's had anything to do with them. For the love of God if you want to keep your sanity please avoid.

They did however clean it while we were waiting and reimbursed our charging bill as car wasn’t fully charged. But love the car and same was great with his service

Was greeted by Raks (Dave) and Matt at the waiting area, very helpful with getting everything up and running, wasn’t too long of a wait as we were then greeted by Ollie and he was extremely welcoming and sociable, led us to see my Audi TT for the first time and gave me all the time needed to get familiar with it. Excellent service across the board with all members we met today, would definitely recommend 100% 👍🏾
