I believe this is really bad practice and they should not be able to get away with holding onto peoples money four weeks after confirmation of a refund.
I placed my order with this company on the 21st of January and receive my confirmation as normal. Then I received Emails which said that I would have to pay import tax and VAT on this product and it would not be sent to me for six weeks. As there is a 10 day cool off period on the 27th of January I informed them that I no longer wish to purchase this item. I received a confirmation email on the 27th January that my refund would be issued and this was no problem.
I am still waiting for my refund onto my credit card and it is now the 28th of February. I have sent them numerous emails and I’ve been told that my payment is being processed and last week they said it would be this week that I would receive the refund.
I still have not received my refund on the 28th of February. This is terrible customer service and show no respect for people’s rights

As confirmed in our previous communication on January 27th, the order was cancelled within the cooling-off period and the refund was promptly initiated from our side. Once the refund is processed by us, the timing for the amount to appear on your credit card unfortunately depends on the banking system and the card provider, which can sometimes take several business days — and in some cases longer — to be fully reflected on the statement.
We have already confirmed that the refund procedure has been completed from our side. If the amount is not yet visible on your card, we kindly recommend checking with your card issuer, as they are able to track the transaction on their system.
Of course, if you need any additional confirmation or documentation of the refund transaction, we will be happy to provide it.

The £11 DHL handling fee is also charged directly by the courier for the customs clearance service and is not determined by us.

Great if you’re happy to wait a long time for delivery
I ordered two items that I really wanted but couldn’t find anywhere else on the internet in the colours I wanted. I found them at Tattahome. I read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering knowing that I’d be ordering from a company based in Italy and not the UK. I realised I would need to allow extra time for delivery. In the end I chased my order up twice, I got polite responses saying my order would take 4 weeks to get to them and then I would be notified by email when in turn it would be dispatched to me. I ordered on 26th December 2025 and received it on Tuesday 17th Feb. I was so happy to receive it. It was well packaged. They look great. Only grumble is lack of updates… I thought I’d been scammed at one point, if they’d been up front and said it would take 2 months to get to me I wouldn’t have been concerned. In the end I’m happy as I received my goods in perfect condition but if they’d been time critical (a gift) i’d have been a bit upset.

Easy site to use delivered on time only thing is it says on the site that there is no import charge for items under £135. I purchased a toaster for 113 and still had to pay the driver £38 import duty before it could be left with me

Regarding the charges, the £135 threshold applies only to goods value, and sometimes couriers may still apply VAT and customs clearance/handling fees, which are determined by the courier and local regulations and are unfortunately outside of our control.
Avoid- no item after 3 months and no refund
My order (pumpkin le creuset pot) had still not arrived three months after placing my order. When I asked about my order 4 weeks and 8 weeks after ordering i was told it would be sent soon. I am now trying to get a refund and keep being promised it will be sent but have not received that. i would avoid ordering from here. if i hadnt seen some postive reviews of items arriving, i would think this was a scam.

Only giving one star because I'm unable to give zero stars
My experience with Tattahome was truly terrible. I ordered a pumpkin style Le Creuset casserole dish as a Christmas present for my wife. I placed the order and paid in full on 19 November 2025. There was no indication on the website that the item was not in stock nor that there was any significant lead time on it. I heard nothing from Tattahome until I contacted them on 5 December for an update on my order. At that time, I was told that the order was scheduled for delivery to Tattahome's warehouse later the following week.
Needless to say, this delivery did not happen and no one from the company bothered to contact me to tell me that there had been further delays in my order. I only found out because I contacted them for an update - this was the start of a pattern: zero proactive communication from the company on the status of my order; I had to always contact them for an update, only to be told that there were further delays and the order would be delivered "soon".
The After Sales Manager at Tattahome was entirely unhelpful. There was no proactive communication and never any suggestion of any sort of compensation for the disruption caused - apart from when I was offered free delivery in return for not giving a negative review on Trustpilot! I declined this offer (bribe) as it is important that potential customers are aware of the poor service offered by Tattahome.
After weeks of having to contact the After Sales Manager almost daily for updates on my order, I eventually received a confirmation that the item was being shipped - nearly 11 weeks after I had placed the order and paid in full to Tattahome.
In addition to the confirmation of delivery, I also received an email saying that I needed to pay an additional £47 in import duty - as with the lead time on the order, this was not mentioned at any time when I placed the original order.
So, if you intend to use Tattahome, beware that there could be a significant lead time on the order you place and it could cost significantly more than advertised due to additional import duties. Also, if you have any cause for complaint, be prepared for frustration and know that there is no escalation process for complaints - the After Sales Manager is it.
