My new Tattletale alarm system works remarkably well! I am amazed at how quickly this device communicates through the cellular network and mobile app. The system is literally plug and play. I’m not a... See more

Things seem to work well

Things seem to work well, even though I have limited cell service at one location. Had some issues with false alarms from one unit I use all the time. They took care of it for me. I was having same issues with another unit which I only use when on vacation. Hope they take care of it.
Everybody does a good job, and answering service is prompt.

Happy with your service

First of all, we like to work with Andrew Kahn. If we can get to Andrew, we always know things will be done right.

You are getting SO MUCH BETTER than you were when you first started business!

The only thing I can say I'm not comfortable with is that you are inconsistent with follow up when I send in a customer change form. Sometimes I get an email confirming, and sometimes I don't. I would like to see this be a procedure that you do every time there is a change.

Thanks,

Mary Kay

no reservations now

Wow, when I mentioned my concern I was taken care of immediately with great respect and efficiency. I put my check in the mail that very day and renewed my confidence in this system.

My teachers are the ones that feel more secure with their fob around their neck. I feel more secure knowing the whole system is working. Thanks.

I wouldn't say inadequate experience with a lot of friction--- I would say a totally hands off approach with no follow through. I am customer TT15240 I received an invoice back in April for $600.00 no itemization of what the $600 was for. I didn't pay it yet, but I have not received a second invoice or a phone call. No one informed us that the service is turned off, the base is still lite up appearing to be working just fine. NO one has checked in to see if the contact list is in need of update. The form we use is not used anymore. There are no phone numbers to call. The sales person who sold me the unit is not contacting me. I am baffled.

Go paperless

The forms to suspend and activate units are a bit tedious. It would be nice if these could be done online or through the google platform.

Love the product but could use improvement

billing was rough when I extended my plan via a trade in deal with a new base unit. got several erroneous bills which support told me to just "ignore".

love the app functionality...when it works. at least once a week, I get an error trying to arm the alarm, saying it timed out. you can never tell what the status of the alarm will be when this happens, regardless of what the app says. sometimes it will be on and sometimes off.

weak Siren but works well.

The unit has come in very handy and gives me a sense of security when we are traveling around the country and going off on short excursions. It has worked very well as I set it up when we leave the camper, it will text me and email me if there's a problem, which I have tested many times before our trip across country, Fortunately I had not had anyone break into the RV to confirm that it worked out in the Real world.

When I first received the unit I called Tattletale's head office and a gentleman there help me set up the unit which was not only very helpful but very reassuring.

I also purchased a glass break as well as a motion sensor in the back bedroom area. Overall the unit is very easy to set up and easy to use. I purchased an additional Key Fob and showed my children and my wife how to activate and deactivate the unit, again its really easy to use.

The one issue I have with it is that the portable unit that I have does not have a loud audible siren nor does it have an option to purchase an exterior siren that I can hard wire onto the RV. My feeling is that if anyone was stupid enough to break in they wouldn't worry about rummaging through the camper as the unit doesn't make a lot of noise. It is true that I will notified me via text and email but if I am not getting service (Like hiking down the Grand Canyon) Then I will never be notified and the only fear the intruder has is the fear is this weak audible siren on the unit, which easily could be covered with a pillow. I'm sure there would be many ways that the intruder will mask the sound of the siren. This is the one big problem I have with this unit.

I did speak to customer service at Tattletale and they said that they are looking into producing something, if they get that I would give it a five star rating., because then it really will be achieving what most of us out in the camping world would want and that is a SUPER LOUD unit. If an intruder does break into your camper it will be such a loud siren, for the entire community to hear, that they will run for dear life.

I would recommend purchasing this portable unit just be aware of the week siren I guess something is better than nothing

Awesome company and product!

Awesome company and product!! Only a bit on the expensive side in comparison to other monthly fees from other monitoring companies. I wish it were closer to $20/month. However, the portability, along with it's remote accessibility of there units still makes it a better choice for flippers like me! : )

Great Customer Support

I have owned one commercial Tattletale system and I currently own two residential Tattletale systems for vacation rental homes. The systems seem to work as expected but I don't find the system logic or documentation to be particularly consumer friendly. For example I can assign simple names to sensors (e.g. Hallway) but if the alarm is triggered, the monitoring service will tell me I have a Zone 22 alarm. What does that mean? I have only recommended this product to friends who are tech savvy. The customer support is always very friendly and helpful.

Great product

I have absolutely no reservations about this company or products. I have been using them for about 4 years to monitor my pole barn which is quite a distance from my home. I have yet to have a failure of the system
