The sight of all the birds of prey held…

The sight of all the birds of prey held in small cages absolutely ruined our day, both my children and I were upset at seeing them barely having enough room to spread their wings never mind fly,it even said on some of the cages that they weren’t endangered so they weren’t there for any conservation or breeding reason,No it was for human entertainment but most people don’t support or want this, also a lot of the main rides were closed.

Rude, Ignorant & Dismissive

Rude, ignorant management! I was there last week with my 4 kids. 2 SN teenagers and an 8 and 10 year old. They would only issue 4 wristbands despite me having 2 SN teens with me. It was therefore useless and since they are unable to stand in regular lines due to sensory reasons, we had to request a refund and leave. The manager that 'took care' of this was EXTREMELY rude and condecending and spoke to me with nothing but contempt. I ended up with 4 upset kids and meltdowns for the rest of the day. If they consistently stuck to their so called policy of 1 carer to 1 person with additional needs, it would be one thing, but this is NOT the case. Will NEVER go there again

It's a No from me

Went to Tayto Park today at my daughters request as we hadn't been since before Covid. I was reluctant as I'd read bad reviews and the prices have gone up quite a bit. Got there early, place was busy. Queues were far too long for every ride. This was purely down to lack of staff. One staff member for each ride is not enough. Takes far too long getting people on and off the rides causing huge delays. Its frustrating because it could be easily rectified by just having one extra staff member for each ride. I don't mind queuing for the big popular rides but it's too much queuing for over an hour for nearly all rides. It's just money grabbing, disappointing because it was so good before.

DISGRACEFUL DISABILITY POLICY

DISGRACEFUL DISABILITY POLICY
Born with Spina Bifida, I was hoping to visit Tayto Park with my family this week. But because of a very obvious walking disability that limits my ability to queue for long periods of time, I would require the use of their "Queue Assistance Pass".
Upon contacting Tayto Park about this, I was informed that providing my blue mobility parking pass, my free travel pass, my disability allowance receipt and my very visible walking disability was not sufficient enough proof of my need for the Queue Assistance Pass and that they would require a letter from a doctor stating information of my disability. They said this is because not all disabilities are entitled to the pass as you must have something that makes it difficult to queue (which I clearly do). However, they accept an AsIAm card without a doctors letter. How is this any different from somebody with a very obvious mobility issue with a blue mobility parking pass?
Tayto Park have no right to request my private medical information in order to make their own medical assessment of my ability to queue. This is a major GDPR concern, not to mention hugely disrespectful of the privacy of disabled people!
Disneyland Paris accept the blue pass on its own as proof of disability for their priority pass.
Please share this information about Tayto Park. Their policy is an utter disgrace and needs to be upgraded to reflect the policies of other major European theme parks.
Their policy discriminates against certain disabilities and shows favoritism towards others.

I went to tayto park and I have…

I went to tayto park and I have lymphodema in my left arm after cancer. I didnt declare it as I don't see it as a disability. I was stopped going on a ride as they got medical staff up to have a look. Now it wasn't the stiloppi g it was how it was done. I was top of the queue and there was a gateway between us and the staff and she shouted many questions at me rather than co e over and take me aside in private. I was mortified and very angry and my family were very cross with how I was treated. I didn't want to make a fuss. But I did email after to explain this to only get a rude reply back from them. I won't be visiting this park again anytime soon. I have been to Thorpe Park and Universal Studios and Disney land. Never had any bother at all.

Bad experience

Bad experience, short staff, multiple rides have been stopped for maintenance after we waited in a queue a long time, we have been stuck in a roller-coaster for about 10 minutes and staff refused to provide any details about it.

We went to the santander experience and…

We went to the santa experience and it was excellent. With 4 children it was very stressful as you can imagine but fair play to the staff for their help and a big mention to Arthur and the other crew in the lodge. You made the day a memorable one.

Lines can be crazy

Lines can be crazy. The line for Viking Voyage was over 2 hours long! Cú Chulainn was great! The line flew and the ride itself was sooooo scary ( the drop is so so so steep and fun). You can tell all of the workers are taking Covid very seriously. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Really nice park - getting better every year.

Great offer when you visit, you have 30 days to return and your first visit gets deducted from the annual rate. Worthwhile if you visit the park more than twice a year.

Would suggest that they increase the staff for the activities with harnesses so the waiting time can be reduced.

Poor poor poor service

DON'T buy online tickets to Tayto in advance - if any issues and you can’t suddenly go - they WON’T refund you. No refunds, no date change, no call answered nor emails. In all these hard times when you can suddenly get Covid or else it’s just another form of robbery. Even plane tickets are refundable nowadays, but not Tayto Park! I just don’t have enough words to describe their poor service and predatory behavior toward their clients. Especially now, when every euro counts. If they don't have enough money to hire good customer support, maybe they don't have money for a park and rides maintenance either. And the rest think yourself.

Improper billing on my card

My daughter tried to buy tickets online but the card information provided was wrong. As a result, there was a message saying that the purchase was denied. Guess what? The card was still charged and no tickets were generated/provided.

The bookings office don't answer to calls or reply to emails (I've been trying to get ahold of them for 3 working days)

So far they completely ignored my requests and questions.

Tayto park will not honour tickets I got for a present.

My brother got me 6 tickets for Tayto park last year as a Christmas present. We had a tough year and were unable to use them due to personal reasons. I asked could I use them now but Tayto said no. the value was €150.

I explained our reason for not been in a position to use them. I just feel its unreasonable and unfair, Tayto Park have been paid and its no skin of their nose to honour the tickets.
