Tele 2 are by far the worst company I…

Tele 2 are by far the worst company I have had to deal with in my life!

For almost 7 weeks now they have put me through unnecessary stress - I have had to repeatedly chase them and explain over and over the situation.

In the beginning all I wanted was to contact them and to explain that my sons mother has passed away and that they both had mobile phone contracts connected to hers. So I asked what was needed for me to do to make sure their mobile phones would carry on working unaffected.

I felt confident after the initial conversation with Tele 2 that everything was under control, it seemed that I could easily just take over the contract that they had already been on, a simple change of details, of which I gave.

but things soon went wrong - to our surprise the boys phones stopped working when they flew home and upon landing in Sweden they found out that they had no connection -they had been switched of with out any notice or warning.

I called immediately to try to resolve the situation but was told that their phone and numbers where now locked and would not be opened for a minimum of 90 days ! - I asked if anything could be done, explained the need for this to work, and that we had contacted them earlier to make sure this exact thing would not happen. I was told no!

I persisted ...and here begins a long and stress-full series of conversations with many different TELE 2 operators, and in each one I have been told all kinds of different things.
The frustration grows even more when one tele 2 operator asks me if its ok if they talk to someone else and will call me back in 10 mins......

I called them back 5 hours later asking whats going on and why they didn't call me back as promised? no answer to that either.

Every time a repeat of the conversation, and every time the conclusion changes, different things were told to me repeatedly. It felt like they had my hands tied up and all I was doing was banging my head against the wall.

Over all I have had about 15 conversations and in everyone they have tested my patience to the extreme - I don't know what the problem really is at Telia 2 - is it a a bad system for the staff to use ? or is it a lack of staff training ?

Who knows - but what I do know is that they have made a simple task that should have been resolved in one call and turned it into a mess of a problem that has take 7 weeks to finalise.

In that time they have left my sons without phone connection when they needed it the most - no diabetes monitering for lewis and no connection when they flew home to Sweden from the UK.

Today I called again - The first conversation this morning had again no effect, I was left waiting for an answer then a few minutes after a received a message from Telia 2 to say they had received the latest paper work that I sent in last week, and so I call again - I repeat the whole story and after 20 minutes of questions, personal numbers, phone numbers etc I was told that a credit check had been made on me and that I could have one of the numbers but not both ! This really was the moment of falling down - I tried to reason with them that this was wrong and ludicrous - I asked her what I should do now as it seemed that there was nothing left to do ... She asked me to hold one more time, I did, and then a few minutes later she came back and said that it was ok now, that both numbers were released to me and that I was finally able to transfer them.....

What an absolute joke of an organisation - shame on you Telia 2! for putting me through this unnecessary stress, you have wasted my time and money (calling from the uk to try to resolve the situation)

I hope that anyone who is reading this who has Telia 2 as an operator seriously considers changing operator

I guess a lot of good stories have a bad guy and a good guy...

so let me introduce the hero in the story - 3.se

They have been great, friendly, understanding and no mixed info, it took just one call to solve everything, and they gave me a great deal too!
I really like there unlimited deal as it really works well for uk expats who go back often as (I believe) they are the only mobile operator that have a package that gives you unlimited gigs in Sweden and 60 gb per month in the uk (outside the eu) - they have also been very help full and easy to talk to.

If I could I would put 0 stars

The question is, what went right?
The first month in, I got a letter that said the price went up 50kr. Next time, why isn’t that price given initially. It’s like buying shoes and then you get a little letter saying, actually we want 20% more of the prices. The problem is from that month, I have not even payed that price because every goddamn month the price has been more, and I don’t even get why. On top of that, I got a packet that would provide me data all over Europe and last week I was in Croatia and it didn’t even work because télé2 thought I was in Bosnia Herzegovina which apparently isn’t in the European union. I am so mad.
Another reason I despise télé 2, was because when my brother passed away, they continued to charge him every month, and once we got around to dealing with those tasks, he had 3 months of unpaid fine, and télé 2 customer service insensitively would not dismiss those fine so we had to pay it, with the added insane interest. Awful.

DO NOT USE THEM! They are scamming company not mobile companies, they will be sued !!! They charge you much more then you should pay and their stuffs are cheating on you

When it comes to the payment of your mobile plan you pay one month in advance, however when you terminate your mobile plan your invoice will be deducted for the period that your subscription is no longer active. And I can see that your last invoice has been adjusted accordingly.

Expensive for the service it provides.

Tre offers basically the same at a much better price. Not worth keeping Tele2; I'll switch as soon as the binding period is over.
