They have no customer service that you…

They have no customer service that you can reach by Email. On their website its difficult to find how to reach them without first answering lots of questions. The result is frustration over an unavailable customer service. I ended my service with them, and without telling me, they would charge extra for that, the charged extra.

Don't sign any contract with them…

Don't sign any contract with them without reading all the conditions, they have a lot of hidden fees and you will end up paying much more than what you thought you will, they are theives but they do it legally because they know the law so watch out, once you sign a contract with them they make it almost impossible to get out without paying a lot of money.

They want me to pay for broadband they won't provide

Tele2 claims the port is "blocked" by another person's subscription at the same address and they won't provide the broadband I signed up for. At the same time they kindly inform me that they plan to keep invoicing me and that I no longer have the right to withdraw from the contract :)) How is it even legal? How can it be my responsibility to deal with another person's subscription?

ending a contract....

Early March 2021, a Dutch girl arrived at my small horse farm to stay and help me with the horses. She was supposed to stay 2 months. After 2 days, however, it turned out she was literally homesick, and she had used all the data from her Dutch mobile subscription within the shortest possible time. She wanted to get a Swedish sim card, had looked into the Swedish providers, and wanted a subscription with Tele2, a company also known in the Netherlands. So we went to Elgiganten in Ljungby and as she had no Swedish 'personsnummer', I took out the contract. The homesickness did not improve and she left after 2 weeks. I went back to the shop, explained the situation and asked them to terminate the contract. The guy working there offered to ‘pause’ the subscription for a year. If I would not reactivate it within that year, it would AUTOMATICALLY END after one year, he said. Because I expected some more guests from abroad during the summer months, I thought the contract might come in handy after all and went along with this suggestion. MUCH TO MY REGRET!
In May this year I received an invoice from Tele2 for 438 sek. Unfortunately, I check my mailbox not often enough (most invoices come by email nowadays) and it was already overdue. This meant that I had to pay this invoice, 'påminnelseavgift' plus the following invoice. I was not amused. This mounted up to nearly 900 sek for something I did not profit from or used. I called Tele2, explained the situation and asked for an explanation, and the client support agent said that this automatic termination could not possibly have been offered by Tele2 as they would never do such contracts. The only thing she could do was to end the contract immediately. That was on 28 June. So I considered the contract ended. Then I went back to Elgiganten to ask how this could have happened. Was the contract not supposed to terminate AUTOMATICALLY? This was denied by the salesperson. He would not ever have said that as only prepaid subscriptions would be terminated automatically. Prepaid? This was never mentioned a year earlier - that I am very sure off as we never discussed prepaid simcards. I received a 'tillgodo card' charged with 400 sek, less than half of the money that I had paid by then to Tele2, so I was not very pleased, but considered the case settled and done and did not want to ponder over it much longer.
Then by the end of August yet another unpleasant surprise, as I received again an invoice from Tele2, this time 498 sek. I hit the roof and checked the email with the confirmation that the contract was ended. It had indeed been ended, however not on the day that I spoke with the client support agent, which was 28 June, but they made me pay another month, plus 'påminnelse avgift', as I had thrown away the previous Tele2 envelope with the original invoice, thinking that the contract had been ended.
So thanks to Elgiganten and Tele2, I paid nearly 1500 sek (!!!) for something that I never used. I can think of a lot of other fun things to do with such an amount. This is not small pocket money for me!
One thing is very clear: a very BIG THUMB DOWN for both Elgiganten and Tele2. By now I spent the 400 sek 'tillgodo' and that was the last thing I will ever spend in Elgiganten. As far as Tele2, I will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

Failing support agents

Placed an order for Fibre Internet via Bredband2. They told me Tele2 has to activate the connection. Called Tele2. They tell me it will take up to 4 days, but they will SMS/E-mail me when it's done. I wait 5 days, and hear nothing. I call Tele2 again. They tell me it's been active since the day after I called them first. Ugh. Why did nobody notify me? It's a mystery!

Called Bredband2 again. They tell me that Tele2 has activated the connection, but it's marked as exclusive to Tele2. Call Tele2 again. They confirm this, but say it's no problem to unlock. WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME THIS THE FIRST TIMES I CALL YOU, when I SPECIFICALLY mentioned wanting to place an order with Bredband2. So many wasted hours in phone queues. A deep dislike of Tele2 has been cultivated.

Beware of Tele2! They work in mafia/gangster style

If you someone told me that this company was owned and run by mafias or gangsters, I would never object! I would believe then 100%. Why?
Because Tele2 has invoiced me and is demanding money for services that I have never used (internet services).
The address that is invoiced is my old address where I lived 3 years ago. It is absurd that 3 years later they invoice me and demand payment through a debt collector.
I am very disappointed in Tele2, and you can't even reach out to the right department to resolve such issues. It is clearly a gangster style of handling business!
Please be warned of this company! If you want internet get from Bahnhof or OwnIT

Useless customer service

Useless customer service. I orderered their broadband for 1st of August, there is a regret period. On the 5th/6th/7th and beyond I was trying, spending 4 hours per day ringing to try and cancel my subscription. I spoke to around 30 different people all who said they can't help me and that they will transfer me to a department that can help. And the next department kept saying the same... I asked then what department are you from? And they just ignore me, I keep asking and they put the phone down. I went to tele2 with router in hand asking to cancel my broadband they again said they can't but they will get someone to call me... no one called. Eventually after half a month of trying someone managed to put me through to the regret department who said I'm past the regret date - yea but i've been trying to cancel the last two weeks and if that isn't a regret what is? They can even see on my records I've been asking to cancel. But she wouldn't answer, I asked again what counts as a regret and they said look I can't help you and put the phone down. What a joke of a company.

Completely terrible!
They cannot help you with anything over the phone, but also don't allow you to resolve the issue in person, or over the email. Huge waiting times.

Good offer but nothing is working!!

Got a new contract with a good offer. Waited 4 days until my old number was transferred. Subscription should have started automatically. Nothing happened. Invoice has been sent directly for payment.
Tried several times to reach the customer service: unnecessary long authentication process and always +- 45 min. WHEN someone finally picked up, they could not help and transferred you somewhere else or referred to the shop. Drove 3x to the shop: first got an e-sim (not working), second got a physical e-sim (not working) and since both is not working, the shop said today (third time) that they cannot do anything and we should call the customer service, which is closed already for today….

Since my contract is for private and work phone I cannot work and NO ONE can help! All staff members just refer to one another. They force me to pay for NO SERVICE at all! Unbelievable and worst service ever!

Terrible customer service

Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. Their products are fine as long as you don't have to contact them. Always a 20+ minute waiting time to get through on the phone and you rarely get to the correct person the first time even though you select the right department in the first place.

this is a horrible company

this is a horrible company. I was over charged on my bill. the number they tell me to call is 90-222 does NOT WORK. It is a fake number. Then I had to search google for another number and I finally called it to and it took me 30 minutes on hold to get a person just to be sent to another person which was another 30 minutes on hold just to be sent back to the department I was on hold with the first time. it has now been 24 minutes on hold yet again even though the second guy said I was first in line. They over charge and do not answer their phones. I will be quiting this company and going to another company.

Charge us 45kr to telling us we have…

Charge us 45kr to telling us we have paid and owe them 0kr.
What a scam! They found a way to charge us 45kr when we owe them nothing!
We deposited 1000kr as told by Tele2, and they deduct our monthly payment, to avoid paper notice - we always have a credit. Owe them nothing!
Buuut! They mail us a paper invoice to tell us we owe them nothing. And they charge us 45kr for *that*.
What a joke! You can't escape - we've called to complain for 3 months. They *always* send the paper letter, so you'll always get charged. Do you see the trap?
They don't use Email!
What a mess up, and what a scam!!! AVOID Tele2.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. All services wifi and TV became very unstable after switching to what should have been a better speed over previous provider. Had to rent a TV bridge from them. TV still doesn't work using their equipment. Only works with the addition of a mesh system. No quality guarantees unless it is connected to the jack in the wall.... How many older homes can be retrofitted like that? Wifi in an average sized home should not be a struggle. Time spent with Tech support is useless. Yes, I have unplugged it all and restarted it. Same conversation over and over. No willingness to try to change out router or TV bridge. Want to cancel the contract. So angry with myself for leaving previous provider which worked trouble free but cost more.

I took over the services of a previous…

I took over the services of a previous owner in order to make everything as smooth as possible - thinking I could then cancel or downgrade to my needs. Don't ever make this mistake! Once you take over a service you will not be counted as a new customer, you will however be stuck with the services for 24 months with no way out. So although you technically are a new customer you will not get the benefit of being one. If I had not taken over the services I would have been able to choose based on my needs. There is no help from customer service. They simply do not care. You are just money to them.

In general I think the customer should have way more rights when it comes to these services. If there was an actual physical product I could understand, but since it is just a matter of turning off the services to Tele2 it makes zero sense. I will not recommend this company and I will end my services after the fixed rate period ends.
