No task for over 3 months
It’s been at least 3 months since I joined the TELUS Internet Safety Program and it has unfortunately taken me this long to finally realize that this is a waste of my time. Maybe I should’ve read reviews here before putting my hope in this program. For over 3 months, I haven’t had any task. Meanwhile, they’ve just kept assigning to me a series of lessons and quizzes covering the same topics despite my previous successful completions already showing that I’m ready for tasks.
I understand their intent to strengthen and check knowledge of their evaluators, but going in circle for over 3 months without any task to be paid for is too much uncertainty to deal with, especially in this economy where people are trying to rely on additional sources of income to stay afloat.
Best job I ever had
Best job I ever had. I've been working for TELUS Bulgaria for 2.5 years and I am very happy about it. My salary always comes on time and my performance is always appreciated. I have the best colleagues who are always supportive of me. I always reccomend the company to my friends and the ones who started working here are still working and growing. If you want a stable job with no experience needed, TELUS is your place.

Spam. They send invitation to you and after pass several test, like language proficiency. They would send a regret email to you.
SCAM, STAY AWAY!!
SCAM, fake company, they hire you, you work for them and IF they pay you something you have to wait months, or they straight up don't pay you at all!
Beware!!
Beware!!! Attended a retail item performance review application
Have not been paid ( probably won't be). They never reply
Lack of transparency and unstable pay structure
I worked remotely for this company for 6 months and initially appreciated the flexibility. However, over time, the experience declined significantly. The company changed its compensation model to a per-task rate without providing clear guidance on how tasks were classified or paid. Later, certain tasks were quietly downgraded to lower pay without any formal communication or justification. When I professionally asked for clarification, the volume of tasks assigned to me dropped significantly.
It feels like retaliation for simply asking questions. Tasks are now constantly "on and off," making it impossible to earn a stable income. I used to earn around $1200–$1500 a month working 20 hours a week, but recently I can barely reach $300. It feels like they are trying to force people to quit rather than firing them, likely to protect their reputation.
There is very little transparency regarding how work is evaluated, assigned, or compensated. Attempts to seek clarification are often ignored or met with vague responses. The lack of respect for workers’ time and effort was very discouraging.
If you are considering working here, be aware that while the flexibility can be appealing, the instability in compensation and lack of professional communication may outweigh the benefits in the long run.
Company EAP with Telus Health
Our company has EAP with Telus Health. Wrote to them with my life situation. While i was at the meeting, received 1.5 calls from Ireland (1 was cut in 5 secs, 2-couldn't answer). Received an email shortly after: sorry unable to reach you (like she had been trying for a week or so), please contact us on weekdays.
"Brain explosion". Not like all normal businesses - please email your availability and we will reach you within the indicated hours", nope, not at all
Also, i didn't try to order pizza over the phone, i wanted to talk to a specialist regarding personal issue and was hoping for Zoom? Teams? a bit of a personal approach, not a call center. So after that email i realized i didn't want their services.
better be homeless atp
this company is actual dogshit, you will be better off pickin up food from the trashcan and being homeless 🥀
Complete garbage company with…
Complete garbage company with incompetent and unethical people in their talent acquisition department. Two of them reached out to me from a job application. Zakir Cansever in Germany and Ekaterina Coutret in Ireland. Coutret emailed me a link to schedule and interview. After I scheduled it, that was the end. No further instructions came. There was nothing to indicate how the interview would take place, if I was to call or they were to call. I was proactive, and called both Cansever and Coutret more than a day before the scheduled interview. I also emailed them. None of my messages were answered. This is not how to conduct business, nor is this up for debate. If this is not what TELUS Digital believes in, then Zakir Cansever and Ekaterina Coutret should have their employment terminated immediately.
I have heard only bad things about this…
I have heard only bad things about this company from people working there, from Portugal to Bulgaria. Especially about the very low pay.
I applied nonetheless. Received invite for job interview right away, but they asked that I would include my salary expectation (which I already had).
I stated the lowest range possible, bec I knew they don't pay much. 2 hours later they replied that they weren't interested anymore, my lowest number was 20000 above their highest salary offer.
I asked back where the job could be located and if it was remote, - no reply. Their job description didn't say. The job showed up for me bec of my LinkedIn settings.
This was a leadership position and my CV obviously shows my education and experience, so their really bad application process management is really an insult.
Project Marvel - another scam by Telus AI
I am a Physics graduate, worked for Project Marvel and quit after 2 weeks.
At the end of these 2 weeks, I started having jobs reviewed - some of them with clear reasons for rejection, but at least half demonstrated either not having the necessary knowledge to assess the quality of the job (providing very general reasons for rejection) and/or simply rejecting for misleading reasons (eg. "question can be answered without image", when the question is directly related to the image).
Once I understood this, I immediately stopped working in the project (submitted a resignation). This happened a week ago, and yesterday got an e-mail "promoting" me to reviewer (if I had so many rejections - about 10% of the total jobs completed - why would they do that?)
Yesterday I got my first invoice. I worked 6.75 hours in the first fortnight of March. The pay was $32.75. The math is right: that's less than $5 an hour for qualified work. I don't live in Bangladesh, I live in Europe (Marvel rate is variable depeding on where you're based, so people in countries with lower average income will be paid less).
So, my question is... is this legit or is it a complete scam? What is your experience? I sent an e-mail to payroll requesting clarification, but gven that no one has ever replied to my emails, I'm not expecting a reply this time either.
Online Data Analyst Application Rejection Complaint
I applied to the Online Data Analyst position at Telus International. However, most likely because the hiring team has never experienced long-term unemployment or been let go from a job, they lack empathy for applicants who have experienced these tramatic events. Avoid applying to any role at this company because they have no morals and lost their way.

Bad Experience, Still Waiting For Payment.
I've been trying to get paid for my time spent doing training for months now. I was told before I started and also in writing that I would be paid for this time, but I still haven't been. They ignore my emails for weeks at a time, then respond telling me to email someone else who ignores my emails indefinitely.
On top of that, I was constantly running into issues with their tasks, system, and process which prevented me from actually completing the tasks. Most of my short time working for them was spent trying to troubleshoot or contact their support, who were not very helpful. However, they only pay you for time spent on completed tasks, and therefore most of my time working for them was unpaid.

Had an issue with my account and contacted support.
They didn't even read my email, sent a form response and then declared case closed. Absolute imbeciles.
Converting and translation project
I did a project of converting images to pdf and translated them. My project was rated 95% after being reviewed, so now they are saying that I must pay a fee to link my bank account for payment whereas they stated that they won't ask for security or insurance fee. I thought they were real until I came across the reviews ay it seems that they cannot be trusted.
No payment
Data submitted, accepted and never paid for. There were few emails with poor excuses and then crickets... Working for Telus is working for free. Not recommended.
Not replying to pay audio collection…
Not replying to pay audio collection projects. Dont work with them!
A Complete Scam Disguised as a Hiring Process
Took their rater exam — 3 parts, hours of reading, rating, and detailed evaluation work. I took it seriously, followed their guidelines to the letter, and submitted everything properly. Not even 5 minutes later, I got a generic rejection email. No feedback, no explanation, nothing. Just a canned response telling me I failed.
It’s painfully obvious that the process is either fully automated or arbitrarily filtered without any real review of your work. Based on how fast the rejection came, there’s no way a human reviewed anything. They don’t respect your time — they just use you as a number in a pipeline.
If you value your time, skills, or basic transparency in hiring, stay away from Telus International. The Trustpilot score speaks for itself — and now I know why it's 84% 1-star reviews.
Avoid this joke of a process unless you enjoy being ghosted by a robot after doing hours of unpaid work.
Scam, stay away!
As many others here have stated, it is a scam, save your time and don't apply for their jobs. I applied many times for the Greek language Internet Assessor and even though I passed the test, they rejected me. The ad is still up in LinkedIn, so what do they want?
