COMPLETE SCAM took 5 hours doing a part that was supposed to be 10 questions, i did about 90, finally was at the end of the book and there were no other parts like they said. It was a total scam that has wasyed a week of my life and its complete bull!
Very low salaries

DO NOT accept a job offer that pays you a lot for a task that Chatgpt could also do.
I found a job on Upwork that paid $3000 to translate essays. They contact me on telegram to get my details, I finish the job and approach the manager for payment. He tells me to contact the Financial Manager, who tells me to sign up on the Invertyn portal to receive payment. Of course I sign up, receive the money but in order to transfer it to my personal account I have to pay $200 for a PIN that will allow me to make the transaction (do I have to pay to get money? Yes=scam).
I pay $200 which they say "will be refunded to you immediately." So on the portal I get the famous 3000 + my 200.
I get the PIN and find out only after 3 attempts that the maximum I could transfer was 500 at a time. OBVIOUSLY they don't tell me, they lock my account on the portal, ask me for another $550 to unlock it only to find out that it is actually $550 + $800.
These last 800 ones I did not give him because I had no more money.

As a 'rater' I had to take 3 tests that took more or less a week to complete (studying + exams).
They implied I would get at least 10 hours work per week. In reality, I have gotten about 3 hours over 6 months.
I basically spent more hours checking whether there were new tasks available than actually completing tasks.
When I enquired to Telus I got a generic passive-aggressive response.
This is highly misleading and unethical after making candidates take 3 tests requiring hours of study for NO PAY.
Seems like a complete scam company that used me for unpaid work.

Horrible company
I decided to give Telus a try so I applied for the internet ad assessor position. Three weeks after sending the application (which included quite a long test in my native language), I received an email saying I got in. After a couple of days, I got another email regarding the exam. The email included two parts: one that gave some instructions for accessing an e-learning platform on which I should have checked the e-learning material in 48 hours and the other one, which provided access to the qualification exam platform. The email also stated that I had 7 days to complete the exam (that would have been by next Wednesday). I tried to log into the first platform, but I wasn't able to do so. I tried everything, including resetting the password. It didn't work. I filled out an incident form, which didn't return any confirmation. The next day, I emailed 2 members of the qualification team, from whom I received the initial emails with the instructions, explaining to them that I wasn't able to access the e-learning platform. That was last Thursday. Days went by and finally, they replied on Tuesday, saying I no longer needed to access the e-learning platform, as all the instructions I needed were on the exam platform and I could read them while completing the test. After their reply, I only had 1.5 days to complete the exam, which would have normally taken 7 days. I emailed them right back, asking if they could extend the deadline. Obviously, no response. I decided to start the exam and complete the first part. I accessed the platform, read the introductory part, which explained a few things about the exam (including that there was a break button that I could press to take breaks), and accessed the first task. By the time I read the instructions for the task, the task expired. Nowhere was mentioned that I needed to complete the tasks within a specific timeframe. The exam wasn't difficult, but I needed like 10 questions to understand the rating system and what I had to do. Obviously, I rated many tasks wrong because there was no clear explanation of what I was supposed to do. After like 35 tasks, I wanted to take a break to clear my mind. The break button was no longer available. Finally, after 47 tasks and nearly 3 hours, there it was. The break button along with the second part of the test. I read the instructions, which indicated that I needed my mobile in order to check an app and some Youtube links. I decided to take a break before starting the second part. So, I pressed the break button, and I googled to see how long the first exam was going to take. I didn't find any info about that, so I went back to the exam page. I pressed the "start a task" button, but everything went blank, saying I completed the exam. That was on Tuesday. Today is Thursday and I still don't know if I passed the exam. Yesterday, I received an email, saying they extended the deadline by 7 days. Irony? Ha-ha. I know how hard it is to find a decent remote job these days, especially if you don't live in the US. I have been looking for such a job for over a month now and everything I've found pays way too low. But this company is terrible. Even if they say I passed, I won't take the rest of the exam. That's because their system is full of glitches, and the support just isn't there when you need it.
Scam - stay away.
Scam, scam, scam!
They advertise an "Online Data Analyst" position on several job boards. I decided to apply to supplement my full time job. For context, I have been in data analytics for 4 years, have a master's degree, and numerous IT certifications.
After spending about a half hour on the assessment exam, I got an email that said I failed. OK, no worries, I'm human and make mistakes. They offered me a chance a week later to do the exam again. I spent another half hour or so trying their assessment exam (which had different questions this time).
Wouldn't you know, I failed again, AND their automated email said that they couldn't provide feedback on my results BUT I was welcome to try a third time.
This company is fishing for applicants to do their work for free. Do NOT apply or try their assessment exams, because it's all a scam.

hello guy
hello guy, is it possible to cancel the account? I received the job offer and created the account, and then I realized I needed to look deeper to see if this company was legit or not, and then I found this page where everyone was talking about their legitimacy. Did someone try to cancel the account?
IF you encounter problems, they will not help you. Don't waste your time with the assessments…
I have struggled with them since Dec 2 2023 to 01/2/2024. I did all the assessments they gave me and passed, but when it came to the final exam, the link that they gave me to sign into the exam was not working. I went back and forth trying to ask IT and exam support to help, but they kept repeating the same instructions, it doesn't seem like they knew what they were supposed to do, even after sending screenshots of my desktop. I wasted a lot of time for a very small pay, but still never got it.

HELP
Too dodgy-looking to even try
Came here because I signed up and it's now asking me to sign an agreement that is very strangely worded. Looks very dodgy. Most of it is in English, with one part in French for some unknown reason. I will not continue with registering based on this and also other reviews.
Scamers company
In 2023 I created an account and started getting WhatsApp messages from international phones offering job and asking to open bank's account for crypto. Scamers company from all over the world.
Incredibly sketchy
Incredibly sketchy, I saw when I went to make an account it said "Da ta" when talking about their privacy policy, that's when I looked up if it was legit. Glad I found this site, I knew my hunch was correct.
Scam against jobseekers
In line with others’ experiences.
I think they got my contact details from a jobsite online. I applied for a role and sent my CV but then nothing came of it.
Since then I’ve been getting other suspicious emails purporting to be from job agencies.
I’m guessing they use people’s CVs for identity theft. Steer clear.
