Just got to know Tenaquip I was looking…

Just got to know Tenaquip I was looking for some old caterpillar yellow paint whi h they had in stock and shipped very promptly I started to look around on there website and found they had a very wide variety of tools and safety equipment finished by buying a nice 60 gallon compressor from them also and I live 4 hours north of Montreal and the shipping was very very fair price I highly recommend Tenaquop excellent prices and customer service!

Good + ideas for improvement

Overall I have nothing bad to say.
This last order, one item did not have the total quantity in stock but I did receive enough very quickly until they replenish.

You need to be aware that the information on quantity per unit $sold is often missing in the item web page and it makes it impossible to calculate unit cost. When this happens, I simply go find a similar product at another supplier . I am sure I’m not the only buyer who does that.. and mostly because we have no time to contact your customer service and ask for the missing information, then wait for an answer… it’s even more true in your industry were products can be easily substituted.

As always, fast, efficient and helpful service!

I had an item that was back order which was taking longer than expected to receive. Normally we have no problem waiting a short time for out of stock items. Called customer service who promptly found an alternative, shipped immediately and received the very next day.
The customer service people know their stuff. Always friendly.
And the free shipping on minimum dollar value orders is appreciated.

We find Tenaquip easy to order from

We find Tenaquip easy to order from and they provide fast delivery.
One item we purchase is a specific brand of staple and we require them to be original brand as the knockoffs do not work in our equipment. Our local Tenaquip store makes sure they are available to us & we appreciate that level of customer service.

I was greeted in a very positive and…

I was greeted in a very positive and friendly manner and when I asked for a very inexpensive part I was shown the utmost courtesy and taken to where the product was and helped to obtain a piece of the item. I am very pleased with the service and I am planning on buying a chainsaw from this company as the manner in which I was received makes me want to support this local buisness.

Classic bait and switch with no help

Terrible experience! Classic bait and switch. I ordered harnesses based on photo's on their site. Waited 6 weeks to get something completely different. Emailed them pictures and they admitted that it was wrong. Sent me a quote for the pictured item. Price increased by 40%!! They would not give me any discount for the mistake and continued delay. Then sent me the wrong information to ship the wrong harnesses back. CS rep let slip that their call centre is super busy handling all the issues. Beware of these guys...

UPDATE: I was told someone would contact me regarding by experience shortly... That was 2 weeks ago. What a laughable company. At this point I just hope I don't get scammed out of my refund on the returned harnesses.

UPDATE 2: Laura from Tenaquip called me and was able to provide me with an offer to help make up for the experience. She was very apologetic and helpful. Unfortunately, we have decided to move ahead with a competitor.

There were a few minor issues with my…

There were a few minor issues with my order, but nothing which was not resolved in a friendly manner.
First, the pumps advertised on the web site were not available and it was necessary to choose a substitute (which appears to perform well).
Second, the pumps were not shipped to the address stipulated and we were obliged to courier them to the correct location.
Third, one of the pumps would not run due to a misallignment issue. I requested permission from the local manager to attempt to correct the problem. The manager agreed and I was able to successfully repair it.
