Staff are always friendly and helpful
Staff are always friendly and helpful. We had been running late for our booking and the lady at check in rearranged all of our bookings so we didn't miss out on any time. I hadn't asked her to she was just so understanding and helpful.

Perspective of someone with autism…
From the perspective of someone with autism visiting Tenpin for the first time: When I first entered, there was no front desk in sight and it was unclear how to begin the game of bowling I booked online. I eventually found the front desk at the side of the bar and was told to go to lane 29 in ten minutes. I went to lane 29 after ten minutes and the game did not begin. There was no information on the lane to explain anything. I went back to the front desk and they then started the game. Everything was fine after this but it was really confusing. I also wasn't able to find any information about this system on the Tenpin website. It's very useful for me to learn more about what will happen before visiting somewhere so I can avoid confusion and overwhelm. It is very loud inside which is to be expected with families and children around. I want to visit again at an off-peak time in case it's quieter and more enjoyable. I hope that Tenpin are able to add more accessibility information on their website in future to better assist neurodivergent customers before visiting.

Arrived to a broken lane
Arrived to a broken lane. Pins were all messed up, 15 minutes later someone fixed them. Threw the first ball and it got stuck, another 15 minutes later someone tried to fix it but couldn’t, and moved us lane. No apologies for the inconvenience. Not coming back. Hollywood bowl much better

We came through to TenPin with out 5 year old for his birthday and had a really enjoyable time. Bowling, food and drink, soft play and arcades all under one roof and prices which do not break the bank.

Late Food
Our booking was for 6.30pm. We arrived at 6.20pm, were booked in and given our lane then. We were booked in for the 2 games of bowling and a burger meal deal. It got to 7.05pm and had still not received our burger meals. Spoke with a staff member who checked and it turned out our burger order had not been put through. Our food eventually arrived at 7.30pm, over an hour after we arrived. It was clear that there was not enough staff working to cover the footfall. This is not the first time I’ve been and felt in the evenings during the week, there is not enough staff working. Apart from this massive delay with our food, the bowling side was still very enjoyable.

You don’t get many of the balls that you need, we had size 12/14 and I usually use the size 8 , they also don’t give you much time for the games, we had to rush

Overall It was ok but expensive
the staff were good, the atmosphere very good. However, it was frustrating playing 10pin bowling as the selection of bowling balls was poor. No member of staff was ensuring that there was a proper range of sizes and that meant I was using an unsuitable bowling ball which was painful. It was also really expensive. I would have like to have taken my family but the prices were ridiculous
