Our business began with one simple mission – to spread kindness and make people smile with our letterbox biscuit gifts.
From our bakery in Rutland we make delicious vanilla biscuits and hand stamp each with a special message before gift wrapping them and sending them through the post to brighten someones day.
The Kitsch Hen was set up in 2015 as a way for me to find focus and a sense of purpose while we were embarking on our second cycle of IVF treatment for infertility. Although we decided to gently let go of our dream of having a family in 2019, The Kitsch Hen has become an opportunity for me to nurture in a different way and to find another route to joy and purpose in my life.

Perfection
I ordered from this company, and both times I have been really pleased.
The packaging is lovely, and the quality of the biscuits look amazing.
They have on both counts been gifts, so I haven’t been able to taste them but I hear good things.
The prices are reasonable and the delivery time also excellent.

A very special treat
I discovered the Kitsch Hen biscuit company a few years ago and now they are my ‘go to’ place for special occasion treats. The Coronation biscuits I ordered looked stunning, tasted delicious and were a lovely centrepiece for my celebration lunch. Beautifully decorated and individually packed - my guests were delighted with the biscuits and keen to hear more about the small, friendly company that makes them.

Stunning gift and experience
Having received the most beautiful and delicious cookie as a present for my birthday I knew it would be the perfect gift for my friend who was unwell. The get well soon cookie was perfectly worded and according to my friend, extremely tasty! The website was so easy to use and the turnaround time for the gift was super speedy.
