Awful service. I bought two plates that were described as dinner plates. No size was mentioned. Just described as dinner plates.
They are side plates. Certainly not big enough to be called dinner plates unless you are a toddler.
As per their email, I contacted them within 24 hours of receiving them to say I wanted to send them back for a full refund.
No response.
I contacted them again 24 hours later,
No response.
A company that does not respond to complaints or returns clearly has something to hide.
I do not recommend using this company for anything.

Absolutely delicious, authentic curry kits!
The best I’ve ever had. The instructions are so simple and easy to follow even the kids like to make it.
In 2/3 easy steps and you are done.
Happy husband when he opens the door and it’s like he’s in an Indian restaurant.

I purchased a wok from this company and it arrived damaged
Despite several emails and numerous phone calls I have been unable to contact them
The phone rings for a short time and then rings off and emails do not elicit a reply

Unfortunately my package never arrived. I have been waiting over a month for a refund and they keep stalling.

Zero customer service. No one answers the telephone, email responses took 5 days.
Having placed a £50+ order I immediately spotted the incorrect delivery address, an address I had used over 8 years previously, even though I had purchased from the company with my present address 2 months ago.
I immediately tried to call the company, no answer from the phone. I sent an email explaining the situation within 5 minutes of placing the order and followed this with other emails over the following 5 days. No response.
I only received a response from replying to an Order Confirmation email that I replied to.
I was informed that within minutes of placing my order, it was packed and collected by DPD. I have not received any confirmation of this from DPD, or tracking information which I would normally get. Having visited the delivery address they have not received any packages from DPD.
I can only assume that TheAsianCookshop jumped on this mistake as an opportunity to increase profits by 100%, blaming the customer. Now claiming my monies back through my bank.
WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. Tradewinds Oriental Shop are a great alternative.

Excellent Service, constantly updated and delivered next day, I explained I needed the items to cook a last minute anniversary dinner the next day and surely enough they arrived in time! Excellent quality items too, so a massive A+++++ will be shopping again soon.. thank you

I was ordering some hard to get Japanese salad dressing. This was the one shop that had it at a normal price. After placing the order they wrote to me to say that they didn't have the stock anymore and offered an instant refund or that they could partially fulfil the order. I suggested waiting until the stock was in. They agreed, staying in great touch updating me and helping get the order sorted. They could not have been more helpful. It arrived today, perfectly packed. This will be my first choice for Asian goods in the future.

At last I found a site that sold my childhood pickle, namely Balichow by Ferns. In my family, only Ferns will do. I ordered 2 jars from their website which was very easy to navigate and sold much, much more. I will be ordering again. Speedy delivery by Royal Mail. Being glass jars, I was a little apprehensive. Need not have worried - each jar was wrapped in yards of bubble wrap, then placed in a box with reams of brown paper, securely taped in a box suitable to the size. I was most impressed. Back in 1963, the only shop in London was near Euston Station and they only sold Indian sweets. They were excellent, kept long hours and once even opened the door when my mother knocked when they were shut. Now we can get whatever we want which is exemplary and satisfying. Many thanks to the The Asian Cookshop.

Have used a couple of different Asian shops but this is now my goto for my Indian ingredients. I bought Naga pickle, pilau rice seasoning and 2 types of poppadoms. All received promptly in good order and delivery very reasonable. When my spices run low I will be back.

I wanted to send my Son a Christmas present, he lives in the UK and I live in the USA. There was not an option on their website for my US address and as I was trying to order on Friday night, I resigned myself to wait until Monday. I was surprised to receive an email asking if there was a problem later that evening. I responded on Saturday and within minutes the problem was solved and I placed my order. How refreshing to have personal contact with this company. Their service is outstanding and I have no problem in highly recommending the Asian Cookshop. Thanks guys

Having lived in Birmingham for 64 years , where Asian products were easy to get , now living in rural Cornwall where they are rare . Great to have The Asian Cookshop with all the spices we need.

I have used Asian cook shop for many years and found the an excellent company to deal with. They are reasonably priced and quality products. Their delivery service is fast and secure and in good time. Products are well packed and come in perfect condition. They are easy to communicate with.
I highly recommend them.

I ordered a large Karahi and a large Wok. They arrived a few days later to me in the Highlands of Scotland. Well packaged, in perfect condition. No complaints at all, excellent service. Great pans excellent price. Thank you guys!

Avoid. Literally no customer service past point of sale.

taken payment for goods as "in stock", order marked as "dispatched" - only when I requested tracking did they tell me they had no stock, request to cancel was ignored so I now have to contact my bank

Is this a serious shop with an official looking site? Placed an order. Charged me immediately. They sent a DPD courrier message (with its tracing info) 2 days after to deliver during a one hour period on that day. I left work early to receive. Didn't come. Went to its tracing info. DPD said it didn't show my name for such a delivery. How not my name if I paid Asian Cookshop with my name and address? Very upset from leaving work early and losing pay, I contacted them 3 times to cancel for a refund. No return or cancel policy whatsoever on its site you will see. To conclude, they simply didn't reply, no refund, nothing. That's a scam. Raised a claim at the bank for refund. Don't trust this site
