Buyers and receivers are not warned of the validity dates that seem impossible to extend.
The buyer is frustrated

Only one happy is theatre tickets direct.
Not a good advert for theatres or industry.
There are better operators who are serving the industry better.

Due to an illness I needed to re book on a different date and I was helped enormously by Nandeep Vyas of Theatre Direct. He was very professional and went 'over and above' in helping me .... I would recommend them again ... howard

Do not use this company to purchase gift vouchers. Despite being in lockdown in Australia they would not extend the expiry date. Scam artists pocketing 150 pounds!

Rude and untrustworthy customer service who stopped responding to emails leaving no route to contact the company. We were given theatre ticket vouchers pre-pandemic, and when COVID-19 hit we spoke to a representative (when Theatre Tickets Direct's phone number still worked) who helpfully told us that they would not enforce the expiry date. When we came to use them, they didn't work, and on contacting the company they (rudely) said that it was our fault and wouldn't help.

When I arrived at the theatre my ticked when scanned was invalid. No one knew what was going on and the kind staff at the ticket office fortunately found me an open seat and placed me there, but instead of second row balcony with slightly restricted few I got last row stalls with huge restriction due to the balcony above and the seating layout, so that at times I could not see half the stage.
All I heard from them was I should not complain since I got a more expensive seat with no charge (which is not true, they sell for the same price) and honestly it would have been even more ridiculous to ask me to pay extra for another seat that I did not book or want.
Since that last unhelpful message I received no answer to my mails... so no thanks, never again. I just book with someone else in the future, so that I don’t have to worry about getting the seat I wanted, let alone even getting into the performance at all.

I can only add to the reviews in praise of Nandeep who was very helpful and sorted out our request quickly and professionally. I hadn't expected to be able to change the date of our booking but she sorted this out for us with no problem.

I needed to change the dates I was attending a show as a rail strike meant I wouldn't be able to attend. Nandeep dealt with my issue quickly and efficiently ensuring I received tickets for a later date.

I booked tickets for the wrong day. I emailed the company. Within a few hours they had changed the tickets to the date and time I was originally meant to book. Thank you for sorting that out or I would of had an upset daughter. Thank you to Nandeep who sorted this out for me.

Received an incredibly disappointing response or rather lack of response, after asking to move dates of tickets with 72 hours due to a family bereavement. Despite asking to have matter escalated to a complaint, we have heard nothing. Very disappointing and will definitely not be using this company again.

Shameful company that should not be operating still! They are a disgrace to the Theatre industry and the shows that place tickets with them. Despite purchasing their insurance and fulfilling the criteria for a full refund as two members had covid and several members of our party were in quarantine, due to the travel rules brought in just a few days before Christmas. They refused to offer a refund on the insurance we paid extra for or offer a voucher or change the date, which was our initial request. Nandeep was rude, and without any empathy or professionalism. I was horrified and will be taking further action. Highly recommend avoiding them and booking direct. Their insurance is not worth the email it's printed on!
