Great service - great bamboo!

I placed an order with the Bamboo Company based on their website and how they seem to be very proud of the excellent plants they produce. I could have used my local garden centre but i thought id go to the professionals. Big Mistake! First of all the 6 trees were delivered and because i wasnt home they were left and i wasnt able to inspect them. When i unwrapped them it was clear that 4 were in good condition and big and bushy as they should be but 2 were a fraction of the size. I showed photos to the Bamboo Company and i was quite surprised when they refused to exchange the 2 skinny trees for 2 of a similar quality as the other 4 i had delivered. They based their decision on the fact that they are the correct height as described on their website. Height is one thing but if they only have a few stems they are never going to look the same as the bushy trees. When you order 6 trees you want them to be all of a similar standard. If they produce as many trees as they say they do it should have been easy to do this. They offered to give me a discount (which shows they accept the trees werent of a good quality) but id rather have trees that look healthy and bushy rather than skinny and frail. There isnt any point to have 2 trees that look like they are have seen better days even if they are half price. The Bamboo Company did say they would give me a refund if i returned the trees but lets be honest they know this is likely to be impossible as the average person doesnt own a van. Considering they shout about how they produce such amazing trees they clearly didnt care about customer satisfaction to have selected the trees they did and have them delivered. If i had been home i would never have accepted the 2 trees that im still trying to exchange. They no longer respond to my emails.
I wont be ordering from the Bamboo Company again and Ill visit a garden centre in future to be sure i dont get lumbered with items of a shabby quality.

As the Bamboo Company seem to deny any wrong doing id be very happy to supply photos as evidence if it were possible.

Having grown bamboo in London I needed advice on which type to purchase for a rural exposed site. I telephoned and was given excellent no nonsense advice. I purchased my bamboo which arrived within days looking fabulous and well worth the money I had paid for them. I don't review purchases normally, however, the follow up email to remind me to water my bamboo pursued me to write this, I would recommend this company, their products are good and customer service excellent and I hope to purchase further beautiful bamboo specimens in the future.

I decided to ordered some Bamboo plants online from The Bamboo Company as I'm unable to drive, due to medical reasons.
I was a bit hesitant at first, knowing that I wouldn't be able to choose the plants, but was delighted with the plants when they arrived! Big,busy, healthy looking plants 😊.
The service was excellent too, and the plants arrived within a couple of days.

We ordered 6 tall bamboo plants. Everything was really good, from the ordering, the customer service and the delivery. They are now duly planted in our garden to give us some much needed privacy! I would definitely order from these guys again.

I was slightly nervous of buying such expensive plants without seeing them but need not have worried. Plants arrived quickly, well wrapped to protect them and are lovely and healthy. Will use again.

Ordered my bamboo and was delivered within 3 days , bamboo is very nice plant in top condition and I will be ordering more bamboo in the future .

I ordered 4 black bamboos a few months ago and they were delivered in excellent condition and have grown well since planting them. I like this company, they have excellent customer services.

Only let down by a very unhelpful delivery person.
