Two Grooms Cottage, Dunster
The cottage is ideally placed in the heart of Dunster and is a great base to explore the village and surrounding area. It is literally across the road from the Luttrell Arms which is a fabulous Old Pub and serves lovely food.
There are nice walks from your doorstep and it is worth the stroll down to Blue Anchor Bay and beach where you can visit the Drifters cafe for refreshments.
One Groons cottage is cosy and comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The location is magical. The cottage is lovely, it is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, it feels like a home rather than a holiday let. The booking system was easy and efficient. We have booked a return visit.

We had the best week at Middle Stolford Cottage, it was absolutely perfect. The house was so comfortable and warm, and had everything you could possibly need from a holiday house. The beds were so comfy and the garden and play area were perfect for our doggie and toddler! The pizza oven was a fab addition and we loved making pizzas one evening. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Yenworthy Mill, Countisbury

Excellent accommodation, very large & spacious, so lots of privacy with a large group.
Many beautiful walks to explore & pubs to eat at. Walked to Brendon through Lorna Doone route & ate at The Staghunters Inn, simple home cooked good value food.
Such a peaceful location, free of noise & traffic, we all came away fully charged!

2nd time of visiting Ruffles, a lovely well presented cottage right in the heart of Dunster, beds really comfy, kitchen well equipped and the log burner was wonderful. I feel a 3rd time visit will not be too far away. Exmoor is a beautiful place to visit, so many views, walks and so much history and nature. The Best of Exmoor has definitely provided the best of Exmoor

We stayed at Linhay Cottage, Withypool. This was very quiet, peaceful and dark at night. Fantastic location for walks from the door and immediate access to cycling routes (we had our own e-bikes) especially, after a short link, NCR3, which was stunning on topof the moor despite cloud and at times swirling mist. The cottage was very clean and tidy. The king size bed was very comfortable. The cottage was generally well equipped. The small freezer compartment of the fridge might be on the small side for anyone who brings their own precooked meals. We would happily return to this property, and would use The Best of Exmoor again.

Great stay at Vale View Apartment, Porlock Weir.
Excellent location with easy walking access both to the cobbled beach and charming fishing village of Porlock Weir. Endless walking opportunities and also places of interest short drives away.
Apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views. Plenty of room for the dog as well.

The Stables, Lydeard St Lawrence. Peaceful bliss! This was our second time staying here and again didn't disappoint. The house is so comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. In beautiful surroundings with plenty of good walks right on your doorstep, even in November, it's a great place to stay. It is a place you'll want to keep to yourself so you know you'll be able to return time and time again.

Wonderful welcome, fabulous accommodation and Scrumptious food too. Our favourite holiday destination!!!

Its obvious from the minute you walk in that this cottage has been renovated with care. Its immaculate from top to bottom. The lounge is comfy and very homely, the kitchen large and modern and very well equipped and the downstairs loo a great addition.
Both bedrooms are furnished beautifully with super comfy beds and pillows.
Porlock village is lovely with several pubs, grocery stores, independent shops, cafes etc. A lovely base in Exmoor.
Although no dedicated parking spot at the cottage, we were able to park on the road close to the cottage every day.
We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The Pippins, Old Cleeve.
This is an outstanding holiday home with quality fitments, fixtures and equipment. It is private without being isolated, warm and with rural outlooks. The bed is blissfully comfortable, the towels are white and fluffy and the walk in shower is excellent.
The kitchen is outstanding and everything is pristine clean.
Highly recommended for discerning visitors, the dog also loved the garden.
We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends on Facebook.
We visited everywhere around and ate at a recommended pub The White Horse.
Loved everything about this bungalow and the whole area.

Our third stay at Splatt Barn in as many years and just as wonderful as ever! It is very much our preferred location in Porlock and we will definitely be back again next year

It has been a very enjoyable stay at Crown Cottage, which was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. It’s nice to have a wood burner to light during the evenings as it is getting cooler.
The location is brilliant, we have visited Exford on a regular basis for nearly 30 years now. Crown cottage is well positioned as we just walked out the back door on one of our favourite walks along the exe to larcombe foot and back.
Best of Exmoor holiday lettings where very processional in organising a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed at High Bank in Porlock. We have stayed here several times and this cottage never disappoints. Clean, comfortable and convenient sums it up. Already looking forward to our next stay.

The property we stayed in was in a fabulous location with a lovely garden and a beautiful view of the sea from the decking and kitchen and bedroom windows. Spacious property which had everything needed for a weeks holiday. Felt cosy and homely with a very comfortable sofa. Good pub and coffee shop within walking distance, also interesting little shops. Pebble beach but swimming is possible. Overall we had a great time and would return to the area. Booking was easy and straightforward. I was glad to be able to support a small business. Prices very reasonable.

We stayed in Lorna Doone cottage, it was in a great location in the valley at Lynmouth. Comfortable and clean, and small touches like the biscuits, cake and coffee provided were lovely!

Lovely cottage in great location; off road parking a real asset.

Stay at Middle Stolford cottage, The Brendan Hills.
The most stunning location. Good instructions to find . The hosts had thought of everything you could possibly need. It was extremely comfortable, spacious and great for us as family. The hot tub was amazing, separate gowns and towels provided. It was beautiful to sit outside and chat on the patio area with people in the hot tub and the kids playing in the park. There was also use of the tennis court and access to separate pizza oven and BBQ which again was beautifully fitted out with all the things you might need plus a huge dining table.
We woukd definitely go again

Clicket water is a great place to stay in Somerset. The cottage is in Timberscombe which is a small village with a lovely pub serving good food.
The cottage itself has been modernised to a high standard.
The super king bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable.
The whole cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival.
There is a sitting area at the front overlooking the beautiful countryside and a large terraced garden at the rear.
There is an outside tap that provides hot and cold water which is great to wash the dogs after a walk.
I don’t have anything negative to say.
The location is great for exploring both Somerset and North Devon.

The Best of Exmoor consistently provides a good selection of properties with an informative and easy to use website. The location of the properties is excellent with Porlock, Exmoor and Porlock Weir all places that are excellent for an enjoyable holiday'
