Absolutely love this cottage. The view from the kitchen window was stunning. Porlock weir is a pretty little place with a good pub that offers delicious food and drinks.
Lovely circular walk around the salt marshes into Porlock and then returning through the woods. We've already booked another holiday here and can't wait to return.

Great cottage, everything in the cottage to make a trouble free stay. Cutcombe is a small village, very quiet hardly any though traffic. Plenty of walking routes starting near the cottage. There is a petrol station with a shop a 9 minute from the cottage in Wheddon cross. Off road parking for the car is a very short walk from the cottage. As usual trouble free through Best of Exmoor.

Lovely cottage, great location, decent sized living area and very well equipped kitchen. Secure outside space was great for our dog. Also some nice touches such as dog towels provided.
Also appreciated the helpful communication from the company and the cottage owner. .

Stayed at Harbour House in Porlock Weir. Fabulous location with amazing views. A good base for lovely walks in different choices of terrain. Extremely convenient parking for one vehicle, and close to a lovely pub and hotel with a nice restaurant.

A wonderful tranquil place in a fantastic location. Excellent place to chill out and/or explore on foot or by car. Stunning view across Porlock bay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was big and spacious, our 15 month old had an absolute blast on the terrace. Everything was clean and we could not have had a better location. Our 90 year old grandfather was able to scooter from his home to the Airbnb. Highly recommend! Fantastic stay :) thank you for having us!

For anyone who enjoys being off the beaten track the Linhay at Withypool is the perfect location. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and so peaceful. Lots of great walks nearby and a friendly welcome at the local cafe and shop

We loved The Old Kitchen. The property is beautifully presented with quality furniture and fittings. The location was perfect for us - just ten mins walk from the village and a short drive (or a long walk) from the edge of the moors. Delicious cake too! Thank you.

We stayed at the Stables, Lydeard St Lawrence, which I found through the best of Exmoor.

With regards to accommodation - Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice and quiet. Lovely house. Would certainly book them again when we next go to Devon.

Using The best of Exmoor platform to find and book a holiday cottage was straightforward and easy to easy. Very good range of holiday places, prices very good and had no issues placing a booking. Will definitely use again.

The Cow Shed is a perfect spot to relax in beautiful countryside. Very stylish, spacious rooms, even better than the photos. Many thoughtful touches, even provided treats and a cooling mat for the dog. Looking forward to next time.

The location of the cottage. Is stunning with fabulous views. The owners Chris and Nick were very friendly and the cream tea on arrival was a real treat

The quietest, most peaceful spot imaginable, partway up a wooded coombe, with no passing traffic. Own parking spot, and a beautiful private garden area opposite. Spotlessly clean cottage, with comfortable traditional furniture, nicely chosen to fit the period features. Well equipped with all essentials, good WiFi. Highly recommended.

A lovely quiet location amongst the workings of a farm. Location was easy to find and plenty of parking for guests. We had x3 cars in total and no issues with parking. Stayed for 4 days. The house itself was very clean and tidy and had everything one needed for a stay and for cooking within the property. The downstairs toilet was very useful and saved having to go upstairs frequently to use the toilet in the bathroom. The kitchen was modern and one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in and all the utensils and pans, plates, cups, etc were of a high standard and almost new. The oven and hob worked great. The beds were very comfortable and having bunk beds in one room, along with a double bed, made sleeping with children, a lot easier in the one room. The en-suite bathroom made a life a lot easier for guests in that particular room and the main bathroom was very well equipped. The showers were very good in the property. Wi-fi worked well at the property.
Overall, a very pleasant stay was had by us all at Wingate Farm. Would stay there again if visiting the local area in the future with no hesitation. Well worth a stay, you will not be disappointed............

Lovely company to deal with, always helpful, always respond promptly and have some wonderful properties on Exmoor. Our last visit was to Cascade Cottage in Exford which we would thoroughly recommend especially for dog owners. Exmoor is one of the most beautiful areas in UK, all rolling hills, a few villages and not so crowded. If you like walking it’s a must. Talk to the Best of Exmoor and they will find you what you want.

We booked Robins Brook in Porlock with The Best of Exmoor, and it was a straighforward and hassle free process. We received regular communications from the company, and comprehensive and accurate information about the accommodation.
The cottage was homely and comfortable, in a beautiful location and with an amazing garden. For those who don't drive and like to walk it's ideal. It's a fifteen minute, very pleasant walk into Porlock, with it's eateries and stores, and with the bus stop for buses to Minehead, Lynmouth and Ilfracombe.......and there are a variety of great walks literally straight from the front door. It was a very positive experience altogether.

The Old Malt House, Exton.
This was the most relaxing place we have stayed with our two dogs, the views from our top garden were spectacular. The sun shone in our garden from early morning until late into the evening. The only sounds heard were that of birds and bee's.
The accommodation was lovely and spacious and had everything needed.
The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, wash up liquid, hand wash and body wash were to die for, I have ordered some on-line for when we got home.
Jo was very helpful on our journey down, we didnt meet her but she sounded lovely and was keen to make our stay as lovely as possible. Lovely walks near by, everyone was very friendly too.

First class property in a very good location. Owners are easily contactable for any issues. We would certainly recommend this to others.

This is our fourth visit to Western Cottage and we absolutely love it. We had scorching weather for our two weeks and could have done with a parasol (and base) so that we could sit on the front bench throughout the day, rather than having to retreat indoors. That view is just priceless and we think of it often when we are back in Sussex. The neighbours and locals are warm and welcoming, with great food at the cafe, hotel, pub and Porlock Bay Oyster Company. It is a brilliant location for our dog too and he would also give it five stars! Dave Robinson is an absolute legend and the Weir would not be the same without hearing his voice and admiring his particular brand of NZ fashion sense...!

Fantastic company, thorough communication throughout booking process, before and after our stay ensuring everything was OK. Cannot fault Chris and his team and highly recommend them.
We stayed at 'The Stables' which is a fantastic property, very clean and everything we needed for our stay. A lovely welcoming touch with a bottle of wine in the fridge. Absolutely amazing views to the sea and the surrounding garden is really lovely and a sun trap - nice and relaxing to sit and take in your surroundings.
The owner is a lovely lady and I guess a really keen gardener which is a credit to her.
A short walk from the property takes you to Porlock Weir which is really lovely. The Bottom Ship is a pub there serving lovely quality food.
Fab base to explore Somerset and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at "The Stables" - would highly recommend it!
