Awful customer service and communication

I ordered an Apple iPad on October 13th with an estimated dispatch of 9 business days. 12 days pass and no tablet, check the website and the estimated date has changed to 21 days without any communication. Waited 21 days, still no tablet. Tried to contact EDU three times via their email address, no response within 2 weeks. Tried the contact number in the email address, no dial tone. I tried contacting their parent company and still no response. The estimated time for the tablet went up to 56 days, still not directly informed of these changes. I contacted the site via their website form and said I was involving my bank to get my money back, three days later I received a response. No apology, no reason as to why this kept getting delayed. I finally received my refund on the 24th of December (and no tablet arrived in that time). Awful customer service with no apologies, no direct way to get in touch with someone and pure lack of customer communication. Will never purchase from this website again.

From excitement, anger, disappointment to helplessness

A very disappointing and unhelpful shopping experience. I ordered my new 14 inch MacBook pro on the 8th of November and the price on the website was very good. There was a wait of about a month for delivery. I thought it would be delivered before Christmas. However, it still hadn't arrived by Christmas and I was so angry and disappointed that I contacted customer service. However, their response was even more unacceptable, they told me to wait another 30 working days! Today is the 15th of January 2022, over two months since I ordered and I really don't know when I will receive my laptop. This also means that this company has used my money for over two months without any response! I am so helpless right now, I am a student with limited funds and I am anxious to use my new laptop. I don't know how long it will take to request a refund. I hope someone if want to order from this site, please go to the Apple, at least they don't deduct your money in advance!!!

Excellent Service

Recently purchased an Apple product from the EduStore and was suitably impressed with the ordering process, from the ease of use of the web interface, through to payment and the speedy delivery (next day).

Will definitely use again, as well as being substantially cheaper in some cases than the Apple Education Store!

MBP 14 received within 24 hours of placing order

I ordered a 14 inch MacBook Pro M1.

I was very unsure about ordering from here based on the recent reviews, which I had been keeping an eye on for the past few weeks to see if there was any change. However, the extra £150 off and, in particular, the 4 year warranty was too good to pass up.

I decided to get in the queue, fully aware that based on the advertised lead time I would likely not get the laptop till March (or later if the supply issues continued) and ordered yesterday evening (after 17:30, which the site says is their closing time).

Imagine my complete and abject surprise when a couple of hours later I got a shipping notification!(!!)

The laptop arrived this lunchtime, so well within 24 hours of ordering, which I honestly am in more than a little bit of shock about.

I don’t know if I got incredibly lucky, or if I got the laptop because someone else cancelled after waiting for so long, or if the store have had a big shipment from Apple just come in, or if orders are not being strictly fulfilled in the order they are received.

From my experience, the service has been incredible. But I am very aware this has not been the case for a lot of people, and if I got my laptop because orders are not being fulfilled in order or because someone gave up waiting after months, then that is not good at all. But I can only rate based on my own experience.

All the previous reviews were very helpful for me, so I hope mine can be similarly useful/informative for anyone thinking about ordering.

Macbook

Sales advise was clear from the start that they ship them when Apple supply them, but they can only give estimates.

Fine if you are prepared to wait a bit longer - the model/spec you purchase seems to have a big impact on delivery times based on comments here.

They will hold on to your money indefinitely and never deliver

Like many others have recently posted, I ordered a top of the line M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro from theEDUstore, as their price was slightly lower than going to Apple Education directly.

This proved to be a huge mistake, since if I had paid slightly more with Apple, I would have received my laptop many months ago.

theEDUstore charge your card at the point of order (not dispatch like Apple), and after several months of zero communication and no sign of dispatch, I finally cancelled.

They also seem to ridicule their existing customers who are patiently awaiting delivery by offering promotional savings during Black Friday and Christmas, while people who ordered many months before do not get this pricing and are still waiting.

Don't waste your time and just buy from Apple next time, that is what I'll be doing.

Great prices

I have ordered twice on this site now, 14" macbook pro and an ipad. The prices on the website are great, much better than even the education discount from apple. I understand that the wait time might be long, but it is clearly stated on the website how long it can take and the wait times are just as bad as if you were to buy from apple directly, so I don't know what you would expect the company to do.

Macbook said it would take 30 days to arrive, and it took less than a week, and the ipad said 56 days and it took around 20 days.

The customer support replies relitively quickly, but the only issue is that the only option is to contact via email.

Overall a great company.

Very deceptive company; I recommend you don't order from them!

Ordered a MacBook Pro (Max) on the release date (late October); website said specifically 30 days, this was then changed to 30 working days, STILL haven't received the MacBook Pro; almost 3 months later.

They state they haven't received any stock yet from Apple and HAVE NO IDEA when they will. Yet the worst of it is they are still "selling" the MacBook Pro on their website and state STIL there is only a 30 working day wait; very deceptive.

Still waiting for my order, awful customer service

Still have not received my order after they said it would take 22 working days and it has now been 25 working days. The customer service is awful - no updates at all on my order. The customer service
number they provide in the terms and conditions on check out doesn't even work. They should not be taking money from people when they don't even have items in stock or know when they will. Such an unprofessional joke of a company. From what I have read from others it looks like I'll be waiting much longer until they have my item in stock so will be canceling and trying to get a refund.

Avoid items not in stock

Avoid items not in stock. Ordered MBP 14 on 5th Nov, but never received. Customer service is quite responsive, but they couldn’t give me ETA, so if you need to get the laptop fast, try elsewhere. Paypal fully refunded in about 10 days.
