My Chanel bag was literally so dirty from my daughter using it in bars etc.. you get the picture. Plus it was cream coloured and yes why did I let her use it but onto the recommendation .. the handbag spa did such an amazing job looks like a new bag ! I am beyond happy .. only downside is it’s not as supple anymore but now I can use it .. fully recommend !

I brought my box leather Givenchy bag in on Sept 12, 2024, because the handles were worn and looking sad. I thought they needed replacement. The woman at the spa , that seemed to be in charge, said the leather shine had worn off and the handles did not need replacing. I received in back on Oct 11, a month later, and the finish was not right. I got in touch and they said to send it back , which I did on Oct 16. On Nov,22, it arrived and looked beautiful! I've used it 2 weeks and now the handles are peeling and by Dec 12 it looks horrible! They are not cheap, and it now looks cheap! Very disappointed! Clean

I've used The Handbag Spa twice - for my own and my daughter's much loved Hermes Evelyn bags. Both times the bags have come back in absolutely pristine condition - as good as new and carefully wrapped.

I found that high-end handbag repair was something not found on every block. I am located in California, in the United States. I had a Coco Chanel bag that was my wife’s late mothers I wanted restored and the best place I found to do so was the handbag spa. I will be honest with you. It was a little scary to send the coveted bag halfway around the world for Repair, especially given all the sketchy players operating nowadays. But my concerns were put at ease by the high-level of professionalism demonstrated. All my follow-up inquiries were promptly responded to and most importantly the bag was restored to like new condition. I highly recommend this service

Absolutely first class service from start to finish. My Gucci purse was looking worse for wear after years of forcing in and out of handbags, after repair and reconditioning the leather it’s like brand new so happy. Will definitely use again.

I had a vintage '90's Chanel crossbody. It just looked worn. They were patient with me, answering all of my many questions and very good to guide me along. The purse looks brand new, buttery soft, and I am more than thrilled! There is no one in the U.S. that would take this this Chanel Purse for an uplift. Thank Goodness for The Handbag Spa! There are a few companies that do ‘Bag and Shoe Spa’s” and I have some experience of the others. What I would say is that Sarah and her team are nothing like the others. Communication is first class, timescales are realistic and met and the repairs are second to none. I had sent in a pair of my wife’s sandals with the front kid leather badly damaged. I don’t hold out much hope for them, delighted to get them back as good as new. So impressed I’ve booked in two of my wife’s bags for cleaning

I recently engaged the services of a company I stumbled upon online, and I must confess, had I perused the reviews beforehand, I would have spared myself considerable distress. Entrusting my £2500 Dior Handbag to them for cleaning proved to be a regrettable decision. Initially quoted £120 for cleaning and an additional £100 for color restoration, along with exorbitant return shipping charges, I found myself in a whirlwind of disappointment.

Throughout the entire process, I found myself in the unenviable position of constantly chasing updates, bombarding them with emails that went unanswered and resorting to numerous phone calls just to elicit a response. Despite assurances that my bag would be returned by January 14th at the latest, it wasn't until February that it finally made its way back to me.

To my dismay, the bag appeared virtually unchanged in color, with the restoration effort merely returning it to its previous, unsatisfactory state. The strap remained soiled, seemingly untouched by any cleaning efforts. Despite my request for a partial refund due to the subpar results and abysmal customer service, all I received were defensive emails brimming with arrogance, asserting that they had fulfilled their end of the bargain.

Furthermore, discovering online that they are undergoing liquidation comes as little surprise given the shoddy service I experienced. I strongly caution others against engaging with this dubious outfit; they are nothing short of a disreputable operation.

Just had a vintage Gucci handbag restored and very happy. The customer service was brilliant. The quote process was simple and the additional services were about my restoration and not a way to just charge you more for basic customer service as other companies offer. The quality of workmanship is brilliant and while there was a minor delay in returning, it was worth it due to the edging on the handle. It feels like a brand new bag, no more lost keys in the ripped lining and finally using my bag after years of not knowing it could restored. Thank you, would use company again!

I had my Chanel bag re-dyed from pale pink to black and it is incredible! It looks like a brand new bag. The quality is amazing

The company was amazing my handbag came back to me looking like it was brand new.
There were a lot of water marks and scratches on it and inside of the bag was in real need of some attention

Sent in a very battered Prada handbag, corners scuffed, lining coming away inside. I have had it back and it looks brand new. I can't believe how well they have done and would definitely use them again or recommend. I am really happy with it.

The experience I had was one of professionalism, fast service, helpful staff and reassurance. I should also mention the courtesy of staff - and the bag? Given as a present to me and I was reluctant to pay for the repairs, but now it was well worth it.

The handbag spa as now successfully ruined the third item for me. Unfortunately I’ve never learnt my lesson I sent a gold Chanel bag which was never the same and never worn again pair of Chanel ankle boots which basically had nothing wrong with them. Come back never worn again, and I’ve just recently received my black Chanel material bag back in the post which was due for a clean and once again is now unwearable and is much much worse than originally started. If you want your items ruined, send them to the handbag spa

I sent in a battered, 10 year old cream Mulberry bag. They picked it up from my front door and have worked magic on it. It’s been delivered back to me and looks as good as new and far cheaper than buying a new bag. Would 100% recommend.

After paying £350 for my handbag to be restored, it was returned still unbale to be used. After correspondence back and forth with the company I was sent £55 as final settlement which I am not satisfied with.

Surely as part of the pre inspection that is carried out, the team there have enough experience to know what is and isn't possible. If the handbag was in such a state I would have expected the handbag sending back with no works done.

The company blamed all problems on the state of the handbag and not on the workmanship of the company. I would have expected some correspondence from the team prior to dispatch if there were all these known issues not just it sending back for me then to return it for the team to try to rectify the issues which they were unable to.

I wouldn't recommend this company.

After receiving a mid-1980s Gucci Handbag back that required a lot of restoration, I am over the moon about the work, the bag looks fantastic. Genuinely thank you for the work that’s gone in. Highly Recommended.
