Damaged bin
Ordered a bin for my elderly mother as it was advertised as a good price. So started positively but straight away delivery was delayed. The item then arrived with a broken lip and 3 large dents. When I requested a replacement there was ‘magically’ no stock left. As it was a very expensive bin, I was disappointed that apparently they can only offer a 20% discount if we keep it. Even though there is no way a bin with that much damage is worth over £110 and it would cost them to pick up for a full refund. When I questioned the refund % they just refunded me the 20% and ignored my messages. When I pushed for a response I got a very sarcastic message kindly making me aware they can only offer 20%. To avoid any hassle and distress for my mum as I don’t live near her I’ve felt like I have to keep the bin. But really poor and dodgy stock being sold on this website. Disappointed and will avoid in the future.

Always a decent price on The Hut
Always a decent price on The Hut. Cannot fault the speediness or ordering and delivery. Though the delivery pricing is now a tad expensive tbh. It doesn’t dissuade me from buying as the company has proven consistent good service ( for my orders).

When paying for offers by Gruum attached to other companies such as Zavvi. Please don’t bother to pay because you will never get the items. I have had to chase Zavvi and they have refunded some. Gruum should stop using this company for
