Very rude and sour faced woman on the till at Tenterden branch. I attempted to use my student card to get my discount, but as I am a mature student she was being very sarcastic and asking for more Id etc - my name and picture is on the card! I then heard her talking about me as I left the store. Also no please or thanks from her. Her customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

27/11/23 16:15 I returned a child's toy (stretchy monkey), to the Wokingham shop, which was spewing sand from the mouth. As the receipt price having got wet, the manager said in a decidedly rude tone, that I could only swap for a replacement (potentially dangerous toy).The item was now marked down by 50p, so if he has scanned the item and the original toy, it was obvious the returning item had been bought at a higher price. Instead he was decidedly rude and certainly there was no evident good will. I rarely go into this shop as I have yet to see anything at bargain price. Had it not been for Katrina's assistance I would never set foot in it again. She was patient, kind and polite.

This store has plenty of bargains. Better still are the staff in store, friendly, helpful and always seem happy in the workplace. I have previously rang the store to see if they had items in stock nothing is too much trouble for them, great service thank you ladies.

We had a great experience at TOFS in Mablethorpe, the employee named Jaq was so helpful she made our time shopping really unforgettable, and we bagged some bargains too.

I bought a kettle from this company. It failed 21 months into a 24 month guarantee. The local shop in Uttoxeter had closed by this time.
The Meyer group, who own the company who produced the kettle, weren't particularly helpful and I have reviewed them separately.
The Original Factory Shop couldn't supply a replacement kettle, but sent me a voucher for the price I paid, valid for 2 years and received today.
Thank you to the Original Factory Shop, for great customer service!

Alnwick store displayed price on shelf and then tried to charge extra £2 and refuses to honour displayed price. Never again.

I recently purchased a garden parasol from this company in Bodmin. In my opinion this item is dangerous. Once erected, I found it unstable to say the least. It has to be screwed to whatever it is standing on to stop it toppling, which is totally unacceptable unless yo have for example a wooden deck or paved area. If all you have is a grassed area - forget it. Once erected this item is very heavy, and TOTALLY not fit for purpose. Avoid like the plague!!

The few staff are helpful and are in good cheer, and there’s a good range of the items in the store. The amount of female to male clothing is excessively for females. The perfume section is now hidden below the checkout which makes it impossible to browse. Previously it was easier to see behind the checkout sellers. Overall a good experience but needs 3+ people in store

Verbally assaulted by Manager! Used F word. Clothes snatched out of hand and shouted at: Get Out!
I'm in total shock of how I was treated at The Original Factory Shop in Stourport by the manager.
In the store on Tuesday 14th Sept I found some trousers. I wanted to try these on but the changing rooms closed.
There where no staff on the shop floor when I arrived and no customers. I thought it was safe to be discreet and try on the trousers.
They didn't fit, so I tried on another pair. All of a sudden the manager and two young girls burst out of a side door. I was unsure of what they had been up to as they had been gone for over 15 minutes.
The manager marched over shouting, "That's disgusting, how dare you try on some clothes". "Its covid, don't you know".
Well, I was in my mask but none of the staff were taking the same precautions by wearing masks themselves. I even had to say "stop!", as he was so close. "Please move away" I asked.
I then explained there was no staff or customers about and the changing rooms were closed. He then swore at me using the F word. I said, "did you just swear at me?" which he ignored and continued ranting at me. "Get in the changing rooms" he shouted, "and close the curtain".
I heard him say to the girls, "That was horrible to see".
One girl said, "We've had an increase in thefts recently". I replied, "I've got my purse here and I'm 63". I thought that no staff being on the shop floor for over 15 minutes might be a reason for thefts!
When I came out of the changing rooms the manager stormed over to me again with even more aggressive behaviour. He snatched the clothes out of my hand and shouted "Get out, get out, or I'm going to call the police". I replied "I feel like calling them" and he shouted "Go on then!"
I was in a bit of a state by this time after being spoken to and disrespected in such a way. I still replied, "I want to buy them". He said "No you cant, just get out!"
I was then marched out of the store by the manager.
I felt like bursting into tears outside. I was unsure of what had just happened and what to do.
I called my husband who advised me to go back in and ask to speak to the manager.
I did this and one of the girls said, "The person who shouted at you was the manager".
He saw me at the desk and came marching over to me a third time. "Get out, get out" he shouted.

I was deeply insulted, felt very threatened and the experience has made me so upset, that I will never visit this store again.

Today received scratch card I won 5 pound off if I spend 50 pounds or more what a load rubbish you call that winning something

Unhelpful member of staff who told me that didn’t sell a particular item when they actually did .
Only a small store and employee should be familiar with stock .
I shopped on the 20th November and was given a free scratch card which had already EXPIRED on the 30th September. “
I wonder what would have happened had I won ?
I suggest that all customers check the date on any free scratch card as soon as they receive it and in front of the check out person.
Or better still ask the shop assistant to check before they hand it over to you.
When I pointed out to the manageress her Assistants lack of help + knowledge she was about to remonstrate with her whilst I was still in the shop which was the last thing I wanted.
However a quick word and she agreed to wait until I had left. I got the distinct impression that this was not the first complaint she had received about the same member of staff.
The manageress however was FANTASTIC and helped me get down the items I wanted. She was not only helpful but personable and dealt with my grievance admirably.
I’ll certainly return because the prices are very competitive and the quality acceptable.

One of the best branches out their. Not only did I get this lovely Bench for a great price! They staff are very friendly and helpful! Oh and most definitely have good banter! Honestly going their is always a pleasant visit!

Also thank you for offering to help me take the bench apart to fit it in my tiny clio haha!

Was trying to buy a wire brush. As soon as I went to the site this is what I saw - "Free Delivery to UK Mainland" in a large blue logo.
Item in basket and suddenly £15 delivery.(Highlands and Islands) I live 8 miles from Inverness. If I travel from London or wherever on mainland UK I do not have to fly, sail, cross a bridge, etc I AM ON THE MAINLAND!!!
Anyway taking it further I then put in my mothers address, she lives on the Moray Firth Coast - not the Highlands and Islands - but yet again £15. Check their delivery information and it says this
" UK Mainland FREE - Delivery 3-5 days
Scottish Highlands and Islands - £15 - Delivery 5-7 days
So not only do they make one false claim but two!! How many more false claims do they make???

I visit the store in Alton quite often (also 1 in Hammerer & 1 in Brighton) and find it very useful. In particular, household items such as laundry detergent, washing up liquid etc. It's very rare that there isn't a bargain on this type of good.
If I'm on the hunt for clothing, summer shorts / Tee Shirts / Ordinary shirts & so on, again I've always found something I wanted. People have told me that they aren't the best quality in the world, but I disagree, they are good value for money. I've bought a vacuum cleaner, bedding, microwave from theme too. All still going strong. They come with the same guarantee as anywhere else.
On just the one occasion when I needed to return an item, was refunded immediately without any fuss.

Used to be a reasonable priced shop but seems so expensive popped in while in Bridgnorth even the things in the sale were expensive compared to other shops so went down the road to simply best

Delivery prices are extortionate, possibly the highest in the country. Even when you order something in the shop you still have to pay their grossly inflated delivery charges.
£25 delivery to the Isle of Bute regardless of the fact that there is a shop on the island which gets supplied on a regular basis!
