Lovely slippers
Lovely slippers, turns out my left foot is slightly bigger than my right, I'm persevering with them and they are getting softer the more I wear them. The right foot fits well, so if id gone up a size they would have been too big.

Super cosy slippers …
My daughter Frances has bought me these slippers before and treated me to another pair recently. There were two things that helped me so much as I recovered from a big operation one was a cosy cosy dressing gown and these slippers I couldn’t wait to put them on the slippers are the most comfortable warm cosy footwear imaginable. Thank you the Small Home for producing these slippers ( by the way you may need to size up as they are so luxuriously made)

Comfortable
Comfortable. I thought they were too small at first (I sized up) but read the blurb explaining they took a little while to stretch to your foot. They did, and are comfortable, and stay on surprisingly well for my narrow feet.
Improvement to the experience would be more product photos - the mules had a white sole and trim, which I wouldn't have picked if they had been visible in the product shot. Perhaps there was a description in the text, but I haven't got the best vision and wouldn't have picked it up - more photos please.
They were end of line (no returns or exchanges) so I will keep them, but £40 for a feature you don't quite want is still £40.

Illegal online policy on returns
Husband bought me some slippers as a present. He sized up as per the online instructions but they were still tiny both in length and width! When he went to return they said he couldn’t as they are end of line and they are now totally ignoring his emails. Online sellers can’t refuse a return, the uk law (uk.gov) gives 14 days for consumer to tell the retailer from receipt & another 14 days to return. It is illegal to deliberately mislead consumers or deceive them about their rights. Terrible customer service and illegal refusal.

Persist and they will be the best slippers ever!
Quick delivery and beautifully packed. I was a little worried that the slippers were too small as my toes touched the end and they were also slipping when I walked. I watched a post on Instagram and read the card inside and am soooo happy I persisted, after day two they were like magical cosy socks moulded to my feet. I love them.

Better customer service needed
Hi there,
My slippers arrived with no paper work. They are too small and I have no idea how to exchange them for a bigger size. I emailed the company but have yet to hear back. Not great customer service.

Firstly, as part of our effort to be sustainable, we are a paperless company, which is why your slippers arrived in recycled packaging and without paperwork. Your order information will have been emailed across to you. Occasionally emails can land in a junk folder, so do check there.
Additionally, all instructions as to how to return and exchange slippers are also fully available on our website under 'Returns'.
We are a small independent company which aims to respond to all emails within 48 hours - which I don't think you allowed to lapse before you posted this 1 star review. As a small brand reviews like this cause damage which is a real shame when we work so hard to keep our standards high - as the majority of our 5 star reviews suggest.
