Quick (expensive) delivery but the plant pot was fantastic, exactly as described.
Not a good supplier anymore
Used to be a very good plant seller. But now they scrapped hand delivery for central London location, plus the plants are in a very bad condition. On top of that, the customer service ignored emails about the defected plants. Well, I will never buy any plants from TheStem and will dissuade everyone from using it.

I have ordered from the stem multiple times and every time the service has been outstanding even during the Christmas postal strikes they replied to my queries straight away and helped me track down my orders. Best experience with a company I've had in years
Guys you never need to look for another website for good quality plants, so a week ago now I ordered a beautiful bird of paradise plant for my partner as she absolutely fell in love with them in madeira Portugal.
I found Stem while searching, where to buy the plant and after looking online I decided to use stem there prices are amazing compared to competitors and I loved the idea of purchasing of smaller companies,
So I made the order and used a code online that made the total even less!,
So after purchasing I had an email unfortunately a team leader fell sick so I believe everyone got a email to let everyone know the orders may be a few days late, I totally respect this when companies are honest as they could of easily just blamed it on postage like many other websites but they didn't, after a few emails I was completely satisfied and I want to give a big shout out too Maddie and the others for fast replies and there kind words!, we was honestly shocked with the level of professionalism and how amazing the plant looks ,hopefully this allows me to upload a photo with my review, I know it told me the height while ordering but wow I never expected it to be so big lush and beautiful, I honestly hand on heart recommend this to everyone and I will be back,I already have a few more plant ideas 💡, oh I even got a £10 off voucher for my next order too so im super chuffed so is my partner when she received my note that I wrote that they put inside the box for no extra fee, its all about the little things with me, I'd give 10/5 stars if I could!
Beautiful plants and amazing service!
I ordered a few plants from The Stem for the first time, I found it really handy that I could specify my delivery date, to make sure I was home. Unfortunately DHL failed to deliver to me on my specified day which then meant my plants were left in my porch for over a week as I was then away for work. I made James aware and he was very apologetic but asked me to let him know the condition of the plants on my return, which I did. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news for two of the plants, however I let James know and before I knew it he had organised replacement plants and let me choose the delivery date. This time DHL did deliver on the specified day and I now have a beautiful Bird of Paradise and Large Form Monstera. The quality of the plants are 10/10 and the quality of the packaging was absolutely superb. Thank you to The Stem for my beautiful plants and for your great customer service.

Very happy with peace lily
I'm extremely happy with my new peace lily. Very healthy plant and came well packaged. Comes with info on looking after plants. The only issue I had was that I picked Friday for delivery but it was delayed by the courier and arrived Monday. DHL aren't the best in my area. Otherwise, I would highly recommend The Stem

The quality of the plants are unbelievable, so well packed and to top it off the DHL driver was polite and friendly which is rare these days.

Absolutely incredible service
Absolutely incredible service. My first experience with The Stem was one where the company went above and beyond to ensure the best customer service level.
My plant arrived with a lot of tiny flies which invaded my bedroom, which wasn't ideal. When I reached out to customer service, they suggested that they send out a replacement. When I said that I didn't want them to make a loss on this order and that I just wanted advice on how to get rid of the flies, they gave me the advice before sending out a replacement anyway.
I hadn't ordered before, so this wasn't a technique to keep a regular customer buying their plants.
The new plant has arrived now and (hopefully!) didn't bring any stragglers with it! Thank you so much James from The Stem.

The terrarium is beautiful! There was a slight hiccup where half my order was missing but customer services got back to me and sorted the issue.
Bumpy delivery!
There was a problem with the pot - only from a bumpy delivery, probably the courier service being too rough, not a problem with the pot itself. The plant that came with it was beautiful and travelled well, arriving in one piece. Stem customer service was speedy, efficient and really accommodating in sorting out the problem and offering to replace then refund the money for the pot.

My Plants arrived packaged beautifully…
My Plants arrived packaged beautifully and the best I've experienced from an online plant store tbh. I'm always nervous about ordering plants online so I was really quite relieved when they arrived packaged as well as they were and delivered on the set date. The plants themselves are in excellent condition (Big leaf Monstera, Ficus lyrata and Speckled Pothos) with minimal if any damage (not really) they are super hydrated, and vibrant! I'm so so happy with my purchases, and will purchase again from the stem.
Also to add: after placing my initial order I decided to change this and I emailed with my request. James responded within the hour and my order was amended promptly!
Thank you at Team Stem for making this a lovely experience from beginning to end.
Poor packaging, delivery and pots 50% more expensive than other sites
I ordered 3 plants and 3 pots from Stem. When they arrived, the big box that said 'Fragile' was upside down and open on my doorstep. The packaging inside was so poor that since it was upside down, the heavy pots were now crushing the plants.
One of the pots was cracked, and no longer in stock so couldn't be replaced.
Stem gave me a voucher to apologise.
After some searching, I later found exactly the same pots on another website that were a lot cheaper than Stem.
Poor packaging, poor delivery and pots 50% more expensive on Stem. I doubt I'll be back.
