During my course, I've had ups and downs, and time's I've struggled to get stuff in,not because I've not wanted too but due to commitments outside...
However, haist jewtha has been nothing but supportive and sympathetic.... he's understood and helped guide me with his honesty and his knowledge.. we get on well and have some very positive banter with each other... he's understood I'm not Brilliant with technology yet he's be extremely patient....

I'm grateful for his experience and expertise and I couldn't reccomend him enough either....

Brilliant course, with great tutor support and good resources.

I did a hybrid course and TTR even allowed me to defer onto a later course to help me fit everything around life.

Hasit was my tutor for level 3. He was absolutely fantastic. All of his sessions were engaging and accessible for all.

Very disappointing! Having gained multiple qualifications throughout my life such as a sports coaching diploma and a bachelors degree in sport. The training room provided extremely poor support and customer services.

The qualifications I gained with the training room - level 3 PT and level 4 nutrition. Most of the content they provide is copied and pasted from Google. In comparison, I learnt a lot more from the level 2 Gym instructor course at Truro college!

1. My level 3 tutor seemed very inexperienced! I wont name and shame.
2. I had multiple tutors, due to lots of holiday leave from my actual tutor. Therefore, had to change and edit a lot of my work.
3. For my level 4 course, my tutor left and the training room did not inform me until I got into contact with them. Lots of time was wasted due to waiting around for a response.
4. Mixed learning resources. Therefore, I had to spend extra time re-doing work. VERY STRESSFUL!
5. I asked multiple times for the director/manager of the course. Not once did anyone provide their email or contact information.
6. When I did complain the "training room investigation team" (career support team) did absolutely nothing.
7. Very slow at replying to emails.
8. For the career support team, minimal guidance and help.

Very disappointed that the certificate is sent via email. Most gyms like to see a hard copy of the qualification.

I could name and shame some of the individuals, however the organisation is in complete denial. I understand that they had lots of tutors and employees leaving, although this does not give them the excuse for the poor services that I received.

I would strongly recommend going to a college or university that provide the personal training, nutrition courses. More importantly learn from individuals who are experienced in that field.

Kerry, my tutor supported me throughout my journey.She supported me to complete the course and understood the struggles that I was dealing with.

I did my Level 2 PT course online and currently nearly completed my Level 3 in person, both with Liz being my tutor. I found the online part more difficult but felt very supported throughout with regular communication with Liz. Doing my Level 3 in person was definitely the best decision. Liz has thoroughly gone into so much detail with our small group of learners and has taken the time with us individual to expand our knowledge on how to be the best coach. I definitely wouldn't feel as confident as I am now if it wasn't for Liz! I'm excited to go on to complete my Level 4 nutrition after this. 100% recommend :)

My level 2/3 PT Course

My Personal Trainer course in Bristol with Liz Shaw was amazing! i would recommend it to anyone. Very well run from Liz, she is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Liz made the course fun, easy to understand and worthwhile, I thoroughly enjoyed my time. I am very excited to move forward with my qualifications in only 6 weeks.

My tutor Liz Shaw has been an absolute diamond! Her support and encouragement throughout the course has made my experience at the training room better than could have imagined. Defo lucked out with her as my tutor. Her knowledge and background in personal training and dance is strong and her teaching style is solid! Thank you Liz and big thanks to the training room!

I started the level 2 and 3 PT course in person on the 16th in Bristol and the course has been excellent. Our tutor Liz was supportive and informed and pointed us in the right direction to pass every step of the way.

A lot of the course requires a lot of work to do from home but it was all well explained and the company provided plenty of resources and information for us to complete the assignments.

Was a great experience and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to do a PT course

Having started my course in February 2020, and losing motivation to complete the course shortly afterwards. I contacted my tutor and was advised after this that my tutor had since left the company. This would turn out to be the best thing that could happen. I was assigned Mark Fox as my tutor and he offered support whenever i needed it, offered rapid responses to any queries i had, mark any work i had submitted often the same day. All of this combined meant that I was able to complete my level 3 in personal training in around 2 weeks. This would not have been possible if it had not been for the work of mark in keeping me on track. All of the modules within the course are easy to track and work through due to every thing available on google documents. I would 100% recommend this company and in particular, Mark. My thanks can never be enough.

After having registered on the course in August 2021, I have concluded the software engineering course has been a complete waste of my time and money, have recently been unable to take the Java exam as the pearson voucher date apparently expired in November even though the voucher says the expiry date is end of February. I was initially unable to take the HTML/CSS exam online due to the proctoring process requiring me to have a clearer webcam, the proctors couldn't see my passport, meaning they didn't let me take the exam. I have taken other online exams and passed their security requirements just fine, having sent my passport as a picture. The software platform on which the courses were delivered were buggy and no more than an online textbook with a few videos here and there. My instructor also left halfway through the course and the company didn't think to inform me. Also, the python exam is just a basic python fundementals exam, the qualification is not worth anything. £1500+ down the drain.

just completed my level 3 qualification through the hybrid way of learning, with the help of my tutor Hasit - who has been great from start to finish , really knowledgeable , rapid with responses and providing all the answers. Now on to level 4!

The best online courses ever I have ever came across with.the My tutor Kerry have been so helpful and supportive by providing me feedback on time and answered all of questions I’ve asked her. Thank you so much Kerry for your support:))))

I started my fast tracked level 2/3 Personal Trainer course pre covid in person, with my tutor Mark Fox, and around halfway through covid happened and I completely lost motivation to complete the course. I contacted Mark around 5 months ago to discuss what was needed to complete the course. I was moved onto the online course and Mark continued to support me through the courses. The guidance and support from Mark was invaluable and I would highly recommend this course, and especially Mark.

Worst decision we ever made choosing this company for our studies. If you know everything and need just paper, then maybe that could be an option. You won't learn anything new, if you have no knowled how to do the excersise properly, they won't bother even to fix/teach you. The only thing what they are interested just to take your money. Due to Covid our exams was canceled, then delayed, which took us one year to rebook it. Then the exam online system was changed, no one even bothered to let me know. Then I had to wait my next exam for a month. They give 3 years to finish your studies, but never remind update you on the curent situation, wvwn the exam results is not updated on the system, so they treat ghat you even hadn't taken them. As we had disruption due to covid we were expecting that the end date will be postponed as well. Normal company should be interested that clients finishing their studies, seems that this one is interested just taking your money without providing promissed services. With our diploma we suposed to get extra Boxing, spining etc. Sertificates, no one was bothered about providing anything at all. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER OPTION STUDYING WITH THEM, AS YOU DO NOT GET KNOWLEDGE, SUPORT, OR ANY INFORMATION. This institution needs to be checked of certain acreditation company for what service they are providing.

My overall experience of The Training Room is positive. Last year, I did my L3 Personal Training course and my 5 star rating is all down to the tutors, who were amazing! Professional, personable, with a wealth of knowledge in the industry.

Martin Hamer was my L3 tutor and I couldn't have done my L3 without him. He made the course interesting, helped with understanding all elements of the course. Martin supported the whole group throughout the weeks, providing us with everything we needed to know, whilst giving us additional hints & tips from his years of experience which I am still using to this day.

Mark Fox was my online tutor when completing my L2 Gym Instructor qualification. Again, Mark was professional, efficient and communication, even though it was virtual, was timely. I never had to wait long for a reply.

I would also like to mention my CDP tutors, Lyndsey Todd & Luke Crossley. Again, they were brilliant and made these additional courses lots of fun, whilst providing me with knowledge to take forward into my career.

My only frustration throughout my experience with The Training Room was with the CPD department (I must state, this is not the CDP courses, it the CDP department who you have to contact to book etc). I found them tricky to deal with and their processes didn't seem to make life easy for students who have paid a lot of money. It seems recorders are either not kept or looked at, as I had to prove I had qualified for a free additional course by sending old email correspondents and bank payments, which I had to take time finding, which was highly frustrating. This could have been easily avoided. The team just didn't ever seem bother. Such a shame!

My overall experience was great! I was slightly apprehensive when booking as there is so much competition out there but I'm so glad I went with the course. My tutor Luke was great! His knowledge and in-depth understanding were next-level and impressive. I really appreciate his help and patience when teaching us. I learned a lot and have enjoyed my time on the face-to-face course! Thanks

They are a bunch of scammers. They put you in a legally binding agreement and they try to hunt you down like a DOG if you miss a payment literally calling up your phone and low key threatening you. DO NOT USE THEM. There's lots of free courses out there, or at least cheaper ones. If you use these guys you'll be sorry.

Also, the 'positive' reviews are probably just paid for. Don't listen to them even if they reply to this review. It's all part of their scheme to get new victims.

Just no support. I have paid extra money to extend my course. Literally begging for help from Tutors. The last time I messaged, prior to asking for extension on my course it took 19 days to get a response. I have spent months crying my eyes out with anxiety. Spent more than I can afford. Wanting to better myself with this course. Absolutely no help since paying extra to extend my course. I'm not even going to try emailing now because it has taken way too long in the past. It’s as though they are waiting for you to run out of time, just so they can get more money out of you. I haven't heard one thing from Tutor - whoever that is now - they don't check in, they don't guide you along the way. Again I am going to run out of time, because I am struggling. I can't believe how much money I have spent on this course. Promised a personal tutor who would be there to encourage and help out on a daily basis. With a reasonable response time. But every time I emailed in the past I was met by automated responses saying I am on annual leave. Tutors left without telling me. I was passed off onto others, not even knowing who. I really want a refund at this point. I just want my money back so I can spend it on a course that I can actually get help on. I want a refund.

Updated: Since writing the original review, they finally answered my emails upon seeing this review. I sent evidence of my email chains being repeatedly sent for months on end. The answer that they didn’t hear from me since August was not true. My tutors left again without notice, I repeatedly called the company and left voicemails to no avail. It appears you only get a response once you write a review. After pushing and pushing for some sort of help, and asking for my money back multiple times, or some form of compensation for what honestly was a scam, I was finally told that the company had gone into liquidation and they would not be able to give me a refund as they don’t have the money.

I got my exam vouchers but I don’t have the study material to revise as they wouldn’t let me even keep the online log in to revise. Take your money elsewhere.

I have just completed the fast track L3 Personal trainer course. overall it was a very good experience. My Tutor Mark Fox was exceptional. He has a wealth of experience of the industry which gave insight beyond what the course teaches, he was very approachable and encourage engaged learning throughout. Mark also was very clear and reassuring when explaining that the company has gone into administration.
Overall the course has a defined and simple layout that made progressing step by step easy with a plethora of resources including how to video guides.
