The Whisky Vault was born from ideas created by Philip and Richard Hawley, a Father/Son relationship, based in Yorkshire, UK. We are an incredibly enthusiastic business and currently run this as an entirely family-oriented project. Since the idea was embraced, many moons ago, we have been hard at work putting all the pieces together, in order to turn our vision into reality. Philip has been collecting rare specimens of whisky for a number of years, but the hobby has since turned into a passion. As time progressed, it was clear Philip had a real eye for quality and that this could become more than a pastime, it was time to put our skills together to create something special, what would later, of course, become The Whisky Vault. Richard has had a lot of experience in the customer service business and has successfully owned a thriving bar in Leeds. This, coupled with an honorary degree in Business and Computing, really gave us a chance to set the ball rolling, we had our key ingredients. With Richard at the helm of all the design and content of the site, plus the set up and licensing requirements, it was left to Philip to effectively be our stock controller and manager, ensuring we had plentiful, but essentially, quality products to offer to the world’s army of whisky lovers. As we go forward, we are confident this is the case. With over one thousand items in our catalogue, there are expressions of whisky that are very rare and indeed sought after. We will endeavour to keep the site exciting and fresh and therefore be consistently adding new products, as and when we acquire them. Having a customer services background, we understand the importance of fair, quality and efficient service. We adhere to this policy relentlessly.

Good communications are essential, to keep the buyer updated especially regarding courier shipping and item tracking. I'm always impressed with a very 'professional' approach and The Whisky Vault management team maintain this. This is the one sure way of ensuring the customer comes back, and I will certainly be looking into their internet 'shop window' on a regular basis; I shall also not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends.

Very fast and safe delivery, professional staff.
My order was processed almost immediately and the delivery of my whisky bottle was very fast: I ordered it on Monday morning and it arrived on Wesnday afternoon (I live in Italy). The bottle was safely packed. I had no problems with the order and whisky choice is wide, even if prices are not very cheap.

Very promt and sincere response
I had a chance to buy a whisky from Whisky Vault and there was an accident during the dilvery. There was some leakage in the bottle. But when I issued the problem, Whisky Vault reacted in very promt and sincere manner. They asked my opinion with several options, and finally I got some refund while I was keeping the bottle.
I'm satisfied with their promt and sincere response.

Fantastic selection of Port Ellen whisky.

The company name is appropriate due to the large selection of Rare and Hard to find (elsewhere) whisky
I have been dealing with the Whisky Vault for a while and have always been thoroughly satisfied with the service and range of Rare collectable whiskies which are stocked and not available at other companies. The service offered is always professional, prompt and helpful and I have enjoyed and appreciated my chats with Phillip and his advice on the best collectable bottles to purchase.
