Don’t rely on item arriving on time or any communication
I placed an order on 19/7 but after 5 days I had heard nothing apart from order confirmation. I did a live chat on 24/7 to see what had happened to the order. It took about half an hour to be told there had been a delay (obvious or what?) but no reason was given. Rather presumed it would be sent out within 24 hours but no sign of that. Did another live chat today (25/7) - another 30 mins - to actually find out there was a stock issue. The items were for a gift on 29/7 so if I had been informed of this when I placed the order I could have made a choice as to whether to order or not. Today I was told to allow another 48 hours for dispatch. There is no guarantee it will arrive on time and I cannot have a refund because it has not been dispatched yet. I have said not to send it if it is not going to arrive on time. I have been told they will keep me informed - watch this space! A more helpful live chat today but unnecessary if I had been told the situation in the first place. Poor communication and organisation from the White Company. I am very disappointed!
