The most unprofessional and unhelpful company of all time

The worst provider of all time. I requested a callback and heard nothing for two months. Then my contract was ending with my current mobile provider which they knew as I had business broadband with them and had been asked when my contract was up for mobile. Suddenly phone starts ringing up to five times per day. Even when told I was not interested the calls kept coming. Cancelled my broadband with them and sent email to say I was being harassed by sales team. Even when I blocked number they kept on leaving long voicemails with nobody speaking. When cancelling broadband was told they would reduce my bill by €6 to €30. I told them I was paying €50 anyway. It is impossible to get in touch with customer service also. I pity anyone who engages with Three. I never ever have come across any company as rude and unprofessional and unhelpful as them. Thousands of 1 star reviews. 1 star is one too many for Three.

If I could give zero stars I would.

If I could give zero stars I would.
The worst scamming broadband provider out there. The broadband speeds are so slow it's like dial up.
I get 1. 34mbp I can't even streem a movie on prime without it buffering.
And they would not let cancel my year contract. And if you go in to the shop you will get no help. Horrible customer service support.

Comreg complain and SAR Request

Comreg complain and SAR Request.
Shocking customer support experience – no resolution after nearly a year

I was charged for data roaming while living abroad, despite removing the Three SIM the moment I landed. I’ve been trying to resolve this since October last year, but the experience has been nothing short of appalling.

The first agent I spoke to lacked even the most basic knowledge. I followed up months later with a different agent — same issue, no progress. I tried again last month, only to be left on hold for over 10 minutes after the agent muted the call without any explanation. I had to return to work without getting anywhere, having wasted my break trying to resolve this.

As someone who works in training within customer support, I find the level of service completely unacceptable. This isn’t about individual agents — it’s clear there's a serious issue with how staff are trained and supported. There seems to be no communication between departments, and no ownership of customer issues.

I've now contacted ComReg and submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) to access all notes, call logs, and recordings relating to my account. After the level of incompetence displayed, I’m genuinely looking forward to reviewing how this was (or wasn’t) handled behind the scenes.

Truly one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Predatory practices

Predatory practices, pressured me out of a legacy plan when trying to buy a new phone, was asked more than 5 times to change the plan.

Old plan: top up by 20, keep the 20 and have all you can eat data and unlimited calls and texts to other three customers.

New plan which I was forced into: Top up by 20, they take the 20 euro, limited data, no data roaming in the UK and free calls have limits.

Terrible company, terrible customer service, over priced, there is now much better options on the market.

Went into Cavan Store for an upgrade on my phone, lady was very nice, she told me I needed a new charger for my new phone, as they had changed, for this I paid €25 when I got home I realised this was not the case my old charger was compatible with my new phone. I didn't open the box, had the receipt and went back to exchange it for a phone cover , met the same lady again, she said they didn't do refunds on accessories, wasn't opened had the receipt, how is this right? Also told me incorrect information that I needed a new charger, very disappointed, people beware.

Complete disgrace

Complete disgrace, approaching fraud
I was basically tricked into a mobile contract as an addition to an internet contract which was not fulfilled on their end. Now I have to remain with this "provider" for 12 months while being charged hidden costs - not having a direct debit in place costs an additional €5 a month, and then they go and cancel the direct debit for no reasons and collect the extra charge.
The invoices are a complete mess that is beyond unclear to anyone, even their own agents - I spent hours in their chat, and those agents are completely unable to assist with anything.

If Zero stars was an option they'd get this

If Zero stars was an option they'd get this rating rather than 1.
We purchased a new phone connection for our daughter on the 25th May with THREE. They sent the wrong phone colour in a box in a plastic bag without any protective packaging.
We rang and explained the phone was the wrong colour and they advised to send it back by registered post which cost us €15 and a trip to the PO.
THREE then cancelled the subscription when we just wanted a correct iphone colour.
As of the 14th July we still haven't received the €399 for the new connection. They have outsourced the customer care where language is a barrier to productive and constructive engagement.
It is clear THREE internal systems such as billing is clearly primitive. It is shocking how the are allowed to get away with such poor and lousy customer service. They have closed many routes to complain. You can't speak to a supervisor, you can't contact them using email or other means to resolve issues. They must rank as the worst company to try and do business with. Multiple phone calls has still not resolved anything. Actually we have been told the refund is being processed expect it back in 21 days. We heard this 3 times. Outrageous. scandalous behaviour.

Can't issue an esim by email to a hotmail email address. Or send a purchase confirmation. Or let the user know that they need to use a non-hotmail account to get anywhere or risk wasting several hours (7 and counting) waiting for the esim, and wasting time on support chat (2 hours and counting) because depending who you get they might not know why their systems are stuffed. Useless.

Manager in Athlone Three Store is so…

Manager in Athlone Three Store is so rude. Talks down to you as if you are stupid and gave no help to a situation that online helpline said that he and his agents could as i was given misinformation. Purchased phone on upgrade was told camera was good and the same quality to all others but was not told by the male employee about it missing the 0.5 feature, i use my phone for video and photo creation for work so therefore the phone was useless to me, i went back to the shop 12 hours later first thing in the morning and was told nothing they can do even though i said i was not told vital information about the phone. was rudely told its common knowledge by the manager , but i don't work in a phone shop so therefore it is not seeing as all other iphones has this feature except the one i got.
Three is a scam with their contracts they get you to sign.

Terrible internet speed

I have a mobile broandband. It is not stable at all. Currently I have 0.5 download speed, imagine. If we are lucky, it goes up to 40/50 download speed but it doesn’t stay there. STRICTLY NOT RECOMMENDING.
