Absolutely awful experience/ customer…

Absolutely awful experience/ customer service. We booked 2 tickets to go into the colosseum, we never had our tickets emailed over to us - they did not go into the spam folder either as this was checked as well. Tried calling the number given which was engaged and the website said they were not accepting emails due to the amount of queries about refunds due to coronavirus. When I finally managed to get in contact with the via Facebook they advised they would not be refunding me even though we had tried to contact them. Absolutely despicable service avoid completely.

Recently I booked a trip to Amsterdam…

Recently I booked a trip to Amsterdam with my family and we made our bookings of the local highlights through Ticketbar. It was a fine experience and we got all the help that we needed and even some good suggestions to add to that. Thanks to them (I would like to mention Gina and Ines in particular), we got a very nice outing/stay in Amsterdam. Thanks again and keep up the good work. From Danny Vandenbogaerde-Belgium.

stressful experience

Found the whole experience time consuming and rather unpleasant.
The booking was straight forward to start with, then turned awkward when asking for the promised discount for additional tickets. Received the wrong discount codes, not working discounts etc. Due to COVID and Catalonia being high risk, with UK enforcing quarantine, I tried to cancel. Some tickets were refunded fairly quick, but with a LOT of chasing. Others, that were indicated on the attractions’ website as refundable (in any way, not just COVID), were not refunded. I thought the process was overall stressful, and unfair. In addition, I Thought that consideration would be given in the current COVID situation but found that extremely limited. Be careful when buying...

Great Service

We had booked a trip of a lifetime to South Africa in October but have had to cancel it due to Coronavirus.
We had purchased non-refundable tickets to go to Robben Island and up Table Mountain so were really very pleasantly surprised when we were offered our money back. Everything was handled so nicely and the money was back in our account in just a couple of weeks from my initial enquiry - Thank you TicketBar ... we shall use you again, once we are given the all clear to travel freely again - I can't wait!

Alcazar refund

We were due to visit the Alcazar in Seville in March and bought non refundable tickets online but were ubnable to go due to the virus. At the beginning of June Ticketbar emailed me to say due to the exceptional circumstances of the coronavirus they would issue a refund which was wonderful news. Having arranged the refund mid June the money was not to be seen in our credit card account until today. However, Gina always investigated and replied to my queries very quickly and positively and the problem is now resolved thanks to her input. Excellent service and we will certainly use Ticketbar in the future.

I want to emphasize the professionalism and seriousness of Ticketbar. Like many others, I was forced to cancel my trip to Spain next September because of COVID-19. Ticketbar quickly accepted my refund request for the Barcelona Pass when the sale was final. Thank you.

Booked a Tour for August

Booked a Tour for August, unfortunately the Airline has cancelled our flights for August, therefore has to cancel the booking. Sent the E-Mail which was answered in minutes, then minutes later, confirmation received from PayPal of refund. Will be booking again with them in April.

I'll surely choose them again

Great job!
I booked the Barcelona City Pass but my flight was canceled due to the COVID19 and the activities in Barcelona too. I asked for the refund and they always answered quickly to all my e-mails. Obviously it needed time to have the refund (I can't even imagine how many demands they had) but today they told me that they did it and that the refund will be effective in few days. I can't wait to do my trip to Barcelona and to choose again them for my Barcelona City Pass because they're honest, professional and very hard worker. My compliments :)

No refund on our Barcelona Pass

Update: I did finally receive my refund for our tickets. I'm giving a 4 star because I do believe it took longer than it should have. I will still use this company when we are able to finally travel to Spain.

Today I had to send an email for my third attempt to get a refund. I sent prior emails on April 14, 2020, and May 26, 2020, to request a refund for our Barcelona City Passes that were purchased on Feb 25, 2020. We were unable to travel due to our flight being canceled because of COVID 19. The first two times I received different standard messages saying they were working on refunds. In their second response, it states they are focused on bookings with a visit date for March, April, and the first week of May since the Park is officially closed for this period. Our trip was for the first week of May. It has been almost two months since our travel date and we have yet to receive a refund.

Good bundles and fair refunding during COVID19

I had tickets to Barcelona for several sights and then COVID19 happened. I was informed in good time that Ticketbar is working on getting refunds. I was returned refunds within reasonable period and I was kept updated. When some parts of the refund was missing, I contacted support, and they said that they extended the period of the ticket's worth until the end of 2021.

Highly recommend Ticketbar!

Long, but worthwhile read! TL;DR (too long; didn't read) at the bottom!

Unfortunately, my flight to Italy was canceled by the airline, due to COVID-19. Of course I had to cancel every single activity, including a river cruise in Rome through Ticketbar. I emailed them, even though the website clearly said they are taking a while to get back to emails due to the overload over coronavirus and they would work on responding to each email as best as they could. Because I poured so much money into my trip I disputed some charges with my credit card for companies I had not heard back from. However, I finally did hear back from Ticketbar's customer service and to my surprise the kindest person, Gina, said they saw my card dispute and accepted it and will refund my payment. I hope everyone uses Ticketbar and sees their good service as many companies do NOT have the same kind of respect and understanding, especially during crisis mode around the world. I'm hoping to reschedule my trip next year and will 100% be using Ticketbar. Even if it isn't in Rome, Ticketbar is accessible across more than 50 cities worldwide! Patience is key, people! We'll get through this soon. Be well and safe and good luck to all.

TL;DR (too long; didn't read): Ticketbar refunded me in full after my airline canceled my flight to a foreign country and I had to cancel all excursions. I highly recommend using Ticketbar for your next trip's activities!

Great service at coronavirus time!!

For few months we booked tickets for Barcelona sights. Due to fact of Corona virus it is not possible to visit Barcelona this year. Therefore I sent an E-Mail to cancel the tickets. The service was perfect!! The tickets were canceled and I received the complete payment back.
Many thanks for the marvelous service!!
We will book the same next next again, of course on your booking internet service.

Gratitude from Brazil

I am from Brazil and bought 3 tickets to the Vatican through Ticketbar. Unfortunately my tour was scheduled for March, during the peak of the pandemic in Italy. I contacted the company and was promptly answered, with my tickets refunded. I would like to register here my gratitude for the way the company conducted my process during this crisis and, especially, to Gina's assistance, who mediated my situation. I will try to travel to Italy in the future and will not give up buying tickets through Ticketbar again. Thank you so much.

Ticketbar did a great job!

Ticketbar did a great job getting me tickets to see the Tulips in Amsterdam and then when The Pandemic happened they refunded my money promptly. All I had to do was check my bank account to see my refund was right there! I will definitely use Ticketbar on my next trip!
