I purchased entry tickets from Ticketbar to a historic site in Barcelona for my upcoming trip in June. I emailed Ticketbar to notify them that I was canceling my trip due to the coronavirus and requested a refund. I was told that the time limit for the refund (on credit card) had expired, however, they could deposit the funds into my bank account. I responded that I was uncomfortable with this type of transaction and instead asked if they could issue a voucher as I plan to reschedule my trip for next year. Ticketbar was happy to save my reservation for a future travel date. I am very pleased with this solution. I have given Ticketbar 5 stars. Gina, the Ticketbar representative, always responded to my emails immediately. I very much appreciate her understanding of the current circumstances and the excellent customer service she provided.
Bad COVID-19 response.....
I have been trying to get a refund from Ticketbar since March 24th by sending them e-mails. On their website, there is no information on what they're doing regarding COVID-19 and refunds, which is a bad look for them. Almost every other website has a banner at the top that you can click on. Also, there's no one to talk to on the phone. I am forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will be avoiding Ticketbar in the future. Extremely bad customer service. You should actually answer your e-mails with a live person who can give a time frame for refunds. Even if you said that you need one more month, if that comes from an actual person with a name, I could file that away and wait. But, with no response other than an automated e-mail, I am disputing this charge with my credit card company.......After they contacted me (see below), magically, I got my refund. Maybe they need to hire more people to make the whole process go faster for other people.

No refund and My tour dates in Barcelona have passed
My tour dates in Barcelona have passed ( May 18/19) I requested a refund since early March and I keep getting a computer generated response each time I email for a follow up inquiry . I see that others have received their refunds in good order...why has mine not been processed and why have I at the very least, not been contacted thus far? Pretty bad customer service despite the current situation.
Post script: I am pleased that you have responded so promptly to my plight and I have changed my rating to 4stars .....but for this hiccup I would highly recommend your company and will surely be using your service again once international travel to Barcelona is once again allowed. Many thanks.

I think everybody has to be a little bit more patient than anytime else. Everybody is working on solution on its best way.

Our group's Rhine River Cruise was canceled
Our group's Rhine River Cruise was canceled for April 2020, so we rebooked for April 2021 and hope travel will be safe by then. Ticketbar was kind enough to refund my unused ticket, so we plan to use them on our trip to see the tulips next year.
No refund, No answer

Like many others my trip to Barcelona was canceled due to COVID-19, Ticketbar gave me a full refund on my Barcelona Card purchase with no run-around. It took a while for them to get back to me because of the number of inquiries they have at the moment, which is to be expected. I appreciate their assistance. we´ve booked tickets for a game of Barcelona CF; the money was refunded within some days as promised.
After the Corona-crisis we will make a new try to make the trip and we will buy tickets via Ticketbar again.

Disgraceful, to say the least.
It is sad to see that, amidst so much going on in the world today, companies like Ticketbar have made no effort whatsoever to accommodate to their customers.
It is one thing for a customer to simply decide not to travel, but when a global pandemic as virulent and devastating as COVID-19 causes the cancellation of all flights in and out of Europe, changes and accommodations should be provided.
To call these extenuating circumstances is an understatement. During times like these, when everyone is fighting to make it through, and companies like Ticketbar are so unwilling to help, it is a true reflection of the ethical code that is so far lacking in their management and policy.
Truly disgraceful.

We are unhappy about not being able to get refunds from Ticketbar for the tours that we booked. There is nothing we can do about the out break of the coronavirus. We have been able to cancel and get refunds from the hotels and all other attractions we have booked EXCEPT FROM TICKETBAR. Book with someone who has guarantees of changes or cancellations. Sandra

Profiting from our misfortune.
We had 5 people traveling to Rome on a vacation almost 18 months in the planning. We have had to cancel it because of COVID-19. The country has been completely locked down at this point. Almost every other place has given us a full refund but not Ticket Bar. This place is determined to keep all of our money for something that is beyond our control. They are keeping all of our money and the only thing we are getting is pointless platitudes.
There are other places to get travel passes, don't spend your hard earned money with someplace that profits off the misfortune of the people they say they serve.

Very good service except for non availability of an attraction on the date and time identified during booking. However, you were quick to propose an alternative time and date, even if it is not our prefered package, i.e. a guided tour of Sagrada Familia. We now have to do with an audio guide instead.

Italy closed its museums due to coronavirus. The company should refund my tickets because I have a non-usable ticket. You know as well as I do that there is no way insurance will refund for it. It is only fair to get my money back from you. Get your guide refunded me immediately as is appropriate. Ticketbar refused. Refund Request due to mis-information
I purchase tickets through them to get access Guide tour within Neuschwanstein Castle but unfortunately I wasnt aware that the only tour time was for the time (which I wouldn't been able to make on time)
I contacted them via email and recieved information within 40mins.
The communication was excellent and was very compromising and I received my refund for it.
Very professional and punctual. I will surely use their service in the near future.
