An absolute joke

An absolute joke. Was riding round for 20 minutes trying to find a free parking spot because there is such limited space available. Meanwhile my app crashed so I couldn’t even end the ride for a while.

Absolutely shocking experience

Tried parking the e-bike but even though a maintenance guy tried helping me (used his mobile device to tell me where there were spaces, it still wouldn’t let me park. He suggested another spot a bit further down, I was walking the bike and out of nowhere it sped up, it was so sudden and quick that I didn’t have time to press the brakes before it sped off. I had to scream at the guy to move out the way (otherwise he would have been hit at speed), it nearly hit his van and then went into a busy main road (thankfully it was a quiet period) and fell down. My phone (iPhone 14 plus) was in the holder and when I picked up the bike my screen had a huge thick white line down the left hand side and the back is smashed. I contacted customer service straight away, just to be told that they don’t cover broken phones even though the bike malfunctioned. I was told that someone would call me back but by the next day I had heard zilch so I called up and went through the whole scenario again, just to be told the same thing. They said that someone would contact me but as yet I have still heard nothing. How can they think that they should not be accountable?! I could understand if my phone had simply fallen out of the holder but even though it fell over, it was still fixed firmly in place, I do have a case for my phone but whenever it’s in the case it doesn’t fit. I really regret not taking the employees details so he could give the version of events but hey, no time for regret.

I told them that I will be taking it further if no reasonable compensation is forthcoming, I’m not expecting a new phone, I just want the screen and back repaired, which I think is reasonable!

I find it quite telling that the majority of their responses are vastly from the very few positive reviews.

My screen will randomly go black but I can use Siri to make calls, I don’t have enough money to replace it or simply buy a new phone as I’m disabled so I’m unable to work, my phone (like most people) is my lifeline, it’s how I’m able to connect with my mental health team whenever I’m in crisis and this has done nothing but add more stress and dissension. I have also got ADD and whenever the phone lights up it has the line and without fail it sends me into sensory overload.

They need to be ACCOUNTABLE, I knew that there were glitches but I can honestly say STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Ending a Tier ride

Wasn't able to end ride as system said location was full despite there being physical room within the limits of the location. Charged £21 for a ten minute ride. I have deleted my account.

Bristol

Bristol, bring back Voi!! Tier are absolutely dreadful. They are really glitchy, the app never works and its almost impossible to speak to someone in customer service and when you do they sound robotic.
The Voi scooters were so much better and their customer service was brilliant. Such a shame. I won't be using Tier anymore, a complete waste of money!

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless, the scooter worked for 3 minutes. Then, support wasted 30 minutes for us, they can't even communicate in English.

AFTER 30 MINUTES, the support told me that the app is "stuck" and I need to reinstall it. Tier should go bankrupt

Craptacular

Can't even get to the chance to have a crappie experience on the rental because the app wont allow me to take a photo. Step up TIER.

nowhere to park in Emersons green! (Tier despite Voi having no such issue)

nowhere to (legally) park in Emersons green (south glos) Tier blame WECA & when contacted (don't expect a prompt response) they say there's nothing they can do. So.. previous micro-mobility provider Voi never had any any issue having places to park their scooters, (presumably agreed by WECA) so once Tier took over you might have expected them to agree to use many of same parking spots.? No, nothing to see/wrong here, Emersons green, not content with havin unreliable buses has no capability for scooters to be (legally) parked (so expect loadsa Tier bike/scooters dumped illegally y'all locals!) so WECA's not interested, the district council says not their responsibility, local councillors don't seem interested, prospective candidates for local mp's no reply either,so its gonna remain a desert or massive dumping ground for Tier vehicles until someone wants to sort this problem out (its been like this since shortly after Tier took over in Oct 23 after expanded beyond Downend) if you're reading this & can help please do?ta

Stay so unbelievably far clear of this criminal company

Awful, awful company. Some issues I've had include:

- Scooters slamming on brakes without user input in the middle of the road
- Scooters randomly accelerating to above legal limits without user input
- Scooter kickstands braking
- Incorrectly stating parking spots are available then taking money from you whilst you look for another
- Incorrectly stating battery as full when it is empty
- Making you do a cumbersome 360 spin for a minute to show your parking area and charging you during that minute.
- Horrendously expensive pricing, way more than the old supplier for no reason
- Terrible customer service, genuinely some of the worst I've ever seen
- Have injured myself on these scooters due to malfunction but customer support took no notice. Said I would get a response in 2 days but never did.

Not a great experience

Not a great experience and after persevering for quite a few months hoping they would get better I have now deleted the app.

Annoying as in theory it is a great idea it is just too unreliable and trying to park can take a lot longer than your actual trip

Very odd payment structure

A great idea and scooters were easy to find (in Aachen) and pick up but the payment thing is crazy. Money in and out my account and I have no idea why. This would make me avoid in future. Also be careful some scooters have the on button sticking down so when you are not pressing it the scooter is still trying to move. Their messaging works quickly to customer service but they didn't solve the money in/out thing.

All sorts of things go wrong, but most severe are issues that prevent clean and easy parking and off-hire, resulting in additional costs incurred. Scooter distribution (Bristol) is really poor meaning availability is really compromised. Also its overpriced. All in all Tier scooters are not fit for purpose. Bring back Voi.

I am beyond furious with Tier Scooters

I am beyond furious with Tier Scooters! Purchased a pass alongside friends, encountered a technical glitch, and got ZERO help from customer service. Despite explaining the issue repeatedly, they brushed me off like I didn’t matter. After a week of back-and-forth, I deleted the app in frustration. Big companies like this should know better than to treat customers like nothing. Don’t waste your time or money here - find a company that respects its customers!

I don't even want to give tier 1 star

I don't even want to give tier 1 star, I cannot believe how many times Tier has without my consent, helped themselves to my bank account, wen I've already paid, they take the same payment for a 2nd time wen I'm asleep and tier is closed.

I've had so many bank cards compromised. I've even deleted my tier account and a week later they are taking £20 quid out my bank..... like Wt f

And if that isn't bad enough, they've even without consent taken money from my monzo account wen they are shut, from my frozen bank card, froze to protect any payments being taken.... but tier managed it.... don't trust your card details in this company's app, TIER IS WORST THAN SPYWARE AND VIRUSES
