The big move
A big thanks you to all the guys involved in our move. The team arrived as said on our move day and worked at a great pace. They were very polite and friendly. Extremely careful with all our furniture, boxes, all our fragile stuff and other bits and bobs.
On arrival at our new home again arrived as said. The transition of all our furniture etc went as smooth as anything. Things were placed in rooms and out buildings as requested.
Our transition from North Lincs to our new home in Aberdeenshire couldn't have gone any better.
Once again a big thank you to the team at Tigers Removals and I would highly highly recommend them to anyone moving house.

Absolutely brilliant house removal service from Geoff, Ian, and Gav. From start to finish they were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They handled everything with great care, worked quickly without cutting corners, and made what could have been a stressful move feel smooth and easy. Nothing was too much trouble, and their positive attitude really stood out. I couldn’t have asked for a better team — highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking removal crew.
Poor
Poor. Turned up late, complained about the amount of belongings to move which I’d paid in full for. Careless, marked furniture. Saw one person throwing my boxes the length of the van. Didn’t complete the task paid for. Would NOT recommend.
If I could give Tigers Removals ten…
If I could give Tigers Removals ten stars I would.
The whole process was easy, efficient and a great price.
Chris initially rang me, arranged to come to my house and view what I needed to move. There was a lot of chaos but he didn't find it an issue at all. He gave me the quote straight away and I was happy with it.
James liaised with me via email and was very helpful.
Moving day!
Wow, Stephen and Mike arrived at 8:30 am and they never stopped. They were so friendly, highly efficient and went above and beyond. I have a large, solid oak wardrobe that due to the layout of my house was impossible to get out. They dismantled it, along with my bed and sofa.
Watching them fit everything on the 7.5 ton truck was like watching masters at jigsaw.
At the other end, 100 mile distance, they unloaded, put all my furniture back together in the rooms I wanted.
Not once did they complain or stop smiling.
Those guys worked their socks off.
Nothing was damaged at all as they were so professional.
I cannot recommend this company enough.
Have had to resort to small claims court process
We were moving house but with a few months gap between our sale and purchase thus meaning a period of storage. Our effects included my model engineering workshop with two relatively heavy machines. James assured me that they had experience of moving these sort of machines. Looking back the signs were clear, boxes repeatedly not delivered when James said they would be. In any event the removal to storage went well enough. When our effects were delivered from store four months later however there was significant damage to the machines and several items missing. Inexplicably items not ours were delivered in error. Despite several very clear letters and emails Tigers are stalling on properly repairing the machines or paying for the damage and lost items. This afternoon I initiated a claim in the small claims court. If you want a reliable service avoid using Tigers. James is a smooth talker but they just don’t look after your stuff despite promises to the contrary.
Fantastic Experience: Gav, Paul & John - AMAZING GUYS!
Firstly, Chris came out, he saw what was needed and gave me a ‘fixed quote’. (I requested full service). He was so friendly and informative. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. More importantly I felt SAFE in his company. Being a single woman, it’s so important to not feel threatened in anyway, and taken advantage of. This did not happen, which is why I would wholeheartedly recommend Tigers Removals.
My ‘packers’ arrived as planned on a Saturday, and did a fantastic job. I cannot tell you how much you need this, or what it does to alleviate the pressure. They were brilliant. Step forward:
The moving day. They arrived promptly at 9.20am, had a text, call beforehand. Then Gav & Paul arrived. (John came later). But they couldn’t have done anything more to help me move. Of course, there was a delay in actual completion, moving into my new home. That’s all about the solicitors, but my removal guys patiently waited, without putting pressure on me, which was already at boiling point by then.
They were all so respectful, so kind, they understood, I could not of asked for more. My ex was on hand, as well as my daughter, but without these guys, Gav, John & Paul, we could never have done it. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. You truly supported me, when I needed it most. You went beyond what you were meant to do, and I wholeheartedly thank you and applaud you for that. Gav, Paul & John. Tiger Removals Limited.
Booked in advance with Tigers Removals…
Booked in advance with Tigers Removals in October 2025 , James was the point of contact, he came to the house to look around and a price was agreed of 650 which included dismantling two large beds and one triple wardrobe .
We were told that 15 boxes , tape and bubble wrap would be supplied in the new year, and the wardrobe boxes would be supplied on the day of removal.
The plan was a full removal, and a 50.00 deposit was paid.
I contacted Tigers Removals in December, and updated with a date for removal which was the 2nd of February 2026.
I spoke to Chris in between the Christmas break to arrange boxes to be delivered and he replied that the office was shut , and that he would have them dropped off in the New Year.
This happened after 3 calls and several arguments with James who was rude shouting and swearing down the phone making excuses of staffing letting them down after the New Year , another excuse of not having access to the yard as someone else had the keys.
I did express how I felt , arguments ensued between myself and James and i stated that his attitude towards a paying customer and the service that they were providing was poor.
I questioned whether on the day we would have issues , and I did think of cancelling the booking .
I wish I had !!!
I messaged Chris about the arguments with James and he replied " sorry if he has been funny with you "
After 3 attempts to arrange a date for the boxes to be dropped off, James eventually brought them to our house. James was clearly in a bad mood when he arrived with the boxes and expressed his frustration at having to go 'out of his way' to do this.
The day of removal 2nd of February.
ABSOLUTE CHAOS !!!!
We were informed the men and the van would be with us at 09.30,
I received a call at 10.30 from one of the drivers Ian , (lovely guy) to explain he was at another job ,and would not be able to get to us until lunch time, due to him being deployed onto another job at short notice.
I called James and asked for an explanation as to why the van was not arriving . James must have been a solicitor in his previous job, as he told me not to worry about it as the purchase won't complete till well after lunch time, telling me to 'calm down' as i expressed my concern about the time. I did state that our solicitors told us It would be before 12 which again he said that won't happen!
The Solicitor called at 11.35 am to confirm completion and that we could arrange to pick up keys.
I called James to update him we had Completed and was told again don't worry , and stay calm, as they will be with us after lunch.
James again was abusive shouting and swearing down the phone totally not understanding to a point that I put the phone down on him as the aggression was escalating , and I thought he would tell me that they would cancel the removal .
We were already feeling stressed about the whole removal and felt pressured to leave the house at a reasonable time for the new owner to move in, as they had contacted the estate agents, asking for the keys.
We hoped it would run smoothly but how wrong we were !!
To save time we decided to dismantle to two large beds ( which was included in the price ) ourselves as we were concerned time was moving on.
The van that turned up was a Luton van with 2 men not a 7.5 tonne truck, which we were told.
Everything was a rush job as the 2 men ( again, nice guys ) began to move our belongings into the van.
Eventually, 4 more staff turned up in 2 more smaller vans to help with the removal, stating that they were in a rush as they had a other job to attend to.
The wardrobe boxes that were supplied, were definately not fit for purpose, they were damp and flimsy and literally fell apart during the removal.
Once the vans were loaded, I assessed the condition of each room and noticed that the carpets on the stairs and landing were filthy from mucky shoes. I know it's not easy keeping the property clean whilst going in and out of the house but it just seemed that no one was bothered about this, due to the mad rush.
We spent time having to clean that, as well as marks all over the walls on the stairs as I would not feel right leaving the property in this state for the new occupants.
Upon arrival to our new house, I was informed that James had instructed the driver not to unload the van until we had paid the full balance. I looked at my phone to see a message saying 'not paid yet' nothing more, the absolute ignorance!!! Boxes were then placed into the wrong rooms ( even though we had clearly wrote on the boxes which room they were going ). We were left in a right mess and everything was just piled up on top of each other.
The wardrobe boxes containing our clothing, had collapsed and crushed our clothes, and the wardrobe was damaged, with a gauge mark to the front of the door and further damaged from them putting them back up without care due to them, again, rushing the job.
Absolute joke of a company, Avoid at all cost!!
What an excellent service
What an excellent service. The guys had a lot to deal with in moving our stuff (very heavy and cumbersome...and a lot of it) and they never complained, even though they were running very late by the time they'd unloaded into our new house. They were professional and polite but more importantly, it was done with good humour. We were mortified at how much trouble they had to go to, so we genuinely couldn't be more impressed with them and the service overall. Well done Tigers Removals!
Great job
Tiger removals were excellent. They moved our stuff into storage then stored it and delivered it to the new house. The removals guys were friendly, chatty and took care with our stuff. They also laid material over the carpets so things were left as clean as possible. They also delivered from storage on a weekend. They did it all at a very good price and we would certainly use them again.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Excellent value. Excellent moving team. Would recommend.
Exemplary right from the start to finish
We felt reassured from our first meeting with James when he came to our house to appraise the job. The whole team were genuinely friendly and supportive all the way through from us needing to change removal dates with Chris due to Solicitor hiccups to the actual move on the big day. They arrived exactly on time, everything went according to plan just as promised it would.
We could not have asked for more. Special thanks to Dale, Gav and Mark who worked unstintingly all day getting the job done. They were great ambassadors and a credit to the Company. We would definitely highly recommend Tigers Removals from our experience +++++++

I am so glad I have read the reviews of this company before using there services I did receive a quote where Tiger removals did come out on top on this occasion but as a company with many house clearances required we needed to check the customer service policy and complaints policy but they don’t appear to be visible on the website so we decided to go with a different company to ensure we went with the right company for our business looking at the reviews we are glad that we did

I wouldn’t have these cowboys move my worst enemy, if there are any issues at all you’re either made to feel like you’re the problem and an inconvenience or you get shouted at by the misogynistic owner. I had 3 quotes for our removal, Tiger were best price although when Chris came round he barely looked anywhere, gave it the big I am and left. They came highly recommended by one of my friends so I took them on, they also got business from the person buying my house because I gave them their details, nice job for them! Chris told me he’d drop some boxes off for me, don’t bother. Took them to my buyers and told me to pick them up. Then when the guys turned up they had no wardrobe boxes, James told us that was because we didn’t order wardrobe boxes and we’d have to source them ourselves, when I pulled out my invoice and we had they made us feel like a total inconvenience, having to drop them off later that day. Can’t fault the guys who moved us, they were great but I later found out from Chris that they slagged us off the whole day. I don’t believe they did but that’s what Cretin Chris shouted at me down the phone. They told us they couldn’t bring our expensive patio table with them in the van because they didn’t have the tools to move it. Said they’d drop it off later that day, never came. I chased it and was given another day for drop off, never came. This back and forth went on for over two weeks until finally 4 blokes turned up at my new door with my daughter the only one in. She opened the door and they made her feel very uncomfortable with their remarks, laughing at her and amongst themselves, disgusting behaviour towards a 17 year old girl. Then the service got really interesting. My patio table was left in bits on the back. I called Cretin and he laid into me, telling me anyone with half a brain could put it back together, that I was disgusting for asking for their complaints process and that I should go back to hoovering….my table still lays in bits on the floor because this half a brain can’t find the screws for it, the 4 blokes between them couldn’t even drop them off with the table. This company is a joke, please don’t hire them, you’ll regret it unless you enjoy being shouted at by a small man who thinks he can intimidate women. Cowboys isn’t a strong enough C word for this business.
Great
We had Ian, Brad and Dylan doing our move. Very friendly and helpful team. Felt at ease with them. It was a long day but they worked very hard. Would recommend. Thanks guys 👍
Over-promised and under-delivered
Over-promised and under-delivered. Would not recommend.
We paid a deposit and from the very start things were unreliable. Boxes were promised on two separate occasions and never turned up. When I raised concerns about how I could trust them to arrive on moving day, I was reassured repeatedly that removals are different, teams are allocated separately, and everything would be fine.
Moving day itself was incredibly stressful. ETA was 9-9:30am. We received multiple texts saying “on the way” and “10 minutes away.” Half an hour passed — no arrival. More messages followed saying it wouldn’t be long. Eventually I received a call that came across as arrogant and dismissive. I was told we were stressing, there was no apology, and that arrival times are “just estimates.” I was also told, “Anyway, you haven’t paid,” despite the £100 deposit already being paid (which they had incorrectly listed as £50 on the invoice — I had to send proof). I made it clear the balance would be paid once the team actually arrived.
I was then sent a tracker showing the van was probably 50 minutes away, despite being told “10 minutes.” By this point it was 10:30am and I was in tears, ringing other removal companies on completion day.
We were originally quoted two vans, then reassured one would be enough. We were told the van was “big enough,” that we had “good lads,” and that I needed to “calm down.”
They finally arrived at 11:15am.
To be clear: the lads themselves were lovely — polite, helpful, and hardworking. When I asked why they were late, they explained they had been made to unload another van before they were allowed to leave.
However, this company is supposed to remove stress — not add to it, its the first time we have used a removal firm to help and make it easy! My husband, his father and I had to help load and unload to avoid the job running into the night. We exchanged at 12pm, buyers were waiting for keys, and time was critical.
Despite being told one load would be enough, it wasn’t. The garage hadn’t been touched, garden items were left, and there were still bits in the house. A second full trip was needed. The team finished at 6:15pm — and that’s only because we helped. Otherwise this would have gone on until very late. Our buyers were given their keys at 6.30pm!! Thankfully my husbands mum had cleaned it throughout the day ready for handover!
The lads also weren’t properly equipped — no trolleys, no lighting once it got dark. They were incredibly grateful for our help, which says a lot about how stretched and unsupported they seemed. They were great lads — polite, hardworking, and likely underpaid and pulled from pillar to post.
Unfortunately, dealing with James was the opposite experience. Rude, arrogant, dismissive, and never once took responsibility when things were clearly going wrong.
Good removal men. Poor management. Appalling customer service.
I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with someone so rude when they were so clearly at fault.
Avoid like the plague

Great service
Great service, arrived on time and packed all our stuff quickly, nothing too much trouble, worked incredibly hard.. Then 350 miles later unloaded with the same efficient good humour. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks for your help.
