Right said Fred
I wanted to say a big thank you to Fred and the team who were great. They really inspired confidence and were very positive guys to have around. They also worked really hard.
I can happily recommend Tiger removals to other folk in Sheffield.

I am so glad I have read the reviews of this company before using there services I did receive a quote where Tiger removals did come out on top on this occasion but as a company with many house clearances required we needed to check the customer service policy and complaints policy but they don’t appear to be visible on the website so we decided to go with a different company to ensure we went with the right company for our business looking at the reviews we are glad that we did

I wouldn’t have these cowboys move my worst enemy, if there are any issues at all you’re either made to feel like you’re the problem and an inconvenience or you get shouted at by the misogynistic owner. I had 3 quotes for our removal, Tiger were best price although when Chris came round he barely looked anywhere, gave it the big I am and left. They came highly recommended by one of my friends so I took them on, they also got business from the person buying my house because I gave them their details, nice job for them! Chris told me he’d drop some boxes off for me, don’t bother. Took them to my buyers and told me to pick them up. Then when the guys turned up they had no wardrobe boxes, James told us that was because we didn’t order wardrobe boxes and we’d have to source them ourselves, when I pulled out my invoice and we had they made us feel like a total inconvenience, having to drop them off later that day. Can’t fault the guys who moved us, they were great but I later found out from Chris that they slagged us off the whole day. I don’t believe they did but that’s what Cretin Chris shouted at me down the phone. They told us they couldn’t bring our expensive patio table with them in the van because they didn’t have the tools to move it. Said they’d drop it off later that day, never came. I chased it and was given another day for drop off, never came. This back and forth went on for over two weeks until finally 4 blokes turned up at my new door with my daughter the only one in. She opened the door and they made her feel very uncomfortable with their remarks, laughing at her and amongst themselves, disgusting behaviour towards a 17 year old girl. Then the service got really interesting. My patio table was left in bits on the back. I called Cretin and he laid into me, telling me anyone with half a brain could put it back together, that I was disgusting for asking for their complaints process and that I should go back to hoovering….my table still lays in bits on the floor because this half a brain can’t find the screws for it, the 4 blokes between them couldn’t even drop them off with the table. This company is a joke, please don’t hire them, you’ll regret it unless you enjoy being shouted at by a small man who thinks he can intimidate women. Cowboys isn’t a strong enough C word for this business.
Great
We had Ian, Brad and Dylan doing our move. Very friendly and helpful team. Felt at ease with them. It was a long day but they worked very hard. Would recommend. Thanks guys 👍
Over-promised and under-delivered
Over-promised and under-delivered. Would not recommend.
We paid a deposit and from the very start things were unreliable. Boxes were promised on two separate occasions and never turned up. When I raised concerns about how I could trust them to arrive on moving day, I was reassured repeatedly that removals are different, teams are allocated separately, and everything would be fine.
Moving day itself was incredibly stressful. ETA was 9-9:30am. We received multiple texts saying “on the way” and “10 minutes away.” Half an hour passed — no arrival. More messages followed saying it wouldn’t be long. Eventually I received a call that came across as arrogant and dismissive. I was told we were stressing, there was no apology, and that arrival times are “just estimates.” I was also told, “Anyway, you haven’t paid,” despite the £100 deposit already being paid (which they had incorrectly listed as £50 on the invoice — I had to send proof). I made it clear the balance would be paid once the team actually arrived.
I was then sent a tracker showing the van was probably 50 minutes away, despite being told “10 minutes.” By this point it was 10:30am and I was in tears, ringing other removal companies on completion day.
We were originally quoted two vans, then reassured one would be enough. We were told the van was “big enough,” that we had “good lads,” and that I needed to “calm down.”
They finally arrived at 11:15am.
To be clear: the lads themselves were lovely — polite, helpful, and hardworking. When I asked why they were late, they explained they had been made to unload another van before they were allowed to leave.
However, this company is supposed to remove stress — not add to it, its the first time we have used a removal firm to help and make it easy! My husband, his father and I had to help load and unload to avoid the job running into the night. We exchanged at 12pm, buyers were waiting for keys, and time was critical.
Despite being told one load would be enough, it wasn’t. The garage hadn’t been touched, garden items were left, and there were still bits in the house. A second full trip was needed. The team finished at 6:15pm — and that’s only because we helped. Otherwise this would have gone on until very late. Our buyers were given their keys at 6.30pm!! Thankfully my husbands mum had cleaned it throughout the day ready for handover!
The lads also weren’t properly equipped — no trolleys, no lighting once it got dark. They were incredibly grateful for our help, which says a lot about how stretched and unsupported they seemed. They were great lads — polite, hardworking, and likely underpaid and pulled from pillar to post.
Unfortunately, dealing with James was the opposite experience. Rude, arrogant, dismissive, and never once took responsibility when things were clearly going wrong.
Good removal men. Poor management. Appalling customer service.
I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with someone so rude when they were so clearly at fault.
Avoid like the plague
Jacko and Aj the removal masters

We moved from East Yorkshire to the North of England. The price was competitive
The two guys James & Chris were very well organised and the service was excellent. Friendly local firm , would highly recommend.
Great service
Great service, arrived on time and packed all our stuff quickly, nothing too much trouble, worked incredibly hard.. Then 350 miles later unloaded with the same efficient good humour. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks for your help.

This was a brilliant team of cheery guys. we had a tricky move, down a long path And they were absolutely brilliant. They never stopped and were very careful. Would highly recommend!
Probably one of the worst moving house…
Probably one of the worst moving house experiences I have had to endure. The removal team where ill-equipped with the skills, tools and van to complete the job.
I paid an extra £300.00 for the dismantling and re-assembly of 3 beds (two bunk beds). The wooden bunk bed was not taken down (I was told one or two allen key bolts were threadbare; not sure how, when this was only put up once). This needed replacing. None of these were correctly reassembled. The metal bunk bed was not completely put up and was partially assembled incorrectly (ladder not fitted, safety barriers put on wrong, bottom base put on wrong way; missing bolts; threadbare bolt due to it being put on wrong). The master wooden bed was not put up securely (it almost collapsed when I got on it, and was missing a bolt from the frame).
Our working Hotpoint tumble dryer was damaged in the move. This no longer works and again needs replacing.
Lost bolts and screw fixings for our metallic floating shelf unit and bed.
Damage living room corner unit (dented bottom, unit now wobbles)
To add matters worse, a third of our goods were left in our old home, and not part of the initial move and the removal team ran out of time and left several items outside our new house.
I would hate for anyone to go through this as we did. Please review customer feedback before using this company for your move.
Tigers recently moved me from Yorkshire…
Tigers recently moved me from Yorkshire to Warwickshire. James gave me a great quote for moving and at short notice they had to store my furniture for a week. The guys who moved me in and out were great. Highly recommended best price great service. Kerry
Brad and Ajay have worked for hours…
Brad and Ajay have worked for hours doing a full house move from a 4 bed house, to a 3 bed dorma bungalow. The bungalow was up a seriously long dark drive which the van wouldn't fit up, this meant a hike from the van, endless. The lads remained so polite. I commented I hope they are being paid well, to which the reply was £90 for one and £140 for the driver. To think we paid £1000 and this is all they get makes me feel they are not appreciated it doesn't even equate min wage. Great service they need paying properly.
From start to finish fantastic…fantastic customer service!
From start to finish fantastic experience! Initial discussions and quotes where great, willingness to adapt to the usual move changes at short notice great and the lads we had worked their socks off non stop! Everyone I spoke to was so polite a respectful! Very helpful! I found them online and took a risk as you do from good reviews and I would definitely use these again!
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Cannot recommend this company enough - from start to a very late finish (not their fault !!) the team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble - the entire team went above and beyond - they were quick and efficient and mindful of not causing any damage both to my previous and new properties.
Wish I could give them more than 5* as they truly deserve it
MANY MANY THANKS FROM A VERY GRATEFUL CUSTOMER
Efficient and fairly priced
Ian and his mate moved me yesterday 24th November. They arrived just after ten in the morning. Both really nice guys they got on with the loading and were very efficient. Would recommend this company for removals.
Wet and Rainy
We were moved on a wet and rainy day. Steve and Ben from the compnay did an excellent job, professionally and swiftly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are a credit to the company.
Absolute Perfection From Tigers Removals
Well what can I say about this company and especially their two employees Steve & Bill.
Quoted for a move from one of the owners Chris and then held the date provisionally based on times to complete.
Eventually a date set and Steve & Bill turned up to what I can only say was a 100% perfect experience.
They treated my furniture and goods as if it was their own, they could not do enough to help and I would highly recommend this company if you are in the market for moving anything.
Can’t recommend these guys enough
Can’t recommend these guys enough, very friendly, pleasant and brilliant at their job. Made it effortless and easy and hung around until late evening until we were ready to move in - great team for our move from Hunslet - 5 stars plus for us… Pete and Nairi
