GREAT HELP

A GREAT WAY TO GO IF YOU ARE OVER EXTENDED.
I WAS SCAMMED OUT OF $34,000.00 OVER A SERIES OF CREDIT CARDS. THE ONLY TWO OPTIONS I HAD WAS TO FILE BANKRUPT OR TO GO WITH DEBT REDUCTION. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SETTLED EVERY ACCOUNT IN A TIMELY MANNER.

It is a regret.

The person I spoke with, in the call center, was as helpful as she could be. It is not her fault.

Rather it is Timberline's method of customer service.

The web site shows inaccurate information, there is no record of the amount paid, current balances, or other information about the accounts.

Very frustrating company to deal with. I regret having enrolled in this program.

Already wrote a review before

Already wrote a review before. Nothing happened. No one contacted me. Worst experience Of my life. HORRIBLE communication. Because of a mistake on YOUR end, I have to deal with the repercussions of my credit score dropping, preventing me from doing some very big life changes. Negotiator Steven has no urgency And his communication is a huge part of this review. I literally feel like I’m just dancing around in circles because all I get is excuses. I hope others don’t get sucked into this like I was. Initial associate was great at telling me everything I wanted to hear to convince me to enter the program by sugar coating the reality of what happens. This program will work for some, but remember that you will be harassed to no end by creditors, your credit score will plummet. Negotiations don’t even start on an account until the money you put into the program builds enough to settle an account. The end result if you stick with the program might bring some results, but it’s not a pretty picture in the beginning. If that doesn’t bother you, then this program might work for you. Maybe I could accept it more if someone on your team actually followed up and communicated. Beyond frustrating. I will never promote this program. There are better ways. I want to be done with this program so I can move on. You guys have my money and now I’m in a ridiculous waiting game.

Since my debt consolidation program…an

Since my debt consolidation program started with Timberline Finance started in May of 2018, I was a bit skeptical about it. But, I was wrong, few months later I started seeing results. I don’t how I would have been able to handle the situation to pay back those creditors. I am thankful to the whole team at Timberline Finance. Thank you guys for your help and support.

Waiting for over two months…

I’ve been calling for over two months now to graduate out of the program, but no success. No one can give me an answer on what’s the reason for delay even after I paid the pending amount in full on 15th Nov, 2019. While the agents on the phone are courteous - they have time and again been unable to respond, always referring to the negotiations department that has so far not provided any explanation. It shouldn’t be this cumbersome to graduate out after paying the amount owed in advance.

Let's hear it for JACKIE!

I'd like to thank to this time to THANK Jackie! She's always on top of her game; calling to remind me of my payments and it's great because we are busy and sometimes lose track of what is needed and then she lets me pay the following day if it's too late. THANK YOU SO MUCH JACKIE! Today she saved my life-financially! That's why it's called financial services! I get to keep my car and pay for repairs at a minimal price. We need more PEOPLE with customer service like you! Thank you.

Timberline has been doing a great job…

Timberline has been doing a great job in handling my credit situation. Some people may have given them a poor rating but being in the situation I was in; I couldn't have got the job done any quicker. They have already paid off some of my debt being over a year in program already. My credit score is constantly going up also. Kudos to Timberline.

I wish I did this earlier

To be honest with everyone here, having debt above $20,000 is extremely difficult to manage. Now, take me 60K that I enrolled with Timberline just 7 months ago and tell me that I would have 3 out of 7 accounts already settled, I would’ve been in awe. This process from start to finish has allowed me to get back on track with my savings, as well as finally see an end to this mountain of debt that was always rising, year after year. Stick to your plan, make your payments, and let the results speak for themselves. Thank you Timberline!

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't walk, run away from this company that preys on people in a desperate financial situation. I have been given misinformation and have been promised actions repeatedly that have turned our to be blatant lies. This has been, by far, the worst experience with a company I have had in my 48 years of life. Don't be fooled by the empty promises and horrible customer service offered by these scam artists.

great staff systems kinda screwed up

so far everyone i talk to is great but they keep sending me emails telling me they made a agreement with one of my creditors and to respond to the email with the last 4 digits of my social security number and say I approve and accept the offer which I do and they just keepi g sending me the same email and say i made anverrori hope they are able to figure this out

Not Recommended!

We have been enrolled in the program for two years. To date, only 8% of our accounts have been settled. There are still outstanding accounts that were promised to be settled 6-9 months into entering the program. I have called several times to stress the urgency of getting the remaining accounts settled, however, the remaining accounts still have no resolution. I keep getting the same answer every time I contact Timberline. Two of our accounts have gone into litigation, one due to a Timberline personnel error. When we began the program, they explained that our accounts would be settled 6 to 9 months into the program. Now, 24 months later, there are still several outstanding accounts that are not being negotiated. So far this has been a miserable experience that I would not recommend to anyone.

dont Ruin your credit!!!!

The customer service has been good. But the debt negotiating is not. It wasn’t sugar coated for me so I brought it on myself I guess. I’ve been in the program for 4 months & my credit has been shot. I opted out of the program & am handling my 3 debts on my own. It ended up being better for me in the long run. Please talk to your creditors before entering this program. I wish I did, & now I know I can pay off through them with a payoff program of 5 years. All 3 of my creditors had the same program. Don’t ruin your credit!!!
