Excellent service from Time Tunnel Models. I placed an order late on Thursday and received it Saturday morning. Fast by anyone's standards. Prices also excellent.

Really rude and antagonistic company. A Scalextric car broke and the guy decided to blame and shame my son. It was actually while we were using the set for its intended purpose that MY car flew off the track and broke. The set claimed to have magnetic features, limiters on the speed (which were being used) and also had barriers all to prevent the cars from flying off the track. Sadly this wasn’t the case and the car broke so easily. I tried to send the item back and was told they would not give a full refund so left them negative feedback on eBay after they didn’t reply to my messages. Once negative feedback was received, they did reply but refused to replace the broken car. Instead they offered to ‘repair’ the car (which could take up to 30 days) if I removed the negative feedback. This was less than ideal when it was a Xmas present. They then sent a series of antagonistic messages then claimed I was being rude and offensive. Really low that they decided to insult my son then lie about what had happened. Saying things like ‘good luck when your son learns to drive and crashes his own car’ seemed petulant, unnecessary and really irrelevant.
Thankfully when I contacted the manufacturer of the Scalextric set, they apologised and sent out a new car plus an extra one. Maybe Time Tunnel Models can learn from this example of good customer service but I doubt they will because they don’t seem to be very interested in listening, just making assumptions and lashing out.

Update: eBay feedback was removed as it turned out that eBay were at fault here. As you stated, you didn’t receive my initial message that I showed to you in my sent folder. Not sure why you haven’t mentioned this bit. Also not sure what you mean about the review being removed as I didn’t leave a review just the negative feedback for the grumpy communication.
Making up quotes about what I said is also pretty low.

Not going to reply further after this but it’s pretty hypocritical to lie so much and call someone else a liar and fantasist. I had actually forgotten about this issue until I noticed yesterday that you had decided to add further insults as a follow up to positive feedback you had left me.

Admittedly reviewing an ebay purchase here, but having also bought direct and experienced great service I just wanted to share.
A minor problem with a rc car was quickly responded to, identified and a solution delivered all within two days. Absolutely brilliant.
