Rude!

I normally enjoy coming to Tim Hortons, but my recent visits have been disappointing due to the behavior of one crew member whose shift seems to start in the afternoon. She’s consistently rude, lacks basic customer service skills, and responds to simple questions with sarcasm or attitude. It's really off-putting and creates an unwelcoming environment. A little politeness goes a long way in customer service, but unfortunately, that seems to be missing here. I hope management addresses this soon, as it affects the overall experience.

Avoid Tims Financial (and Neo Financial)

Like other recent reviewers, I was promised a sign up bonus for getting their MasterCard, but just found out today they're refusing to honour their promotion and are ignoring requests to remedy the situation, despite escalating the situation with Tims Financial, Neo Financial, and CreditCardGenius.

DO NOT get a credit card from this company. Stay away from Tim Hortons Financial and Neo Financial.

Tim Hortons doesn't honor promotions

The worst experience as a Tims Financial customer, they do not honor deals, neother via Credit Card Genius, nor via direct registration to get a free tumbler. In both cases escalation didn't yield any results, will be closing my partner's and my cards shortly. Stay away from these crooks!

They finally paid out the $100 bonus

AVOID Tims Financial credit cards (and Neo Financial)! They were supposed to pay out a $100 referral bonus through CreditCardGenius, and refused to do so. they tried claiming that the applications were fraudulent, but in fact it is them who are the fraudsters!

UPDATE May 6: They finally issued the $100 bonus for the credit card. I have changed my review accordingly, though it's only 3 stars since they never would've honoured it without public criticism

Bait and switch

Signed up for the Tims Financial credit card with the promise of $100 through a referral site. Tims did not pay the site and therefore they did not pay the user. Hundreds of people were declined the referral payment while Tims gained many credit card applications. Gross tactic, bad customer service, never again. Did not get what was promised

Tims Financial Credit Card Bonus Not Given

Signed up for the Tims Financial credit card with $100 bonus through Credit Genius referral site. Tims did not pay Credit Genius and they did not pay me. Credit Genius made me wait 2 months only to tell me I will not be getting the bonus I am entitled to. Bad tactics, customer service. Avoid Tim’s Financial & Credit Genius at all costs.

scam card

I signed up for the Tims Financial credit card through a referral offer on CreditCardGenius, which was supposed to pay out $100. Turns out Tims, Neo Financial, and CreditCardGenius were all involved—but none of them took responsibility when the referral payout never came. Tims didn’t pay the referral site, and as a result, hundreds of users, including myself, got nothing. They gained a wave of new credit card applications through misleading tactics, then ghosted us when it came time to deliver. Extremely poor customer service and a shady experience overall. Never again.

Tim’s Financial is a total mess

Tim’s Financial is completely untrustworthy. I applied for their Tim’s Secured Mastercard through a CreditCardGenius referral that clearly promised a $100 cashback rebate upon approval. I was approved, submitted the required proof — and still, they refused to confirm my approval to CreditCardGenius, effectively blocking the rebate. Their support team was useless, and their affiliate department went completely silent, leaving dozens of customers in the same situation. This is a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. Do not trust this company with your money.

Stay away from Tim's Financial!

Stay away from Tim's Financial!

Promoted a $100 sign-up bonus through a referral site for their Tim's credit card and ultimately did not pay anyone who applied and got approved.

Nothing fraudulent about the applications but they refused to honor what was promised. They are the fraudsters!

Don't support these guys

ZERO stars if I could. Signed up for their useless credit card but was promised $100 as sign up bonus. Didn't get anything and they blamed it on fraudulent activities from others. Took easy way out not to pay the thousands of people that applied. Trash company with trash food.
