Love my T-Touch Connect Solar
Love my T-Touch Connect Solar it's an almost-smartwatch. Looks good but not distracting. Solar charging means the battery lasts months between charges.
Watch broke after only two years
Watch broke after only two years. I have emailed Tissot twice and called them, I never got an answer or reply to my emails. Very disappointed, would never buy a Tissot watch again. They look good, but really are cheap rubbish.
Shiny, but can't keep the time.
If you like a shiny thing on your arm, but don't ever need to know the time then this is the braclet for you.
When i first had it, it lost a minute a week, now it looses a minute a day, if not more. The amount of meetings I've been late too and trains I've missed is embarrassing. The only thing i like is the saphire crystal glass which makes it still look like a nice shiny braclet.
Very expensive and unsustainable brand
Very expensive and unsustainable brand! They claimed to be a high-tech brand but overall a lowcost Swatch watch would do a much better precise job on a long term and costs 4times less. Basically with Tissot every 3 years when the battery needs to be changed you need to make a full service costing 110euro otherwise it doesnt work anymore so if you refuse to put more money you end un throwing it!
TISSOT Everytime Large Issues
I purchased a TISSOT Everytime Large watch, which came out the off box with a miss-aligned seconds hand. Since then its needed a new battery every 6 months. On opening the watch to replace the battery, I noticed there was a movement and a lot of plastic. Not the sort of quality for a £150, now £210 Swiss made watch, I would expect. I binned the watch in frustration with its reliability as used for work. My last TISSOT.
My Tissot PR 100 Sport arrived in a box…
My Tissot PR 100 Sport arrived in a box that was damaged inside, how I don't know. The clasp has scratches and the strap is 2 cm smaller than I ordered. Lastly the colour doesn't match up on the images. I have e-mailed with no replies, tried to call to only get a answering machine and no one returns my calls. Now I am stuck with a new scratched watch with a too small strap I have to pay for to get resized. Shockingly poor service.
Just a big thank you to Tissot UK who…
Just a big thank you to Tissot UK who repaired my watch recently, they could not have been more helpful and efficient, I have 5 Tissot watches, they are a great time piece for all.
NEVER BUY TISSOT.
Reading the reviews about how totally poor Tissot watches are, I don’t feel so bad about posting the following:
Basically, it’s not a time piece but a Goddamned joke. I wish I hadn’t spent over £500 on junk. Fed up. It went back to the ‘fixers’ in Southampton - twice. Last year and the year before. They said ‘nothing wrong with it’. I waited two months for its return both times. Ludicrous. They replaced the battery. So what. It DOESN’T FUNCTION. It’s not a time piece.
I’ll never buy from this crappy company ever again.
Tissot Connect = Fail
Bought Tissot connect. Have two Tissots 1 mechanical other T Touch Solar. Great no bother for last 7 years. Tissot Connect - wow great, bought in Jun, arrived in Jul returned in Aug. T-Connect software and Connect watch continuely disconnect. Formatted watch several times, latest firmware for watch, T-Connect installed and removed x4. Still an issue. I'll format my phone. Still same problems. Contacted Tissot via T-Connect app. Nowt over 4 weeks, telephone number rings out or leave a message. Gutted but had to send it back as their first venture into smart watch world hasn't been great. Thought it was me at first then you check the forums, same issues, no answers. Some live with it, hats off to you. For nearly £1k very poor Tissot. Minor point Tissot, if your going to put a vibrate unit in a watch that size make sure people can feel it. My alarm was like a feather touch on wrist. Wouldn't wake the living never mind the dead.
I've always liked the design of Tissot…
I've always liked the design of Tissot watches, especially the minimalist design of the 1853. I had a bad experience with my first one though many years ago with the battery needing replacing almost every 4 months. After using solar powered watches for several years after that, I was given another Tissot (mechanical) as birthday present. However, this lost several minutes over the course of a week. It was returned and exchanged for a battery operated Tissot which was fine for about a year, but this now also randomly stops which is only temporarily fixed with a battery change. This is the only brand of watch that I have owned with such a problem. Tissot do not seem to be the quality brand that they convey. Going back to solar, but definitely not an over-priced Tissot solar!
Bought watch for son’s 18th birthday
Bought watch for son’s 18th birthday. Strap was faulty with non serviceable link closest to the watch falling apart after wearing just four times. Having to pay for repair as it is deemed ‘wear and tear’ by Tissot and Goldsmiths. A complete joke on both companies. I would serious spend your money elsewhere. Low quality tat.
Ridiculous customer experience
Ridiculous customer experience. NEVER buying a tissot again. Bought a $1200aud women’s automatic watch which after a few weeks started running fast by 10min. I asked how to return it or get it fixed and the ONLY way was to take it all the way back into Melbourne CBD during the middle of lock down. I had to go back to the cbd to pick it up upon repair.
Within another two weeks. It had the SAME problem. I asked if I could post it at their cost so i wouldn’t have to go into the city with kids in tow. But this was not acceptable. I had to go back in person. The sales reps denied there was anything wrong with the watch. They suggested it was MY day to day making it magnetised. I have an office job I don’t operate machinery or anything magnetic. I asked if they could post it back to me once repaired which would save me just one out of a total of four commutes to the city. Denied.
This whole time. They made out as if I was an inconvenience.
I am just SO disappointed with this whole experience. It’s absolutely appalling.
I got the most wonderful experience…
I got the most wonderful experience with the Tissot service here in Switzerland. I bought my Tissot in Barcelona years ago and now there was some problem with the digital component. My watch was repaired for free and sent back to me for free in a very short time. All correct! Great service!! Merci Tissot!
my Tissot was £385 From BeaverBrooks
my Tissot was £385 From BeaverBrooks, I bought it 5 years ago and bought a battery from Timpson in Sainsburys with a life time guarantee and never had a problem, and would recommend Tissot to any one and Timpson
Bought a mid line tissot from Macy's
Bought a mid line tissot from Macy's. About 2 months in, stopped working. Sent to tissot (swatch in the USA) who fixed and noted it had been misused. Which was utter crap. They said they would fix but warranty was no longer in effect. Months later it stopped again. Will never by another. I hate this because i loved the actual watch. I'll Spend my money elsewhere
Bought a rather nice-looking watch for…
Bought a rather nice-looking watch for my sons’ special birthday from Tissot, thought I was dealing with a good professional company.
How wrong I was, the watch was not delivered when they said, and didn’t appear until a week later missing his birthday. So I had to send it back as I had found something else to give him on the day.
Filled in their online customer service, week went by no communication from them.
Tried again a week later, still no communication from them, tried twice more nothing.
Rang the service department as customer service call number just leaves messages, helpful here they put me through to someone in London, they said someone would call and arrange pick up of the watch which they did next day and I would be refunded. Needless to say after 8 days still no refund, tried calling just answer machine which they ignore.
looks like a county court claim will be the only way of getting my money back.
Awful buying and returning experience
Bought a relatively inexpensive Tissot watch for my son to wear as an everyday watch. I ordered directly from Tissot UK. Big mistake.
First complaint, it took well over a week to arrive, which is poor compared with current online ordering and delivery standards.
Second complaint, the watch arrived not working. Obviously lack of quality control when sending out products. I was going to order a replacement, but when I went through the process of returning the faulty item, I was sent a return form, which stated I had to pay to return it! Come on, its 2021!
This made me decide to ask for a refund.
I managed to speak to the UK customer service department and they sent me another form to claim the cost of my postage, which I completed and emailed to them the day after I posted the watch back.
Its now been another two weeks, and I've had no communication, I've not received the refund for the watch, nor the postage. I really wouldn't recommend buying from a company which has clearly not updated its customer service processes since what seems like the 1970s.
Don’ Waste Your Money!
I bought my watch in September and in January it had stopped working. I only wore it when I went out so it was still like new and it was still under warranty. I took it back to the store where I bought it to get a new battery but the sales assistant brought it my attention that the wheel on the outside for adjusting the time had come off. I had no idea how this could have happened. In fact I have never had that happen to any watch I have ever owned. The store sent it to Tissot for repair and they want over $200 to repair the watch. That is half of what I paid for it. Tissot claim the wheel came off because of ‘misuse’. What a joke!! I have never bought a Tissot watch before and I will never buy another one. I am definitely not accepting their answer and intend to pursue this further. I have a watch 4 months old that I rarely wore and still in brand new condition and Tissot claim misuse. Shame on you Tissot!! I think the watch is faulty and I want my money back. My advice if you are considering buying a Tissot watch...DON’T! You will be disappointed!
Expensive Tissot watch was faulty, and service appalling.
We bought an expensive Tissot watch and it started losing time after a few months. We had the battery replaced, but a few months later started losing time again, so we had a second battery fitted. Again, after a few months it was losing several minutes a day, and by this time it was just out of warranty. We decided to send it to Tissot Australia to have a proper service which cost over $200. After using their complicated process, the watch was returned after 2 months. Within 2 days, the band broke. The pin holding the band together (which they replaced) had fallen out. I put it back in, but it was loose. Examining the old pin (Which they returned) showed that the replacement pin was slightly different, so they used the wrong part. The new pin fell out soon after, and was lost, so we will have to return it again. Hopefully the warranty on repairs will apply, but we won’t have the watch for another month or two again. We will never buy another Tissot watch again, and recommend anyone else doesn’t either.
The worst watches me and my boyfriend…
The worst watches me and my boyfriend bought tissot watches for our birthdays. Nice disign. Lasted 2 years and then expensive repair charges started. 1200 euro out of pocket and no watches. Very disappointed and discussed that any repair they do it lasts only 4months and back to repair again. Never ever buy unless you want be scammed. Seiko watch is working perfect while I am waiting over 5months for my tissot from repair.
