Tissot, don’t bother
I would never buy another Tissot. Watch had problems from the start. Sent of numerous times for repair. Very poor customer service.
Plenty of choice out there,
Have had nothing but expensive problems…
Have had nothing but expensive problems with a Tissot watch I bought. Always has to be sent out of the country to Tissot for repair which is never less than €100. Bracelet broke (luckily I didn't lose watch) - Tissot could/would not repair - €200 for a new one which has broken again this week. I've spent more on repairs to date than the original cost of the watch. I will definitely not buy a Tissot again.
Tissot T Touch Solar Problem - appalling service
T Touch solar developed a display fault without ever being worn. Went back for repair under warranty and still waiting after 2.5 months. Latest date is another month on. Communication is non existent. What a terrible make of watch in both reliability and service. Disgraceful.
Luxury Quality
Top qaulty brand, don't know why so many people are having hissy fits about their 20 year old Tissot watches, it's not a freaking Lamborghini. The watches are such good quality for their prices!
Crappy watches but especially very bad…
Crappy watches but especially very bad customer service, sorry I mean NO customer service.
Rip off
Rip off, bought a £450 watch, shortly after the warranty ran out the crown came of, sent it off to have it replaced...
£250 to replace it.
No thank you - its a £20 replacement item and £50 labour on a bad day.
You HAVE to use Tissot as the replacement part is restricted and no other jeweler can order it and fit it for you !
It WAS my 3rd Tissot watch - you have lost a loyal brand customer.
Why not to buy, or repair, a Tissot watch
Bought Tissot automatic watch 13 years ago for £260, and have loved it. 5 weeks ago the winder snapped, and I was quoted £70 by Debenhams in store to send it off and replace it. Great I thought! 2 weeks later a phone call from Debenhams - email from Tissot to say inside of watch had rusted (sealed watch and not used in water!) They would not replace winder without de rusting and resealing and price rose to £200. Debenhams guy very embarrassed and apologetic. Not happy but needed it done, so reluctantly agreed. Another phone call from Debenhams today, and another email from Tissot. This time the bracelet clasp is supposedly loose, funny enough that was not the case when I took the watch in! The repair price rose then by another £80 to almost £300, more than I paid for it when new! Once again repair guy very apologetic. I said no to the clasp repair and asked for original work only, but was told Tissot will not do part of the job, it's all or nothing! So I either pay £280, unless they then 'find' something else, then it could be even more, or watch is returned without any repair, even though part has been paid for in advance and they've had it for a month. Apparently, this is a common practice with Tissot and Smart watch repairs - I call it deceit and verging on theft! Will I buy another Tissot watch - I doubt it,even though I like them. Have Tissot lost another customer - you bet! Will they care - I doubt it very much!!!
Thieves.....
I brought a watch through the official Tissot website. I decided to return it for a refund before 28 day return period because they didn't send the bracelet links I requested to resize the watch.
After returned it they and did not refund my PayPal account and simply ignored my emails. Thankfully I kept all of the evidence and got a refund through PayPal.
They are a very dishonest operation. Only buy from them if you like being scammed.
Don’t buy Tissot
Automatic Tissot watch stopped working two weeks after purchase. Crown stopped winding watch and wearing or shaking it doesn’t work. My cheaper seikos have worked well for years. Had to return watch and pay shipping. What a waste of time. I’ll never buy another Tissot.
I boght a watch from their website…
I boght a watch from their website because on the pictures looks beautiful, but when I got the watch it really looks completely different. I send the watch back for a refund and and unset they said that the watch was scratch when the watch was in perfect conditions. it was a just an excuse for not to refund me my money. customer service is horrible, no body knows not even their policy. every time I was calling for the status of my refund every customer service representative was telling a different thing. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR WEBSITE. they are to many choices out there.
Horrible customer service
Such a bad experience with their customer service. The phone numbers don't work. You try to call, it rings and the call just ends suddenly. I had endless attempts just to get to talk to someone and when I had the right number and it finally rang, the right person was never there only the colleague who culdn't help me.
I had to call 4-5 different numbers, multiple times because most of the times the call was just ending, because it was always the number from the wrong department and some of them don't know anything at all, they can't help with return or online purchases and they said that I have to call someone else. Whatever I was asking, they couldn't help and I had to call a different number.
Eventually after a Week of daily calls I got to talk to someone and 'resolve' the problem. Well, they didn't solve it. I wanted to change bank accounts because the one I used to pay was going close and they transfered the money directly into the old bank account. Luckily the bank account was still open when they transferred the money and I have also seen it on time, but if it was closed at the time they returned the money I would have lost a few hundreds and I would have had no watch.
Regarding the quality of the watch, to me it seemed good but I have never worn it so I can't say much about that.
BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE!! Tissot sells watches that don’t last and then rapes you on the repairs costs for their bad watches...Go get a Timex for $150 and it will last longer than a Tissot $1,000 plus watch...Also good luck trying to get a hold of their service repair department!

Have a self wind $2000 plus watch. Stopped working
Advised that two jewels need replacing and the watch has a scratched bezel that needs fixing.
I tried to contact the Melbourne service centre twice prior to using website and no response.
really bad and rude for that kind of reputation and product.
Asked just to have the jewels fixed and they just said no we need to do it all.
Super disappointing.
First Tissot watch big disappointment
First Tissot watch, 60th birthday gift, never previously owned a quality Swiss "top of the range" watch, was over the moon!
Not long out of warranty and crown has broken off on whilst attempting to change date.
Found the Melbourne Service Centre rude. Not interested in helping. Advised out of warranty and my expense to repair. Hundreds of dollars.
Certainly not what you'd expect after paying top dollar and the watch is otherwise still like new.
It would appear to be a fault with the crown to simply snap the stem of crown off, (leaving it inside the watch,) on pulling out to adjust time or date!
I would suggest a free fix or replacement should be in order.
Quality Concerns
First. Tissot discoloured after a year. Bought another 3 years ago. Crown wont change time or day/date. LOOKS good but for the price, it has broken down a little too soon. Thats 2 failed Tissot watches in 3 years,
I have owned my TISSOT PRC 200 IIHF…
I have owned my TISSOT PRC 200 IIHF 2020 SPECIAL EDITION for a couple of months now, and I am absolutely in love with it. I like how casual it feels and how sturdily built it is. The white/blue colors fit my personality greatly. I am a very sporty person, and I have taken it for a few runs with me. It does great with my sweaty wrist.
Perfect entry piece for a Swiss watch collection
High quality Swiss watches at a much more affordable price than other big name brands. The Swiss ETA movement in some of the older models was the same movement used by many others brands but at a much greater price. A perfect entry piece for a Swiss watch collection.

Started to slow after 3m. Would lose 30 min in one day
Send for repair 3 times and they just replaced the battery every time!
Still slow
Tissot Touch
Received a Tissot Touch, at my request, as a 40 year service award. This was 6 years ago. Since then have been through 3 bands at $100 each and repairs at $400+. For an expensive watch am very dissatisfied. Have not used it now for over a year. Would not recommend
Strongly recommend not to purchase

I purchased a Tissot watch for my wife in the the UK from an authorised Tissot outlet. The worldwide guarantee gave us confidence as we were visiting from Australia. Within a matter of weeks the $700 watch case was showing signs of flaking gold gilding front and rear, the "leather" band was flaking and peeling and the watch was gaining over half an hour a week. This was reported to Tissot Australia, after jumping through hoops the watch was returned to the service Dept in Melbourne. After two months without a reliable timepiece the watch was finally returned, with new watch band and replacement case ( after inference it was caused by misuse despite the fact my wife's previous watch lasted 20 years faultlessly). Now two months later, Tissot watch gaining 10 minutes a day, rubbish watch band flaking its genuine leather faux plastic coating. We recommend never to purchase a Tissot watch , It was explained that due to magnetic influences it is usual for automatic watches to gain time incrementally, any intending purchasers should expect a regular quarterly visit to a Jeweller apparently!! So far the flaking gold gilding has not recurred. Consider a Casio as a better option...
