I’m shocked by the level of incompetence displayed by TLW Solicitors. They represented someone close to me who had lost several thousand £££ in a bank transfer scam that happened in 2018, but the Financial Ombudsman Service quite rightly threw the complaint out because TLW pleaded that the victim was entitled to reimbursement under the Contingent Reimbursement Model (CRM) despite this code of practice not being introduced until 28 May 2019. So my friend didn’t get any money back, and this was entirely down to the astonishingly inept work done by TLW solicitors. I have seen the rejection letter by the FOS and it leaves no room for doubt.
TLW Solicitors is evidently yet another “law firm” that jumped on the scam-refund bandwagon and has very little idea how to represent victims of bank transfer fraud. In fact, TLW Solicitors is pretty much representative of the poor standards you will find out there. Very few people truly understand how to complain to banks and the FOS. If you appoint TLW Solicitors and you do get your money back, it probably means that you could have done it on your own - TLW only win easy cases.

Harassed to death by constant calls once we explored the options. Then threatened with a big bill and the actual owner of the car has not even liaised with the company. Stay clear too aggressive.

TLW dealt with a pension claim for me and I can’t thank them enough. I have real difficultly understanding pensions, like a lot of people, but Alex explained everything clearly and kept me fully update d throughout the claim. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and approachable and made the claims process easier to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

This is a company of rat scammers.
They will try and charge you £300 for a 5 minute phone call that you didn’t ask for. And then £1500 for letters that you didn’t ask for.
Do not trust them at all.

I first heard about this company online as they were offering their services to people who had a bank overdraft for a number of years.
I first got in touch last year and they have been so good in helping me claim my money back!
I dealt with Florina first who excellent but then I was passed over to Elaine.
She was nothing but professional from the start.
Every step was communicated efficiently and effectively right the very start.
She got a nice refund from my bank, something which I didn't even know I was entitled to.
I would definitely recommend this company to everyone!

Total nightmare from start they say emails send and messages sent yet have nothing on my phone and called more than once to sort this out yet no call sorted the problem out myself with out any help from them yet still send me a bill for 500 pound and they can’t tell me what for so gave them the opportunity to sort this so now time for the ombudsman to sort out do not like the fact they think I am a liar not on at all

Just got a letter saying I'm getting my overdraft charges back and a bit more couldn't of done it without TLW Solicitors

I found TLW solicitors to be very helpful, extremely good at explaining the procedure and keeping me updated all the time. It has taken a while but that was explained to me at the beginning, without their diligence and continued updates, advice and encouragement I would have probably given up, with their expertise I have received compensation. Accepted a marketing call about mis-sold solar panels. Didn't expect to get anything. TLW were very thorough, some repeated form filling but ultimately received compensation that had never thought I would.
Kept me well informed throughout. 25% of award was payment for the work. Seems a lot but I wouldn't have got any compensation without the work of TLW.
