I like this site and use it a lot. My most recent order of bare root ferns has not sent up any shoots yet after several weeks. I think I ordered too late into the summer. I will keep an eye out to... See more

There were no planting instructions with the baggies or on the website so I did my best and tried to use Google for the rest. Several items never came up, but it's possible that they're ephemeral? I don't know and I'd rather replace those plants from another company at this point. It also took almost a month for everything to arrive after I ordered, and only a few of those days were in transit. So instead of planting in mid-May as hoped, I didn't get things in the ground until early-June.

Easy to find what I needed, very reasonable prices and timely delivery

The shipment was delayed over a month. When I finally got the plants I potted them right away. Most have not come up.

Shipped way too late in the season. Pretty sure I've lost 80+% of the plants due to a heat wave hitting right after getting them in the ground after they arrived over a month after the order was placed. Holding out hope that some of the 80% survived and I see some new plants next season. Was also short around 6 lyreleaf sage plants that I had to order from another vendor.

Took a long time from ordering to actually receiving the plants (5/9 to 6/2), and by then we were pretty much into summer. Of the three different types of wildflowers I received, only the echinacea made it. Black-eyed susan and goldenrod never came up at all. I’m disappointed, and not planning to order from them again.

took fully 30 days from order to receive my bareroot shastas. I planted them immediately but none survived. No more TN nursery.

None of the plants grew. No planting instructions. Had to look up how to plant.

About 6 of the plants were almost dead upon arrival, but all the others look great and healthy. We hoping the 6 sad one would perk up,but they didn't and died. Because they looked so bad compared to the others, I think they were struggling before shipping.

Delivery was almost exactly on time, down to the hour. Price was amazing, and I got a root ball like I expected. I ordered a lily of the valley.
Edit- I meant to put 5 stars, the flowers are beautiful. Dunno why it posted as 4 the first time

my previous order of ten had only 1 that survived. This one is a much better

I got six roots and planted them all. Can't remember the exact delivery date but it was around the day noted in this review. It was hard to tell which end of the root should go in the ground. I scratched both ends, as advised in the video that I watched and advise others to do the same. Might be an idea to somehow mark which end is which, maybe with a red Sharpie to show "this side up". The other thing is that of the 6 roots, only one is sprouting. I've seen lush bushes on people's fences near me and might just ask if I can nab a root or two from them.
