Bought a shirt great quality ... wrong size but they sorted me a replacement thank you - top service!

So, I've received a retro shirt which is good quality and fits a treat BUT...I ordered it to include the number four! Problem is, the number has been placed far too high and is between the shoulders! Schoolboy error and not a happy bunny! On reading their returns policy, it says they will not accept returns where shirts have been personalised, I.e. with names and or numbers! This has somewhat pissed me off as the number is the problem...so I emailed them four days ago and I await their reply with interest!

The 2 football shirts I bought are very good quality and I was very pleased with then until yesterday when I saw a replay of two World Cup matches and the shirts are only similar to but not exact replicas. Toffs may dispute my claim but wrong colour of cuffs and collar and on the other shirt no sleeve stripes. I cannot see the teams making a subtle change for one game. I am still happy enough with them but I am now not so enthusiastic about purchasing more shirts on the promise of exact copies. I awarded a generous 4 stars purely on the quality aspect and close enough similarity to originals.

I asked for the inter milan and real betis which where long sleeved to be custom made to short sleeved, toffs was very happy to accommodate

I am really impressed. I have purchased two items from them in little over a month. One urgent and was out of stock, the other not so urgent and in stock. They delivered both on time and went the extra mile to ensure the out of stock item was delivered as required.

The shirts are great and their customer service was first class.

Just received a custom order I made over the phone last Friday. Great service, great help, great quality, quick delivery, would definitely recommend.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Awful Company, out to con people ( cannot believe the good reviews - can only assume they are a con as well & written themselves). Ordered a t-shirt for my husband, took money straight away & then said it would be out of stock for weeks, when I asked for my money back, low & behold it was sent next day! The quality was dreadful, was just a basic, cheap t-shirt with a motif on, my husband & myself thought it was worth £5 not £30. I returned it, knowing they would not pay my £3 postage fee which is fair enough, I heard nothing, chased up after 2 weeks & finally received a refund of £25. I returned the t-shirt in perfect, unused condition - no explanation as to why they have stolen £5 from me! Avoid at all costs - you are better off going to Sports Direct.

I gave 3 stars because even though the shirt was of a great quality, the customer service response let's them down, I've got friends who say the same thing. In this day and age, I feel that customer service is important. They are so slow in responding to my email and twitter messages. Anyway, I have on 2 separate occasions bought shirts from Toffs and they sent the wrong sizes. I'm sure that the sizes are not correct. I've ordered XXL size but when I measured the shirt it was a L size even though the label said XXL. I've requested a exchange (again). Now still waiting for a reply.

I have purchased online a few occasions now for my son,I have always had good communication from staff and the shirts are excellent quality and wash well.most are made to order so can take longer but well worth waiting for. Highly recommend.

Ordered a shirt for a friends 50th and advised may be 14 days for delivery. After letting them know it was a present, they sorted production of the shirt and I received delivery in good time.

Very unhappy with Toffs.

I ordered a shirt. Days later they email me to say that it's out of stock at the manufacturers and in their own warehouse.

Why can't they just say "out of stock" on their website?

I'm sure they could if they wanted to.

This is the second time this has happened.

Not an impressive experience.

I've recently bought my fifth item from Toffs , only to receive umpteenth confirmation of what I already knew too well. As far as retro shirts are concerned, Toffs is the best of the best. Quality of fabric and colours , extreme care for details , helpful attitude of the whole staff (with special mention for Maureen) ....what else ? If there had been a ten-star rating I would have given it to Toffs with no hesitation. Thanks...just thanks .Paolo

Have ordered from Toffs twice, have paid for next day delivery twice and following day get an email to say what i have ordered is out of stock. Surely Toffs can get their website to liaise with their stock control. Extremely annoying.I have asked for a refund on delivery charge (Toff's it's not the money it's the customer experience) - i have not heard back from them. Plus when items finally arrived the quality was extremely poor. It was as if they had purchased poor quality T shirts and put a print on them .

Recommend extreme caution when dealing with them

Ordered a few things which said they would be delivered in the next 1-2 days ( for a birthday present) to then get an email telling me they’re out of stock and it won’t be shipped till Monday! Not very informative and I wouldn’t of bothered if I new it wasn’t going to be here for the date I wanted it!
